  1. Yeah my first post was kind of half question and half suggestion. I just leave the pseudo mods at the top, then Cleaned ESMs (folder with all 4 esms), then the optimized textues, and then the Unofficial plugins. It seems to work well like that. Anywho, I was looking at the new changes in the unfinished 2.2.9 guide. I noticed the change in section 2.D with the addition of the pseudo mods and thought "hmm.. that's different. What up with that?" I just like to stay ahead of the game. Thanks for the reply Double You.
  2. Where do the Cleaned Bethesda ESMs and Vanilla Textures optimized by DDSoPT go in relation to the Unofficial plugins and the new pseudo plugins created by MO in the left window pane? Could or should this be added or clarified in the STEP 2.2.9 guide? EDIT: A screen shot would be helpful.
  3. I have a similar issue, a whole mess of NPCs are stuck in the Bannered Mare. Since Im play as an Imperial I use Voice of the Emporer and three of them went out the doors. I think you can use the Harmony spell for the same affect. The rest are still crowded around the door including the carriage driver. I never had this problem with just Run For Your Lives and When Vampires Attack, it actually started after adding Touring Carriages. Are you by any chance using Touring Carriages?
  4. Hey syzygy, here's a tip, hold CTRL and left click all the ENB files and folders (SweetFX etc.). Once they are all selected right click on any one of the selected files and select 'Add to Archive' or '7Zip' from the drop down menu. Now you can create a .zip, .rar, or a .7zip file. Name the file 'ENB Setup' or whatever you want. Save, cut and paste, or drag and drop the file somewhere simple like your desktop. It shouldn't take long to archive it. You can do the same with the Mod Organizer folder, and the Wrye Bash folder however they will take longer to compress. Now you can uninstall and reinstall with no problem and just extract the files back into your Skyrim game folder once you have everything configured and working correctly. The only thing you might have to do after that is make minor changes to MO, to reflect any changes to file or folder paths you may have made if any. EDIT: More advice: After you have created the backups of your ENB, MO, and WB files and folders, and have uninstalled Skyrim, try restarting you computer before reinstalling the game. You may also want to run a registry cleaner like Auslogics or Puran in order to completely remove any of the registry edits left over from the previous Skyrim installation before reinstalling.
  5. Quick and awesome! thanks. Do you have a link to the archive instead of the installer? EDIT: Nevermind found it https://sourceforge.net/projects/modorganizer/files/
  6. The Nexus keeps saying "No servers available right now" prbably due to recent changes. I was wondering if we could get a link to 1.2.5, like the one you put up for 1.2.4.
  7. AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lFY18fdi2I Is anybody listening? Because you really shoould be.
  8. Oh I see you want Metal... And if that didn't rip your face off this is a genre of music known as Digital Hardcore and this is a side project from Alec Empire the king of DH, known as Curse of the Golden Vampire. (very rare) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OfctG98a-A
  9. rootsrat is right, and that barely scratches the surface of what your problem might be and the information you could share to help analyze your problem. Do you have a retail version of the game? Did you follow the STEP Guide to the letter? Are you using Core STEP or Extended STEP? Are you using STEP patches? Are you using the right STEP Patch, i.e. CORE Patch with CORE setup, and Extended Patch with Extended Setup? Did you leave any mods out that may have patches in the STEP Patches? (I bet that's it) What mod installer are you using NMM, MO, WB? How many mods do you have running? What mods are you running? What is your load order? Did you make a Bashed patch? If so, is anything red or orange? What are your skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini settings? If using ENB or just ENBboost, what are your enblocal.ini settings? If using SKSE which version are you using and did you create an INI file for it? Have you cleaned your PC, registry and all, and defragged? (I recommend Puran and Auslogics) Are you or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party? What are the rest of your specs (i.e. HDD or SDD and size, processor type and speed, etc)? How is your Virtual Memory setup (for example is it on another hard drive)? Do you have the proper amount of Virtual Memory allocated? Do you use NVIDIA Inspector or any third party software as suggested by the STEP guide? Are your video card/GPU drivers up to date? Do you have as few as possible other programs running when you play the game? This will give you an idea of things you need to know in order to properly mod a game. Patience and research are key. If you see a wall of text read it. There are at least four good stability and or optimization guides on the Nexus. However if you fully follow STEP Guide 2.2.9 by doing things such as first testing just the Core setup, and using Mod Organizer, you should be good. If worst comes to worst you may need to uninstall, clean pc and registry, restart, and reinstall, especially if you didn't use Mod Organizer, which none of us know if you did because you did not give enough information. The lack of info provided is also why this may seem demeaning, though it is not supposed to, I simply don't know what you know so I am providing some basic information. Post your load order. If using MO, Export to CSV, and post that. Post all four of the INI settings mentioned above. Post your specs, you can find them under System Information. After investigating and doing all of what I've suggested, come back and ask for help, and someone will be glad to (I've been helped a lot on here). Of course by then hopefully you'll have figured out the problem yourself. I feel like it sounds like I'm being snarky, but I really am trying to help. My part is done. Good luck. EDIT: I should have proof read this before posting. YIKES! (fixed)
  10. Rudimentary Peni's Death Church because you need to... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csGR0qs7nWs
  11. Derp, I had to change the name of the DDSoPT optimized vanilla folders. They were the same names as the pseudo mods, so I added OPT to each one (i.e. Dawnguard OPT). The HRTP 1,2, and 3 are still sorting out of order. I'm also a bit confused as to the sprting order between the new pseudo mods, the Cleaned Bethesda ESMs mod (I created according to the STEP Guide), the DDSoPT optimized vanilla texture mods (created following the guide), and all the Unofficial patch mods. If anyone understands what I'm talking about (because I barely do at this point) can you perhaps shed some light on this? Por favor. EDIT: I figured it out!!!! ::
  12. Can someone explain to me what the DG and DB patches that appear at the bottom of my mod list are. What are they for? Where shoould they go? What should I do with them? EDIT: It also puts Hearthfires, HR3, HRT2, and HRT1 at the top in that order, which I'm pretty sure is wrong. Then it puts DG an DB pseudo mods at the bottom along with the the DG and DB patches, which I'm also pretty sure is wrong. Even if I change it manually it reverts back if I hit refresh. Is this just me? I installed like I normally do by extracting the files from the archive into my existing MO folder. It was also nice to have be able to refresh by right clicking.
