  1. @cstarkey42 I have noticed that ALL autosaves and liable to ctd intermittantly. No matter which one I use. I have had no trouble with Autosave Manager. As for DA, it won't be in the pack anytime soon, as it is purported to conflict - script-wise - with Duel Combat as it uses the same triggers, so it may not fire off as intended, I am just playing with it now for the fun of it. I haven't noticed any problems using it with Duel, maybe its because I removed EBT, Footprint, WetCold? I seem to have a crap load less script random-ass ctd issues after that. I even looked at that Sanguine Debauchery mod that is suppose extended it... it is a very impressive undertaking, more so than even Death Alternative or even Tony's UDE.... its massive.... but very very very raunchy, too bad the author of this expansion went over to the darkside of the nexus. What he could've done with his skills! As for the merging, great to know those are good to merge, I am at "FE" again with my load-order!
  2. Maybe maybe, I will put it on the to test list. I am not sure if its compatible with the "Classic Level Up" mod I am using, which is also triggered at sleep.....
  3. Tony and I go back a long way! I have used UDE in previous playthoughs. But its pretty non-modular and won't work at all with MMO. I use Autosave manager as well as should everyone. I have it to save after combat and discovery and also every 15 minutes or so. I also found the UDE experience vastly different from the vanilla and its more "diablo-esk" due to its random encounter engine. Which is neither good nor bad, just different. With MMO, its more vanilla how vanilla should've been for the hardcore fan. I use follower mods as they are usually more interesting most of the time, I currently have Mirai and the girl from interesting NPC that you find in a cage in Brittlesomething pass and they are quite interesting, pun intended. But I am more than happy to see them die and never set them to essential as that just takes away the "Risk". So using DA and I am okay to see them die, especially given that there are like a zillion followers to choose from anyway. Mirai is great fun, but she has this annoying habit of chucking this area affect type ice spell that hurts me and with DA, I am feeling more and more like a follower myself! A taste of my own medicine! Edit: No no, it is super script heavy, possibly the heaviest scripted mod on the nexus, doesn't play well with a lot of other scripted mods running together. I have tried it. If you ask Tony for his load-order, you'll find it fairly spartan (pun intended) nothing like ours.
  4. Just for reference or suggestions here is my load order at the moment: Active Mod Files: I have just tested another 5 hours with OBIS Redone and Death Alternative mod, OBIS is surprisingly working quite well, I have the max bandit settings on 2 for both interior and exterior, haven't encountered any impossible situation, still can die in almost every battle against groups if I am not careful, I am at level 33 at the moment. I think I am happy with the OBIS settings as it is, but I will try others just to compare in my next session. My changes to the loot prices have worked and the extra loot doesn't cause problems with morrowloot any more. As for Death Alternative, I am enjoying it, it does reduce reloading saves somewhat, I am playing a Conjurer, Destruction Battlemage and so I have 2 summons and 2 followers (could do with just 1 follower but I am testing followers now) at the moment, so they have manage to save me every time so far from actually "dying", I have bleedout several times already. Not "dying" means I haven't had any of the "after death" alternative happen as yet, so I can't comment on those. BUT I do like not having my "story" disjointed due to reloads, I am in the same difficult situation when I return from the "bleedout" state (like I am when I reload a save game), but I didn't have to reload and the 25% penalty to health regeneration is fair. I like being rescued by my followers, they are pretty awesome. Sometimes I save them, sometimes they save me. I am also finding that I am less tempted to save the game in the midst of a difficult fight, as "dying" is sort of interesting now and doesn't mean the end, this also adds to the immersion for me. I don't think this makes the game more or less difficult, just different. I think its a keeper. I definitely recommend iNeeds over RND now, the follower needs food thing makes a HUGE difference to the rarity of food and there is extra cost to multiple followers now, its almost like paying them a wage in food. I also like the extra touch option of feeding the horse as well. Not to mention that iNeeds is compatible with Death Alternative whereas RND is not.
