Neovalen Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Next big update seems to be aimed at essentially using DSR mesh packs and removing the need for DSR patcher/code. Will see how it goes, if its really as good as advertised(remains to be seen) then DSR might just turn into a pack haven. It honestly sounds like he's doing what I don't have RL time to do but was planning for a DSR 2.0 :). Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
darthbdaman Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 When the update comes out you should be able to drop Auto Unequip Ammo as well, as he stated it would include similar options.
darthbdaman Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 New version out now. Includes Dual Sheath Redux functionality without SkyProc Patching!
statmonster Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Now we just needs something that will get rid of the need for NPC Enchantment Fix SkyProc patches. Still, since SUM has grown to hate me maybe this will cut down on the load for SUM (I vaguely think it is running out of memory with the huge patch it (NPC Enchantment Fix) builds. And perhaps with only one patch to build, switching back to SkyProc instead of SUM would help out.
CJ2311 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Now we just needs something that will get rid of the need for NPC Enchantment Fix SkyProc patches. Not gonna happen, due to the nature of that patcher.
statmonster Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 That's what they said about DSR - I can live in hope :)
phazer11 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Alright Neo you need to weigh in on this lol.
Crimson13 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I feel you. NPC Enchantment Fix is useful but it's such a pain to use SUM because of all the error messages it throws up at me.
Kuldebar Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Scripting genius at work for sure, but way, way too invasive to the game for me. I cringe at the idea of losing good weapons in the terrain or the possibility of other unforeseen glitches.
darthbdaman Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 There is a spell that retrieves the weapons you drop if you happen to lose them. Or you could turn the unequip feature off. I have been testing the new version and it is amazing. Functions as a Dual Sheath Redux, Drop Lit Torches and Auto Unequip Ammo all in one.

Nice to know.
darthbdaman Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 No it is real stable. It does flicker a bit when switching weapons or adding more favourites. But in terms of stability I'd trust it more than DSR.

Crimson13 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 So what do you guys think so far? Drop Dual Sheath Redux (Sorry Neovalen...), Drop Lit Torches and Auto Unequip Ammo in favor or wait and see? It looks pretty good so far, but I'll admit that since I use DSR I'm kinda confused on how to switch to it if I do.
