  1. In the update for jan 30: "1. Updated Installation Instructions for Another Interior Mod, to remove an overwrite of a location in In the Shadow of the Swamp" I can´t actually find "Another interior mod" in the guide(?)
  2. I heard of some issues with newer MO2 builds and Win 10, but I suppose those are resolved?
  3. Agreed, you´re doing a bang up job so far, Lexy!
  4. Just wanted to say the dedication to keep this guide up-to-date is admirable :)
  5. Let´s not get dramatic ;) He obviously saved it wrong when updating the guide. You can still access older revisions, eg. https://wiki.step-project.com/index.php?title=User:Kelmych/Fallout3&oldid=101837
  6. I was wondering that too, but I think I´ll just jump into it, and see if I run into any problems :)
  7. Most encouraging to me was a video (was it brodual?) showing alot better fps and stability with large amounts of NPCs on the screen. I reckon a month or two after SSESE is out practically all modding focus will be on SE. Makes all sense in the world.
  8. Did you forget to click the save button? I almost did that, because I thought it would save automatically when closing down Wrye Bash. I double checked afterwards and saw the master had not been changed, so I redid the procdure properly :P
  9. You can check this discussion here: https://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2480655 seems some people have problems with it, though. Screen tearing, unless you use a 120hz monitor for example. I suppose you could just try and see if it works fine for you. Physics issues unless you cap to 60 fps in Nvidia settings.
  10. So, apparently my issues with capping to 30 fps could be because I use a 60hz update frequency, and setting it to 30 should make it smoother, but I can´t find those settings for my graphics card/screen. Will check if it´s possible to do. Another question, I noticed that some settings in RaceMenu seemingly do nothing when I move the sliders, but after I exit the alternate start scene, the changes show (with kind of dramatic effects since I couldn´t preview the changes in RaceMenu, lol). I read on another forum that this could be resolved by using a TBBP version of UNP, and then reinstalling the skeleton? Anyone else have the same issue? I messed up there as well. The notes from Claralux merge:
  11. Well, the lack of smoothness was noticable, and it felt like there was a lag when moving the mouse around, ever so slight. Things like that are enough to make me nauseous. Its hard to explain, and I might be a special case. I do feel nausea at times playing older 3d games. A bit like that..
  12. whoa, I just tried to cap to 30fps and got motion sickness from playing Skyrim. It was downright unpleasant. Experiment over :P
  13. Same here, I´ve gotten used to the bleak fauna of OG Skyrim, and all those flora mods seemed over the top to me, but thats just me
  14. I´ll try capping to 30fps with the current setup and see if I can stand it :P If that´s the case I might try revisiting those mods, but I have to say, I´m not too fuzzy when it comes to graphics :) More quests and better gameplay is way more important to me.
  15. So stayed up until 2 in the morning yesterday merging and going through the finish line page, and - everything works! :) Good stuff. Note for people on a lowly Geforce 960/core i5/non-SSD like me who like to keep a smooth 60 fps(when possible). No flora Overhaul. I would get framedrops too often and I don¡t like that. No beautification part of the guide. Lite takes up 3 gigs, and my card is 2. No EtAC. My fps would dip to between 47 and 53 in villages, and to me this is extremely annoyhg. No immersive citizens, same story, frames would drop in any populated area. WIth graphic overhauls, choose performance alternative if available. No ENB (think thats self explanatory) Those things will have to wait until I save up for a new computer. So far a smooth 60fs 95% of the time, with Skyrim I doubt 100% is even possible with a heavily modded setup :) Thanks for the guide and for all the help :)
  16. Ok, solved it. I know I was being stupid, but I forgot that MO creates a virtual Skyrim data folder, so I chose the LECM merge.esp in the MO mods folder instead. Yeah, dont do that... Learning something new everyday :)
  17. its the weirdest thing. I tried to reinstall Wrye Bash, making sure it installed Skyrim version only, but no matter if I clear the oblivion section completely, it wont go away (i removed all tickboxes and install directory), so I suspect my problem is because of this. Will have to look at installing manually I suppose...
  18. Might have missed that, will make sure to install Neos version and try again. Another peculiar error, when trying to change masters for blowing, Wrye bash complains plugin must be loaded from Oblivion data directory. I am using the Skyrim Wrye bash, linked from the guide...
  19. 1. My fault for not trusting the guide. That esp should among the Requiem patches, not the LotD patches :P 2. Yeah, seeing it now, I rememner reading it and thinking: "Ill go back and do that when Im done installing this section." Hah! 3. Well, then Im going to assume its safe to delete those folders - tnx. 4. So lets hope this wont cause me any problems farther down the line :P tnx for all help!
  20. Going thorugh the merges. All well so far, Ive gotten good at manually moving esp:s into the right position for merges so no issues there so far:) Some questions though: 1. We have more interesting loot in the guide but not the patch for Legacy in the merge. Intentional? 2. Blowing in the wind Claralux patch rwuires blowing in the wid master, which was merged. Tried to find what I did wrong in the guide, but no luck so far.. 3. Merges sometimes merge scripts and textures too. The Faces merge creates a huge 3 gig folder. Can I safle delete textures from the merge folder since they are still in the original folders (esp:s just moved to optional in info) 4. Do I remember someone getting errors with ICH merge and was told to ignore? Thats what I did for now.. Getting there slowly :)
  21. Relighting Skyrim was updated, need new patch? All respect to mod authors, but I wish the would keep a couple of old versions on Nexus... Hopefully Ill be all setup in an hour or two :)
  22. well, here´s hoping :) If there are too many issues I´ll just drop it.
  23. Apart from including wyrmstooths patches available for certain mods in the guide, anything else? I´ve been sure to look for Wyrmstooth patches on every mod page.
  24. Ok, I nuked my SRLE install to do this properly from scratch. Will add Wyrmstooth, but that´s probably my only deviation.. Preparing for a modding weekend starting when I come home from work :) Good work guys!
  25. Am I blind or is there no body replacement in this guide? TMB Vanilla Armors is for UNP? Edit: I mean for the player character, there are for NPCs and Khajits... or does the Windsong mod do that too?
