  1. You're not talking about moving the 98 basic texture mods up, correct? Those would be too much. If it's just optimization of the existing, yes, I believe it is a good idea to have it earlier. Makes sense for that to be there for the first test part of the guide
  2. correct, the mod is mostly scripts, not for the game. The outputs go into the file structure and of course, are used by the game. For MO, I downloaded the file and activated it in MO, then created executable for each of the scripts. The extra instructions for MO was to make edits that made the output go to the specified output file structure and then, activate. Sorry I can't help more, I'm not WB competent
  3. Hey there. Are you using Mod Organizer or Wyre Bash? I can help you with the MO as I just completed it.
  4. An oblivion.ini question. Does the game care about the location of the settings in the sections or is it just for our sanity. Reason asking. After running Bethini job, the bDoHighDynamicRange is in the [blurShaderHDR] and not the [blurShaderHDRInterior]. Do I just move it or duplicate it? As well, changed fBrightScale to 1.7500 in [blurShaderHDRInterior], but it also exists in [blurShaderHDR] at 1.5. Do I just remove it in [blurShaderHDR] or change the values to match? Edit: fblurRadius also has a setting in [blurShader] and [blurShaderHDR] with completely different values. So I'm beginning to believe that each section is unique and I should stop checking and just do what I'm told ;)
  5. My Mother in Law hates that song, we love it ;) Finished the build, beautiful visuals. Especially love the rocks! Haven't done the MCM setting yet, but looking forward to a LOTD playthrough, never tried it.
  6. Wow, that's weird, mine every item came in.
  7. Under Miscellaneous Merge Post Installation: Move the following esps to the optional tab in Mod Orgainizer: DSAMG - Greybeard Fix.esp DSAMG - Miraak Music Fixes.esp Make sure ã€DSAMG】Dragon Soul Absorb More Glorious remains active in Left Pane as post merge creation. As sometimes not all the files from this mod are being copied into new merge. I checked and every file that was in the mod was in the merge. What is the history with the note to not deactivate the mod? Was it a one off because everything behaved as expected. Is there a load sequencing issue?
  8. In the merge section, under LANDSCAPES ENVIRONMENT AND CLUTTER MERGE Post Installation: Remove Moss Rocks - Legendary.esp from The Ruffled Feather as it is no longer needed with this merge. This esp is not in the mod as it was not selected in the install instruction Select Option(s) Moss Rocks - Legendary None Next
  9. ~ 11 mods, but who's counting ;). I agree that the name prescript and esp name makes them easy to find in this case but it is the first one and I know I had to reteach myself the sequence of steps to do merges efficiently (been awhile). I remembered the yash2 guide was like that and it was great. Any how, when I got to the second merge, I realized that it was done, so I'm good.
  10. DarkladyLexy, I am going through the merges and I always found that when the mods are listed next to the esps it helps alot to save time to find them and deactivate. Look what I did for Animal Merges in the guide. If I was to do this for the missing one's as I move through the guide, are you ok with that? If not, just tell me no as I am only doing this if it helps. I don't want to mess up your guide!
  11. DarkladyLexy, on this topic, for the crossbows.esp it is to actually remove tags. But as mentioned, there are too many mods at this point and it doesn't allow Wyre Bash to work. Putting them in the idiot check would be perfect but it is not listed as it is a removal of tags, not adding tags. Would you consider adding it there in the guide as I had to write it down to remind myself to do it later.
  12. Cool. It chopped of the mod I needed to bash. I'll do it later, but the instruction said to fix the tags prior to bashing it
  13. I knew there was a 256 esp limit but I didn't know there was a limit on mods for Wyre bash. I was trying to take out the tags for Faction Crossbows but it would not let me. Will I be able to get the numbers down later in the guide or I need to untick a bunch of mods now to let it load correctly?
  14. I love modding Skyrim and following these guides, it's almost therapeutic. But I have to say...this guide is crazy long...lol
  15. Hi, it's called Taking Notes - Journal of The Dragonborn https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48375 You can export and input the journal as well. The import is a bit of a pain because you need to format in XML format but the export works well. There is an ENB "burst hotkey" that you need to disable because it will cause the gave to lag badly..took me awhile to figure it out. Will look for detail and edit this post with it Edit: It's called KeyBruteForce and it happens when you type shift+B. So your writing in your Journal and type "But alas, the maiden....WTF, framerate ZERO?!". So you can just do what they say here. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/585ll8/can_i_completely_disable_some_enb_hotkeys/ In enblocal.ini just set: KeyBruteForce=0
  16. Yes, that makes sense, I've seen some guides that use that strategy. However, I have multiple guide profiles using many of the same mods. Changing the names would cause a different kind of chaos....
  17. thank you for explain that, I was wondering the same thing but was just going to wait to try it first before I asked.
  18. thanks for this info on Baldur's Gate EE. I already had both on GoG but didn't know about getting the serial number codes for the old versions. BTW, to get the codes, the option does not appear in the Gog Galaxy App, just the gog.com Web storefront. Even thought the old versions are not supported by the Big World mod tool, I saw there were some ADnD mod packs that only work in on the legacy edition so was excited to pick them up. I wonder if Icewind Dale EE has this as well? Unfortunately, I got a steam version of it...
  19. And I agree with the instructions you posted since Windows 10 just plain old needs it so to your point, just tell them to install it.
  20. I've seen it cropping up more lately (more windows 10 installs). Keeps happening to me (I'm a slow learner...)
  21. Small recommendation. Add a procedure to check if they have DirectX 9 installed. If not, perform the following installation... Because you don't realize you have an issue until you get the black screen crashes on loading screen after ENB installed. Or add a test after ENB installation and if it fails, do the install procedure...
  22. Glad I could help...Happened to me!
  23. Check if you installed directX first. New windows 10 installations don't have the required old version for ENB to work
  24. Hey Neo, wiped computer and building up all the guides again, using Darth's and DarkLady's guide...they really took off on it from your old one, going to take awhile. However, I still haven't played the 2nd DLC, so I'm going to rebuild per your guide. Wanted you to know I appreciate that you are still keeping it current. I don't remember there being a mod organizer for Witcher 3, looking forward to trying it.
