rpsgc
Discussion thread: Dual Wield Blocking Animations by Daljo Wiki Link This mod was made specifically for Dual Wield Parrying. Adds proper blocking animations. It replaces some incomplete animations with those of blocking with a torch and adds a few new ones. Replaces: dw1hm1hmblockbash.hkx dw1hm1hmblockbashintro.hkx dw1hm1hmblockbashpower.hkx dw1hm1hmblockidle.hkx Adds: dw1hm1hmblockanticipate.hkx dw1hm1hmblockanticipatemt.hkx dw1hm1hmblockhit.hkx dw1hm1hmblockhitmt.hkx dw1hm1hmmovingblockidle.hkx There are no .esp or scripts, just animation files. It works as intended. rootsrat
I can vouch for it as well - I've been using it for a long time now and it works like a charm. It's an absolute MUST for Dual Wield Parrying mod.
Vond
Yep, with Dual Wield Parrying accepted this is a must have as well.
Eliian
Mod Page I was not entirely sure what to put for several categories. Placed it in the Animation category for now. Hopefully someone could edit it to fit when time.
rootsrat
I think Animations sounds about right ;)
jakeslim
I'm having a strange problem trying to install this in MO - it gives me an error message saying "encoding method unsupported", then cancels the installation with an error message "the mod was not installed completely". Checking in the mod folder it only installs the readme.txt file. Anyone have any ideas what causes this?
EssArrBee
First thing is to redownload the file and see if the one you got was corrupted somehow. Then see if it is packaged correctly when you install it.
jakeslim
Thanks, I had already tried re-downloading and it didn't work, however tried once more and all good!
Tigrael
The description on Nexus now says: "Important! - 5poiler offers a considerably better set of animations, in addition to other alternative blocking animations for 1h/2h, and I would recommend downloading them instead of this.Blocking Animation Pack by 5poiler" Any word on this?
EssArrBee
We kinda overlooked the post above didn't we? ^^
Nebulous112
I have created a thread for Blocking Animation Pack, and I will be testing it in my current playthrough. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/9332-blocking-animation-pack-by-5poiler/ I'll see about maybe making a wiki page for it as well, since I would like to learn how to do that. I'm not sure if you guys want an official testing tag thrown on it or not (or if I even have the permission level to do that). Regardless, I'll keep that thread updated with my findings once I have a chance to play a decent amount of time with it.

So XCE - Dawnguard is XCE-Dawnguard. Trade & Barter is Trade and Barter. Ampersands bork the url.
Greg
I imagine you sword slingers will get a lot more out of this mod. I had Blocking Animation Animation installed for a while, but it doesn't do anything for the *cough* archers *cough* in the group that don't use swords and shields. Nebulous112
Thanks for the tips, Ess. I'll probably have a go at that this weekend. @Greg - *raises voice* What's that?! I couldn't hear you over the sound of my sword cleaving necks. ;-)