  13. Where might I find a changelog?
  14. And if that's the case, which it probably is, they probably haven't figures out how to do the same in LOOT.
  15. Aye, those be the ones, I actually thought and still do think they were created by Racemenu, because depending on which custom character I load there will be a different number of corresponding .tri files. The info in the above posts and in some other threads is confusing me. EDIT: HAHAHA Techangel I was typing that as you posted.
  16. So I need some clarification. Am I supposed to run FNIS and then create a Bashed Patch? I've been doing it the other way around. In regards to placement of the FNIS files themselves (I use all 3), in Mod Organizer under the left installed mods panel, I place them at the very bottom just above any Custom Output. Does that sound right? Also agentsmith stated above that he drags and drops the .tri files found in the Overwrite folder into the FNIS Output Folder and no one corrected him, so is that what I am supposed to do? I usuially just delete them or leave them where they are.
  17. They are not automatically added (I mean they don't show up until you run into them). They are all configed by the books found in the Riverwood Trader. Most of the newly added markers are for the individual shops, inns , taverns, and some other buildings. To me the best parts about it are the Blackreach and Soul Cairn Markers. An MCM Menu would be perfect for this mod. I think an MCM menu with all the options the book offers would be preferred, but a simple one that either auto adds the books to the inventory, or opens the books upon exiting the menus would be adequate. You'd want to just have three smple buttons, one for each book, and a note that says only open one at a time. "With the books, I always set almost all of the markers up in groups, as enabled but undiscovered, which makes all of the added secondary" That's what I do as well.
  18. Hey @darqnite, what other two .esp's are you considering replacing EBT with?
  19. No that's good, Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp, Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp, Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.bsa, Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.bsa are all you need. So as long as those files are in the folder you open in explorer under the "Mod Name" panel that's how it should be. Now check under the plug-ins tab under the right panel and make sure the Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp is ticked, and the Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp is NOT ticked. Check under the archives tab in the same panel and make sure BOTH Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.bsa and Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.bsa within Immersive Armors are ticked. Since you are adding this to STEP, it is best to have it installed at the top of the 2.i Clothing and Equipment section. Meaning, have it above aMidianborn Book of Silence in the left "Mod Name" panel. Also because you are running STEP you are probably running the STEP patches. (You might run into problems with this as mentioned in my first reply.) This means you should NOT use LOOT, but USE BOSS which is updated to v3. The you must create a Bashed Patch and run FNIS. You will also want to either start a new game or try a clean save. IA is BIG so the first time you start a game with it added it will take a while to load up and configure itself. You will want to be inside a small room in the game with no followers and no other NPCs at all for that matter. I use the last room in the Hall of the Dead in WHiterun for things like this. When you start you will see in the top left corner "Immersive Armors is now configuring" or something to that affect. ITS NOT DONE. Wait 3 to 5 minutes and you will see a message that says "Immersive Armors is finished". Wait a little just to be sure and Save the game to a NEW save. Exit to menu. Quit to desktop. Start game. PLAY! EDIT: Actually now that I think about it you can use STEP patches with LOOT. Just use LOOT to edit the meta data by clicking the the patch plug-in and loading before whatever the last plug-in in your load order before the Bashed patch under the "Load After" tab. Then open TES5Edit, right click, select none. Tick the STEP Patch, click okay. Wait for it to load. Right click the STEP patch and left click sort masters. Close TES5Edit, make sure the patch is ticked and the backup is not ticked and click okay. Delete the folder created in Overwrite. Done.
  20. Without extracting the BSA which isn't actually necessary and I wouldn't recommend extracting it, there should be 4 files two esp and two bsa, so re-download it, and install making sure it's checked in the mod list and making sure everything is in place in the plugins and archives list,. And then again make sure you untick the Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp in the plug-ins window. Once you have it working take a look at this aMidianBorn Textures For Immersive Armors install it after any IA, IW, or amidian mod. They are loose textures so they will automatically overwrite some of the texturesin the IA bsa, and they look much better. You may find a couple nude NPC's, There is a Battle Born running around Whiterun who should be arrested for indecent exposure.
  21. Nevermind it's fixed it was a problem with the masterlist, it's been updated.
  22. Anyone running LOOT getting this now? Error: Failed to calculate the load order. Details: Cyclic interaction detected between plugins "HearthFires.esm" and "Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp".
  23. Where do you live? I'll come to your house and mod your Skyrim for money!
  24. If you right click IA in MO and Open in Explorer, what do you see?
