pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
Garfink replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
As for the OBIS Morrowloot support files that I made last night, I have not tested these at all, they are not balanced for difficult as yet. I have no idea at the moment how this mod will interact with the other spawning mods, in particular RE, ASIS and SIC and HLE - Hardcore, I am sure I can get it to balance. Just a warning. It is currently NOT a part of the pack till I am convince that its actually balanced in terms of both difficulty and economically. It may well be added.... just need to test it first. @blattgeist I don't use Cutting room floor, hope others can help you out there! -

No to both for the medium term, definitely worth trying out for yourself though. Death Alternative is interesting I just don't think there is enough support for it in the community as yet. I would be interested if there were a lot more different alternatives than what there is now. In any case not for the pack for now, I will tested it further though after we reach Version 1.00. As for the populated series a definite NO. Adds nothing to the game except more loot and random fights around every corner. It was totally immersion breaking for me. Radiance, random encounter and extended encounters that ARE in the pack serves a similar purpose but less in your face. Also the game is IMPOSSIBLE to balance with populated dungeons/forts installed as the distribution is too uneven and hence ASIS is applied unevenly. If you have your ASIS settings on default and with Random Encounter on, With Populated dungeon, you can literally get 300+ drauger in a dungeon and even worst 50 falmer in a single encounter! But the game is fine else where.... Unlike OBIS, which adds variety, populated series just adds more and in this ASIS does a much better job and allow for much finer control. I see no need to add both. Excuse the confusion: Here is the load down. Has nothing to do with LOOT. - Just use Loot to order your mods first and edit metadata to order them as needed. - If there are any misbehaving mods you can manually move them into the correct order AFTER you run loot. - Remember to add -noboss to the various proccer command lines. - For consistent results, I recommend having all proccer esp deactivated when running DSR, ASIS, Reproccer & NPC EF. I often get odd Java errors when I have other proccer esp activated while doing the proccer-ing. This is not a rule, just a suggestion. If you find you don't need to do this don't bother. 1) Just WarmongerArmory_LeveledList.esp 2) No, I made this for myself and its completely unnecessary :). Just follow the instructions Dreadflopp have made on the Wiki. Since WAFR doesn't add new items, morrowloot should remove those items added by WAFR. 3) Yes. Mine is a replacement based off this version. You're most welcome. These are patches Dreadflopp made: Immersive Weapons - CCOR patch.esp High Level Enemies - CCOR patch.esp These should be a part of the CCOR Skyre Patches CCOR_Frostfall_Patch.esp CCOR_IA7_Patch.esp CCOR_IW_Patch.esp CCOR_aMidianBorn_Patch.esp I am pretty sure this is from the SIC page: CCO_SIC_Patch.esp Hmmm, complicated... I don't think it has ANYTHING to do with the XML version. Ensure that boss isn't running. CCF PreReProccer Patch.esp needs to be below the preproccer patch NOT where LOOT places it, this esp misbehaves for me and I can't get it automatically placed after the preproccer patch via editing the metadata in LOOT. SO my solution is to run loot and just remember to drag this into the correct place in MO afterwards before you run BASH or any proccers. Ensure in MO that you have the correct skyproccer(s) are taking priority as many reproccer patches add their own versions. My solution to this mess is to always install the Skyproccer folder manually in the Skyrim directory and never through MO. So I know what is running. Also try to disable the proccer esps. ie. ASIS.esp, Dual Shealth Redux.esp, NPCEnchantfix.esp reproccer.esp before running any proccers. -

Well... its partly because of what you said... that most of the equipment are weak... well its NOT as I found out... But thankfully only a few of the bandit group will be affected to any extent (some more than others). Good news is most of those in Redone will not be affected at all as they are mostly mages. There are some named weapons in Redone that I can't get rid of without breaking stuff, I am assuming these are rare... I suggest NOT picking them up if you find them. Enjoy testing it.... tell me how it goes.... I have installed it myself and will be testing too. -

FMR doesn't need patches unless you are using SkyRe. You don't need to mess with the MCM, the default is balanced. I have added OBIS Redone support, but this is experimental as I am not sure how to get rid of the BOSSES' uber weapons and some armors. So there may be some NON-Morrowloot items in this version. I recommend NOT picking up the uber equipment if you find any (pretend its cursed or something!) As for just OBIS (not redone), it should be 100% morrowlooted, but I am not sure how powerful all those "named" shields are... I am assuming the are all steel quality... but they may not be. So tell me if they are and I will remove the problem shields. I don't want to remove the shields as they add a lot of the flavor of this mod. (I did this because I too love OBIS. We'll see if it works or not, as I have NOT tested this in-game yet!, Must sleep or my wife will kill me.) REMEMBER TO install the OBIS Pack for Duel Shealth Redux if you are using it. -

