Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Hi Neo,

In the Optimizing The Bethesda Textures section of the guide the HigResTexturePack01, HigResTexturePack02 and HigResTexturePack03 are not listed.

Do I remove these from the Skyrim Data folder, so that MO shows what it in the guide?

Also, the HRDLC1 Optimized, HRDLC2 Optimized, HRDLC3 Optimized should only be installed if not using the downloaded textures, correct.

I do remove the high res texture pack DLC personally and rely on the optimized versions. Hence why it doesn't show up on my setup. Per the note in the guide:

If on an SSD and drive space is a concern, deleting HighResTexturePack01.bsa/.esp, HighResTexturePack02.bsa/esp, and HighResTexturePack03.bsa/.esp will not negatively affect the game unless running fully vanilla. To reacquire them at any time use the [Verify integrity of game cache] function from the Steam library options.

That being said, I think* when version 6.0 is finished uploading the individual DLC packs should already contain the HD textures from the DLCs. Hope I'm correct about that but I can't check until its finished uploading.

Looks like the 'High Definition Base Game Textures' are not available for download yet at Optimized Vanilla Textures. I can only see the HD DLC texture pack.

Yeah, he's having trouble uploading the base game hd textures.

Found this mod which may either fit into SRLE or SRLE extended, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72238/?

Also posted on the SRLE Extended forum.

Interesting mod. Not something I'd personally use just because I don't like the idea of needlessly cycling (nor having a UI element up all the time) but cool none the less.

A less intrusive mod doing the same is: Equipment HUD by Snotgurg

I'm installing SR:LE again, I wonder if it is possible to use this versions of the following mods in the guide:

Realistic Ragdolls and Force by dDefinder

In guide you chose realistic, will the "medium" be ok or can it cause issues with dead bodies etc?

TroubleMakers Forsworn Armor - Customizable UNPB and BBP also BBPx by MrTroubleMaker

I like the topless version, this add some textures also. I was thinking to "hide" the textures in MO, so is this version ok from a SR:LE point of view?

Lore Friendly and SemiSkimpy Armors - UNPB-BBP by Statmonster

I want to use the semiskimpy version, not the lore friendly. The semiskimpy version install some textures that I was planning to hide if not needed. Will this version cause any problems?

Thanks for any help.

Hey Neo, FYI PapyrusUtil is now v3.2. Quite a few stability improvements from the changelog.

+1 to the suggestion of Hearthfire Extended. I've been using it in STEP Extended and I quite like it. A lot of good stuff that should have been in Hearthfire to begin with. Note that the author has recently mentioned the ITMs will be removed in the next version and are safe to clean. This is recent info which contradicts the old description page.

Also, if I might make a suggestion for your guide: Understandable Draugrs. Fairly unknown, but a pretty neat concept. I like it quite a bit. It uses Bethesda's own translations from the CK as subtitles when Draugrs get mad and yell in their Dovahzul language (which it makes sense that the Dragonborn understands).

BTW Neo, I really enjoyed your joke with Mature Skin texture and Body and was waiting to see if anyone else would respond to it.

But I will take the bait since no one else seems to have done so... Public Hair ^^ good one :)

Hello Neo. I was wondering how easy it would be to talk you into relocating Lightning During Thunderstorms to the Weather Systems category. Since it is a weather mod and half of it is included in the Climates of Tamriel Merge I'm hoping you might be interested in my idea

that actually makes sense to me but could lightening during thunderstorm not be merged in with climates of tamriel that way we'll all have 1 least esp all together?

Hi Neo,

Just curious...how come you added to FNIS the "FNIS Behavior 6.2 AddOn 1"?

Isn't it mainly for tktk1 mods which SRLE does not use? Unless ofc you are thinking of adding UC shortly...  ::):

It never hurts to maintain compatibility for users down stream. :)
