pack Dreadflopps Modular patches

https://forum.step-project.com/topic/1957-installing-asis-and-skyre-with-some-additional-stuff/ That's a super nostalgic link, this was the instructions I first followed before the advent of the Memory Patch, you could say that this was the spiritual predecessor to what I am doing now. Its a lot more now.... The only mod from that lot that I want to install but just can't get working is mighty magick. If anyone can get mighty magick to work with our overhaul, please do so and post the patch! -

@thaiusmle I have used harvest overhaul with this pack, as personally I sometimes don't like having to spam harvest everything when I am exploring. Install it and there is a setting in its MCM that makes harvest amounts rare (not vanilla, the one above vanilla). The pack also works fine with hunterborn as well, if you use Hunterborn, remember to edit Professions to decrease time added by skinning to 0, or it will take twice as long to skin anything. Probably will add these as optional extras later. Problem with HO is it does make alchemy more lucrative, so if you abuse it, it WILL break the game. Hunterborn doesn't break the game, makes it harder actually as food is even more harder to come by (You Hunger has come a LONG way now and is super), I would decrease the meat harvested to the option 1 above vanilla so you don't end up with too much meat. The only issue I've had with hunterborn is with the default options, you can't get back your arrows! But if you turn on the "open inventory" option, you can skin/take meat without going through the hunterborn processes which makes the mod less immersive. -

Yes SkyRe_Main.esp is essential to make SkyRe work, so use my replacement esp. You need to run the jar file with java installed, you don't need to make an executable. What I do is manually install the reproccer/ASIS/etc stuff directly into the Skyrim directory rather than installing it via MO. Just insure that in the future if you are updating the XML files or proccer files, like the ASIS ini files, they are located here and its probably better to just replace the files rather than install these updates via MO. This will ensure you are using the versions of ini or xml files you intend to use. After installing the proccers you need to create a shortcut to the respective jar file from within MO, so that the proccers know of your MO mod list! The order you have ASIS, NPC enchant fix, reproccer shouldn't matter. I usually run them individually with the others deactivated to ensure best functioning of the proccer process. Also remember to activate the Pre-reproccer type files and deactivate the post-reproccer files before you start the proccer processes. I have been told that: Tes5edit doesn't work with any of the proccer esps and these esps should not be edited via Tes5edit. These were invented in the days before Tes5edit, sort of like Snip and just doesn't follow Tes5edit rules. For this reason I don't merge SkyRe patches to ensure maximum compatibility. -

@phryxolydian To get that list you right click on the "File" section (on the top left, left most column) of wrye bash and you can list the mods. You'll need to cut and paste list after you have the window with the list pop up. (On vacation in Palau at the moment.) -

@cstarkey42 I tried that mod a long time ago and it simply didn't work sometimes (sorry no better details than that), it was more problems than it was worth. Having said that, I haven't tried it for a long time. So, no reason why you can't try it in your game. As for Death Alternative.... It actually works amazingly well with "Sexlab Defeat", Defeat just uses DA to initiate the after bleedout scenes. You can turn off the rape(!?) stuff and adjust it so that it goes straight to Post-Assault events, there is a Rob Event, Escape, Left for Dead, Defeated Event and there will be Faction specific events in future. These Events goes off without a hitch unlike the original DA stuff (You can use these in addition to the DA stuff if you want). Its too bad that you have to negotiate that webpage with its seedy advertising and you have to turn off the rape stuff on your own. There will be small parts of the game that will NOT work with ANY DA type mod, like if you are locked in a room and you die... well if you spawn outside that room... that is going to break things.... you'll need to use common sense and pretend you are actually dead and reload instead. All my characters aren't naked in my game because my wife frequents my room and she would think me weird (well... even more weird)... but when I was testing Defeat, and trying to turn off all the rude stuff.... the rape scene went off with the Volume up loud, which got my wife's attention.... "... just testing out silly mods..." I said nervously..... This will NOT ever make it into the pack! -

@Kuldebar What do you think of it? Are the "fireballs" better sounding? What about the other sounds that AOS doesn't cover? -

@Asyrin I am on vacation so sneaking a quick reply here, great to hear you are enjoying it. Before leaving for vacation I had a level 40 character, started from the very beginning with our pack and it was totally balanced and challenging throughout without it becoming impossible at any stage. Cyrodillic weapons should work! They are from SkyRe itself! Not including mesh/textures I have running over 500 mods at the moment :) Stable as can be! -

Yes it should. @Sartho I am not sure which mods you were merging to get that error in Tes5edit. I make a point of NOT merging SkyRe related patches as its only caused me issues in the past. @Everyone I have stopped using NPC protected redux (again!), as unless its patched big time against a ton of mods, I am still getting the occasional essential quest NPC dying on me where as I never had a problem with Deadly Dragon. I understand that with DD there are the very occasional NPC that should die that can't and that can cause problems but I can just disable the feature via the MCM and reload and that fixes it. The straw that broke the camel's back was when the Blade woman that takes me to the very first Dragon Burial Mount just kept dying on me and the quest breaking as a result. -

@asyrin Also if you use loot, the order is correct, so it isn't mentioned. -

@Asyrin Are you using High Level Enemies Hardcore? When you meet some spawns of the same level as you... you wouldn't last 2 power attacks from 2 handed weapons. Not every enemy is same level as you. Eat and Sleep should be fine. You will have a more food available at any one time though. But it should be fine. -
@kuldebar I don't use it any more of course, but the mod monster you are, I recommend you try it and have a run from the Standing Stones, Riverwood to Whiterun, its pretty amazing. I never heard of the game bloat issues (could be true), but it did have faction problems I think. I would say that pre-sheeson rumors need to be taken with a grain of salt. With no support I can't recommend it to anyone.

Does the aura/glow changes alter performance in anyway?

Serenity uses ELFX, no problems with RL? I will give it a try tonight. Nice that it usually the same set of recommended mods as Seasons so trying it out is easy. I've no problems whatsoever with the new ENB and Seasons.

I too use those exact mods including the ELE torches plugin. Nice to know. Its not a little claustrophobic now in the banner mare? -
You are making Flappy for Skyrim? Reviving SkyBirds? Speaking of SkyBird, great mod too bad it has no support. The ambiance was so much better with this mod installed.
-
I used to be an absolute SOMBER fanatic, then one day I got tired of the color palette it was using, very sepia & warm and switched over to Seasons ENB which has super performance and is much bluer and cool. So does this NEW Somber use the same color palette?

Looks nice but how does it play with ELE and Relighting Skyrim? or for others ELFX? @Kuldebar You my friend are a mod monster! -
Obvious that MO is using a different set of ini files. You can manually move the ini files from your working folder (where ever that may be, default its in the Document/My Games/Skyrim folder in to your Modorganizer/profiles/ folder.

Apart for solitude, I like Rusty Windows a LOT more, for Solitude I thought that visible windows blended better with the surrounding brick work.

@Tannin Just to keep things in perspective, and has to be said, you're awesome and MO is the best. Skyrim Modding would be so much of a chore without your mod. Thank you. -

@gpthree I use 5 mods from this one of my favorite authors. I will give this alternative a go in my next new game. @sartho Those ERSO should work fine with my project, its in my order because I am testing them.