I can have it look, but those bandits have a specific look and I will need to redress those I take high level equipment from and that is a lot of work. It's not as simple as taking away stuff. But I will have another look for you tomorrow. Bed time, it's 2:45am where I am. -

@cstarskey I am pretty sure that some of the higher level obis bandits have some uber equipment. Remember that with morrowloot there is like 2 set of daedric, no dragonbone stuff, very few ebony, glass gear. Orc and elvish is not as rare but certainly no where near as common as vanilla. It doesn't take much to render the rarity system pointless. Remember there is only one dragon born and if you find one of the rare item, that's all it takes to render the system mute. Where would the morrowloot excitement be if you find that supposed one of a kind glass gear on regular bandits everywhere. I would still recommend one or the other, not both philosophies. -

I have made some more edits of the ASIS automatic perk ini file and will have Dreadflopp upload it asap, I have added a few more exclusions that will get rid of a script spam that causes CTDs consistently. namely: xxxMagicSneak xxxSNETouchOfCalamity xxxSNEArcaneAssassin -

No. OBIS can't be made to be compatible with Morrowloot. But if you don't use Morrowloot but all the other mods in the pack, the balance should be fine and then you can use OBIS. You take away OBIS's high level equipment and you will just have plain old bandits which defeats the purpose of OBIS! -
ACCEPTED Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM (by Brumbek)
Garfink replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Terrible... I am not exactly using STEP for cave textures... I am using SMC, but I can say that the cave textures are now TERRIBLE with the new SMIM cave meshes! Rolling back my SMIM version meshes for now fixed it. -

Okay I am going to recommend a mod that is a MUST have for me. Its not going to be for everyone. Get "Take Notes" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48375/? It really have taken my game to another level of immersion. Everyday in game during camp or in an inn, I will make Journal entries, really adds a lot of roleplaying into the game and helps you develop your character. I have always envied those people making Let's Plays on youtube because they are forced to Roleplay all the time and I have found it difficult to forget that I am playing a computer game sometimes. This mod just makes me stop and remind myself to keep in character and help the game turn into a story telling experience. Highly Recommended for those Roleplayers out there. The mod is amazingly well implemented and very easy to use. -
Ramifications of BSA Extraction in Mod Organizer

Quote: @Garfink: I had such a button in the very first version that had the potential mod order warning but doubleyou convinced me to remove it. Don't know which thread that was in. @tannin Oh there was such a button... would've eliminated the need for this thread.... -
SRLE + SkyRe: working with the Reproccer WIP

You can have a look at this mod for inspiration: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43967/? It merged the Enchanting Awaken Tree with the SkyRe Enchanting Tree successfully! If it makes you feel any better, I for one would use and endorse your mod. I too don't like the inconsistencies with the SkyRe tree and WAFR and the rest. -

@Asyrin Well... I don't use much of REGS, STEP: Extended, nor have I used SPERG/TTL. BUT I doubt that you'll have problems as long as you don't use EBT, Footprint & Wet & Cold. You have been warned. (If you must use these just use ONE of them!) I don't use REG because I don't think adding "ambient" shops and NPCs that does nothing just isn't for me and my complicated load-order, one that I am constantly adjusting. Don't get me wrong, I use some of REG but choose not to install some of the "decorative" mods, like them towns that don't do anything. I have a 3950 clocked to 4.5 and a Titan and have 32Gb of RAM, probably not that much better than your mobo in reality with Skyrim anyway, no problems at all. -

Don't merge the CCOR_IA7_Patch into the bash patch. I have merged the following patches together safely: CCOR_Frostfall_Patch.esp CCO_SIC_Patch.esp CCOR_IA7_Patch.esp CCOR_IW_Patch.esp CCOR_aMidianBorn_Patch.esp Immersive Weapons - CCOR patch.esp High Level Enemies - CCOR patch.esp -

SRLE + SkyRe: working with the Reproccer WIP
Garfink replied to ipmlj's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
@ipmlj I am seeing an immediate problem replacing SkyRe's smithing perk tree with Kryptopyr, you will no longer be able to craft dreamcloth and break several other perks on the on other perk trees. Possibly you will mess with a few of the other perks that are SkyRe exclusive (those in the middle, like the gold/silver ones and the dreamcloth one). I think the perks around the edge, which coincide with those from Kryptopyr's mod are fine to replace/remove. You will need to merge the perk trees to make it work as it should with SkyRe. -

@thaiusmle What phyrxolydian said. @Everybody I have fixed a couple of errors in my immersive weapon.esp replacement so go and update that please I have also added a fix for the CCOR_IA7_Patch.esp for those that are using SkyRe and Gruffys' CCOR Patches for SkyRe, you can download that from my morrowloot support page too: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53771/? -
