    For the [Enhanced Lights and FX] The instructions say CWIELnFXPatch.esp was installed earlier and needs to be modified but I don't have it. Which step installed it so that I can backtrack. Thx EDIT: Found it! ICOW...all these bloody shorthands are going to kill me!

    it is how I'm learning to mod for sure. Each guide I follow I learn something new and I when I get brave, I carry some mods from guide to guide. Load this one up with mods Diana 'til your hearts content. After all, it's your guide!

    I realize now you said that you saw the cart ride and then crashed...for the direct X issue you would even get to the main screen.

    When I did a clean windows 10 install on my PC I had something similar happen, special edition working great, set up Skyrim classic, working, install ENB ..crash! Banging my head on a wall until I read the prerequisites, old direct X needed to be installed as it's not on Windows 10. May want to check that.

    No, please do post, that is how we get to learn. I read no offense in your post and this was just an overreaction. Schvanys_Epitome, these authors are some of the finest you can find and have helped me numerous times out of the goodness of their heart. Please work the problem and keep it friendly.

    Reading it now...Lot's of great info! Even the antivirus advice, I use Avast, think I'm using Avira not, will need to check when I get home.

    Hey guys, the guide looks great, decided to give it a go. Just going to ask questions as I go along. 1) The Crash Fixes section, just noted a small inconsistency. "Check if you have a file named named "CrashFixPlugin_preload.txt" in Data\SKSE\Plugings (beside CrashFixPlugin.ini and CrashFixPlugin.dll), if not, create it." Since this is in mod organizer, should be "right click on crash fixes, open in explorer, etc... correct? 2) Right click on the dll file. Select Properties Click on the General tab in the Properties window. 4. Click on the Unblock option next to the Security detail which says... I can't find this at all when I right click and select properties. Is this still valid? 3) finally, the " Stability Performance Optimization ENB Configuration - a Comprehensive Guide by Sthaagg" Did you pull the relevant parts out, or am I to go through the whole nexus mod steps and descriptions. Thx

    You got it, I believe Diane added the step to the unofficial patch instructions but can't check from where I am right now.

    I just wiped my installs due to a new SSD and started by building STEP Extended from scratch. Gotten better at it, worked 1st time :) But, I got the bug for Requiem, hard to shake it off after play with it from previous guides. How is this Pack guide as it's been inactive for nearly 2 years. Thx

    Got a new SSD and going to do a clean wipe of PC. Will start this guide from the start since there has been slot of changes.

    Don't burn yourself out working on it, we're not in any rush and will still be here when it's done. I'm still having fun with ultimate skyrim but will switch over once your build is done. I'm a Sagittarius, not quite sure what that means... Regardless, I do value my sleep. Luckily, all 3 kids were great sleepers, must run in the family!

    Really appreciate the efforts being made on this, going to play the hell out of it. A question, to play oblivion, is the only way to get there the guy on the ship and to pay him?

    Agree with Corpus Immunity Fixer, it's only for an existing problem, not required for new setup with new fixes in place.

    You dropped Voicefile Redirector? MOB Corprus Immunity Fixer keeps popping up on a new game and doesn't stop. Is this really needed? Otherwise, looks good to this point in the guide
