ScubaSuun Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 This is not entirely compatible with 3D Vision. The 3D "Laser Sight" does not render in stereo 3D. A simple workaround to the double cursor problem is to open the console before using alt-tab to switch out of Skyrim.
abraXas Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I'm not sure if this mod and the BW one are being maintained anymore, as the mod auther claims they are superseded by this one https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40706/?
DoubleYou Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 True, but some have had issues with OneTweak.
rootsrat Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 True, but some have had issues with OneTweak. I am one of these people and I still use this and BW :) I haven't tried the latest version of OT though...
z929669 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Yep, just re-remembered that ... I was looking for "Double", but it is just named "Cursor Fix" :P
rootsrat Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I think we should stick to the names that are on Nexus (or any other download source) mod pages.
Octopuss Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I think we should stick to the names that are on Nexus (or any other download source) mod pages.THIS, a million times.Just because a mod has weird seemingly unrelated stuff for example at the beginning of the name doesn't mean it should be renamed in the guide. It confuses people. 1
z929669 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 In this case, it is fine to rename as on Nexus; however, in some cases, this is just not going to happen, because mod names are URLs, and some mod names are just too ridiculously long to work within our URLs ... and our mod tables also use the mod names, so long names also do not work. Perhaps we can use the long name in the mouseover though.
Octopuss Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 You are right, some are horribly long. However, it's usually the first part that's important. I don't really agree with putting author's name before the name of the mod, but it's called like that, and when you cut it out, the name starts with completely different letters and it's confusing when you are looking for files in a folder, for example. So for example, stuff like this Enemy AI OverHaul---Revenge Of the Enemies---No Scripts Version Better Stealth AI for Followers - No Torch while Sneaking could be shortened from the other end without problems, while "Shrines HD" cut down from "Mystery Modders Shrines HD" is really really BAD idea. 1
