The DynDOLOD MCM Settings page simple shows/modifies the INI settings.

The "defaults" are whatever is set via the game launcher, BethINI or manually in SkyrimPrefs.INI.

The default settings depend on the Skyrim launcher quality settings. Not that they matter in any way.

what you mean by matter anyway?

also where do i find these values in skyrim ini and what would be good values for em?

The default values based on quality setting are just that: some default values, they are not perfect.

Set them to your liking in SkyrimPrefs.ini [TerrainManager]

If you use BethINI they are on the "View Distance" tab Distant Object Detail

Level 4 = fBlockLevel0Distance

Level 8 = fBlockLevel1Distance

Level 16 = fBlockMaximumDistance

and the "Foliage" tab Trees

Far-off Tree Distance = fTreeLoadDistance

Can someone help me please? I changed dyndolod's settings via mcm and I sadly I cannot revert it! Please can someone send me a screenshot of his or hers mcm dyndolod settings?

@sheson May have some recommendations for this. Mine is customized, and I don't have the original settings on hand. Many of them come from Skyrim.ini anyway. Others may come from the DynDOLOD_SSE.ini, but I don't recall.

@TechAngel85, @DoubleYou, @Greg ... I had planned on getting screens showing DynDOLOD 3+ MCM defaults to add to our dev guide MCM settings section, so this may be an opportune time to do that once we know what they are. I assume that one could easily revert to defaults via the MCM scripting config, but I am not familiar enough offhand and don't want to get sidetracked chasing down the best way to do this with all the other 'ducks' I am aligning.