  5. Don't fret, here is what you need to do.... its a bother but its the only way: Disable everything BUT STEP and run ASIS, ensure ASIS is actually working. Its not going to be Java that causes the problems, but I have noticed that the previous version of Java seem to work better with the Proccer, but the new Java seems faster... in any case I am using the current version of Java 64bit with no issues. Disable the mods in batches and run ASIS, remember to use my ini files. Once you get to a batch that causes the Java error you are close to your answer. Its annoy but I have had to troubleshoot like this before. Its usually an ODD mod or a PATCH that is causing a problem.
  6. Yeah, you need to clean it, but the Navmeshes have never caused an issue in my game.
  7. I have had proccer problems with merged patches, try without these to see if these are the problem and try to single out the patch that is causing the issue.
  8. How many mods are you guys merging? I have found merging some mods and patches causes problems big time. So I am careful when I do it and do it in small groups. For example, if you merge the Better Book Cover compatibility patches I get a CTD the moment I pick up a book that gives you skills. My suggestion is to do merging in small groupings and test before doing a huge merge and for simple convenience I try not to merge mods/patches that are being constantly updated for simple ease of use. @csstarkey42 Quote: "There are 174 ITMs and 50 UDRs", don't sound like a well fleshed out mod to me. Sounds like the sort of mod I'll like though. Maybe track it and look back later. Sounds like there is a script issue that the author don't know how to fix.
  9. I've NEVER had a problem with Corners of Skyrim, its been in my load order since the beginning. Go ahead, its super safe. It doesn't add much but what it adds is very atmospheric and very well done. There are new followers but they are rather "generic" mercenary types, its the camps that are very pretty.
  10. Don't install Warmonger Armory (still buggy or if you like naked necromancers...) and OBIS/OBIS Redone (both of which is not in the guide, unless you like playtesting.)
  11. Did I upload that file to the shared folder? If not then I think I am using my own one. @CSStarkey42 Good to hear, hope you'll start playing soon. Just went from level 27 to 30 tonight. I have noticed that when you hit benchmark levels like level 30... monsters get a crap ton load harder all of a sudden. Got one shot-ed from a Bandit Piferer (the 1st one I have seen in this game) with a crossbow... had to use summons to distract him. Tough bastard. I am using the OBIS at the moment with max outdoor and indoor spawns set to 2 and random spawns on. No extra indoor spawns. I just got a set of snow bear armor from a bandit at level 30, which is a pretty good set of armor... probably shouldn't be there... I am not sure what "snow bear armor" is made from... if its just leather with snow bear fur and steel, then its fine. Anyone know?
  12. @cstarkey42 I didn't remove those jars and paintings, I just lowered their price 20 times so they don't affect game balance. Use my obisdb if you are using the Dragonborn DLC, its in the OBIS only file. Interesting mod, but with the mods I have already installed I am happy with the food economy. Does amidianborn content addon need messing with... I don't remember! Its all blurring together! I just had a look at my amdianborn content addon and it doesn't seem to need messing with... I am not sure if this is because I fixed already or it was like this before! Growing senile!
  13. @hellanios Not for the pack, but for when I get a wife in-game, yes. As for Stealth Kills for Followers, no, I like to do the killing myself. :)
  14. @hellanios I had a look at Storefront, great idea, too bad I have never gotten married in the game yet... Doesn't seem to break anything with the pack, so having it shouldn't be an issue. As for Real Estate, I am not so sure about, it adds another form of income into the game and that is probably going to weaken the economy changes I have made. So not recommended for the pack. BUT having said that, its an interesting mod.
  15. I have updated OBIS Redone only (sorry for those that only use OBIS, its a lot of work to support both at the same time.) I have found that there are a TON of loot added by OBIS and especially OBIS Redone that is way overpriced. I have brought these down to Morrowloot acceptable levels without removing them, as these I think add flavor to the OBIS Bandits and can be collectible for those that want to find all these in-game. I am still testing, so more changes are likely. As for the the SkyRe_Craftingfix.esp, it is a remanant of the old Balbor and Steelsoul SkyRe ReProccer Project and it is obsolete. So don't bother installing it and we will update the Wiki. Although adding doesn't break anything, so for those that have it install don't worry too much about it.
