  1. That´s what I do, yes :) Old skool! But MO makes things way easier and organized, not to mention not having to nuke you entire setup if something goes wrong... oh, wouldn´t it be nice if Bethesda used a separate folder for user installed mods instead of everything in the data directory...
  2. You might be able to use MO2, but it was left very unfinished...
  3. I feel hopelessly handicapped using NMM :P Not being able to do manual install, whaaat? :P
  4. First off, there will definitely be mods from the start for Skyrim SE, but it will be the the ones easy to transfer, like models, textures and such. Scripted mods requiring SKSE will likely take months. It depends on how many options you want, really. No matter what anyone says, SE will be substantially better graphically, with a stabler 64-bit engine. It´s not "just an ENB". They have improved textures (probably models too by the looks of it) and vegetation is thicker and more lush, and you don´t need a gaming powerhouse to play it, unlike the mods that are available for "old" Skyrim. So in the end the question is what you´re willing to give up? Your options are an unstable old skyrim with 50k mods, or a new stabler Skyrim that taxes your system less, maybe a couple of hundred mods and no SkyUI.
  5. Karthwasten and whistling mine updated anyone had a look at this? Unofficial Skyrim City Patch (USCP) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79559/?
  6. How about using a different text color for optional esp:s, so you don´t miss them, and explaining that in beginning of merge instructions?
  7. Even better quest objectives had an update: Version 1.5.8 Forward changes from latest USLEEP and minor corrections. Preparation for special edition.
  8. Sorry. Note to self - RTFM
  9. maybe stoopid question but TMB vanilla armors, if we dont choose the vanilla version outfits, will that affect the patches? Kind of like the alternatives in some cases :)
  10. Good to hear. I´ll leave it in then, and just avoid them if they´re all messed up, not like they hurt the main quest.
  11. Last one for now. Since Wheels of Lull and The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal were removed, any big issues using them? Something I need to think about? Aah, good stuff. Will drop Better vampires then :)
  12. ugh.. don´t remember if I removed that from SRLE base, will check when I come home. Thanks :) Any problems installing Better vampires? Oh, and - safe to update to LotD 16.10? edit 2: These look beautiful :P https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79169/?
  13. revisited this one.. problem is I can´t find any FormID that ends with 03D4DF at all....
  14. I would say most problems come from my insistence to try to merge all the LotD Reqtified stuff into an existing SRLE base, going through this guide its crazy organized. I love it! Probably should just nuke my old install though, and start from the beginning. Thanks for making this so modular.:)
  15. I suppose the merge page isnt finished? Curious if I can merge all those Claralux patches..
  16. I´ve noticed FO3 can be sensitive when using many mods, my sweet spot is usually between 190 and 210 before it gets wonky, usually giant exclamation marks and unable to loot. Remove any mod and all is fine.. I´ve learned to live with it. And I´m finally ready to do a new playthrugh again too, although honestly I´ve probably never played through more than a third of the game before :P
  17. wooot?! How embarassing, I stand corrected then. Must be because I haven´t had to do this myself. In other words - RTFM! LOl...
  18. I learned something new, tnx! For guides with conflict resolution patches this might be a good thing to add to troubleshooting at the end. There are likely to be more instances where mods disappear from Nexus and no ones around to update the guide. To spare you some time :)
  19. see my post above yours...
  20. says "All of my mods are hidden until November 9" apparently modmaker wants to make a political stand... trust me on this, don´t nag about it, it´ll only make things worse...
  21. no expert, but I usually leave the original mod folders activated, and just move the esps to optional (and let MO sort it out). Wouldn´t this ensure no issues?
  22. Another vote for survival mods as optionals, but if it´s too much work no worries :) I think I´ll be using CBBE myself, just used to the flexibility it provides, time to look for good clothes and armors... meanwhile playing fallout3 again... :)
