Hi All,

Hopefully I won't be asking too many questions as I roll through this guide (been rolling through nicely so far), but I have a question about the Exeter Type 3 Armor Fix.

The guide mentions "This mod provides a beta patch plugin which removes the containers with Exeter clothing and adds the clothing to levelled lists." What I'm not sure about is whether this means the esps that come with some of the Exeter Armors are no longer required and this fix effectively replaces them, or whether they do something more than just adding boxes to the world containing the new armors and are still required, and this fix should be lower in the load order after these esps (per the guide - "install in MO below (higher priority) the associated Exeter clothing mods")

Andy advice would be much appreciated :)

Cheers,

All this 'fix' does is place these armours in levelled lists so they are distributed around the game. It is not a replacement for ANY plugin.

As GrantSP mentions it places the Exeter female armor/clothing in leveled lists and at vendors, and removes the containers with Exeter armor/clothing in various places. It also includes records with the Exeter armor and clothing that seem to me to eliminate the need for using the Exeter plugins from mods such as Type3 armors and outfits, T3 Madlax Outfits, Type3 and BFM Scout outfits, Trooper Outfits for Type3, Refugee clothing for Type3, Blackrock Shooter for Type3, Point Lookout Outfits for Type 3, and Freebooter armor for Type 3.

Thanks for the replies GrantSP and Kelmych (and the bump Alvarado :) )

I'm just putting the finishing touches to my build (99% the brilliant C&PD guide and a few additions of my own such as Point Lookout Reborn, etc) - there's a few more small mods I'd like to add into my play-though but my game's sweet spot seem to be about 204 active mods (not counting merged or imported into bash) before I get consistent crashes, so will look into stripping out some of those Type3 plugins and saving myself a few mod slots :)

Cheers,

Hi

With this esp activated I noticed  a few missing armor meshes and textures being from the Dimonized type 3 body mod which is in the "options" section of that mod. I see Exeter Type3 Armor Fix lists DIMType3clothesRetail.esp as one of the merged plugins but I haven't noticed anything in Clear and Present Danger guide about adding this  (unless I'm blind). So if you find missing textures add that file. (You don't need the included esp) Just trying to help.

Sidetracking for a moment I notice that Cartons of Cigarettes and Packs of Cigarettes are listed in the inventory under both Aid and Misc lists with different values it's a small fix.

I ran into the same issues with missing meshes and textures but I use Beware of Girl replacer because I think it better matches the skin tone of Fallout Redesigned.  However, they are both Type 3 and the DIMType3clothesRetail.esp is a standalone fine.  I installed it and it worked great.  Thanks for figuring this out.