  16. @thaiusmle Yes, my replacement SkyRe_Main.esp file is based of this new patch and includes all these fixes as a result. No problems with the pack. @smile44 Nor did I meant that defensively, although rereading it did seem rather! I am tired of (some) Requiem fanboys making sly uninformed comments everywhere, like it was God's blessed Gospel. Not belittling the author of that mod in anyway, it is a lot more than I could do. Also tired of comparisons when there isn't need, sure there is overlap but how can there not be overlap, why should there not be more choices, especially when these choices are free? Thanks for the compliment, its much appreciated. Thank you. Sorry to come across with such abruptness. As for that debatable flaw... there is no debate, its there. Fun till 40'ish then its all down hill from there. Its a fact. Sure it makes the Dragonborn feel powerful but at the cost of gameplay longevity? @hellanios I have never tried those mods, yet... @everybody Just some prelim testing of OBIS, my quick and dirty replacements isn't enough, there is a TON of junk the mod adds to the loot that is totally nuts! There are "heirlooms" and "plates" and stuff like this that is valued over 1000gps!!! Why on earth did the author add these I don't know. I think they give some life to the bandits, variety in the loot but no thought to balance. I will see if I can keep these in the game but make them worth the junk prices they should've had. I am fixing it now.... standby!! Don't install Warmonger Armory for now. There is a Naked Mage/Necromancer bug that needs to be tracked down before use. Rather distracting.
  17. You can use SPERG or SkyRe or Resplendent Racials or ASIS or any number of mods in this pack in Requiem? Nope. How about Aurora merged with SkyRe? Nope. Totally different. You don't have to have a leveled world, you can if you want with this pack. The game isn't tough at the beginning and a breeze in the end like Requiem, its balanced all the way through... the list goes on. You'll have to go through this thread to see why we've made the decisions we have. This is in no way inspired by Requiem, indeed if anything it was inspired by what I don't like about Requiem.
  18. 1) I use STEP and only some of SRLE and Falskaar, Moon & Star, Wyrmtooth, Corners of Skyrim as far as REGS type mods are concern, then its our pack, I have also followers inigo, vilja, iNPC, ICNPC, arrissa and mirai installed. I use the SkyRe parts of the module. 2) No problems at all, I haven't had that Frostfall script too slow error since uninstalling EBT, footprint and wet/cold. I am still using freeze/burn effect mod with no problems though. With these 3 mods install, I can get repeatable CTDs in many big fights. The only super intensive mod that is in the pack that could be disable via the MCM is resplendent racial's NPC powers, so if you are troubleshooting I recommend disabling this first after you have install our pack. I haven't had issues, but this is where I would start if I did have issues. Pretty darn stable I'll say, my save games during testing has mods added/deleted all over the place and even then I don't have CTDs. I highly recommend the economy mods at the top too, these are an integral part of the Rebalance project too.
  19. You will need to uninstall EBT, Footprints and Wet and Cold to get this stable. There are quite a lot of scripted stuff in this pack and there is almost no chance that it will be stable with these 3 mods installed. I would install everything and make sure its working first and if you MUST, add ONE of these 3 mods back and see. I recommend Footprints of the three as it actually have gameplay value. It helps you pin point invisible opponents added by Resplendent Racial. I have troubleshooted and playtested this through 160+ levels, solving many many many CTD and game-breaking causes. It is so much more advanced that the other overhaul guides its not funny. The size and scope of pack is so large and so beyond Morrowloot that we have toyed with the idea of renaming it.
  20. I am in Hong Kong, the card needs a new heatsink and fan but should still be working methinks. Great card, raw power.
  21. Yeah, I mean that someone that is a Skyrim Addict around here, that is still running a 1Gb card. Sounds harsh.... could be fun though.
  22. Me too, totally dislike the odd floor tiling of Solitude, too new and too regular to be real. I will try Windhelm on your recommendation.
  23. @Kudebar A common theme in all your posts... You really need to upgrade your PC. I would send you my old 580 GTX ultra with 1.5Gb RAM if you were nearby! @statmonster Is it devastating to die now? I am worried that in a "modded tougher" Skyrim it maybe better to die then lose your equipment. Or is it exceptable.
  24. Using this for our Morrowloot pack, great mod, love the realistic pricing, more places to get off and now even more flexibility.
  25. @statmonster Its amazing how well this mod works huh? Can't wait to playthrough with a character with a conscience!
