  1. Also, has anyone else had trouble using external edit? It was working for me fine until one day it stopped working. Message from XExternalEditor is "RuntimeException: Edit time not found in HTML document!"
  2. Truly humbled, thanks to you for getting me started in Skyrim modding with the original STEP! I have literally learned the CK, TES5Edit, and virtually every tool stemming from that one act of reading and this site. One day soon! v2.2.1 will be fairly bare-bones but with all the awesome work Neovalen's done we just need to implement some Semantic stuff to catalog all the beautiful customization and then we can merge them. :D Again, humbled. To all: Guide has been sufficiently stylized I believe with CSS. Let me know what you think!
  3. I haven't had any trouble with the mod myself, besides this texture which was DDSOpt not W&C.
  4. Yet another one: effects/gradients/gradsteamthin.dds turns white steam into black steam. Not sure I trust gradsteamthick either but not sure where to find that one in game.
  5. I used to have a friend that would blurt that out at any public gathering just for fun... :hurr:.Key word: "used to" :PBurned![video=youtube]http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWaLxFIVX1s
  6. That bristlecone pine looks amazing. Love it.

  8. Guys, question for formatting. I can use tags as techangel suggested to shorten those up, but as the list expands and contracts it's going to cover different areas. Some lines are also quite long and would wrap. You can shrink the TOC by clicking [hide] at the top to read the whole section if it's covered... Is it worth fixing? If so, is there any way to use the same format for all pre's rather than do it for each and every one?
  9. Bukakke? I'm not sure TC would approve since he's the creator in the middle of it all.[video=youtube]http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNkGbTuGHd0 Fixed that for you.

  11. I'm planning to fix the run off text when I get a chance (real life kicking in - possibly tonight). I think UNP (with my selected mods) has more realism than vanilla/cbbe/adec/etc. Also UNP/UNPB is very widely supported even by mods such as Immersive Armors, etc. ASG fixes things that Smart Souls didn't (such as the soul shout). Not using TPC allows me more control and since TPC is not being updated as much anymore, I got rid of it. Skyrim: 10.1GB Mod Organizer: ~24 GB (I do have some mods I'm testing for inclusion as well on top)
  12. I recently tried all three companion mods: TMTM + LIAT + BSORO My thoughts are as follows: BSORO has conflicts with multiple other mods (any mod that changes the bards in any way). Merge patches are a must if using this one. LIAT I found added WAY too many people to the point where I couldn't move half the time... busy is one thing but... The animations were seemly random and there was a large % of women compared to men... which I found odd. TMTM worked well, however unlike the default (soft) music I found it to be rather lively/loud making me wonder where it was all coming from (i.e. wanted to search for a bard band or something)... so that was a little immersion breaking for me.
  13. Investigating the dialogue, the Pelagius Wing is cleaned by the staff once a year to dust for cobwebs only. If the staff feels it is so creepy they only dust it once a year I doubt they will have all the candles and fires going.
  14. Sounds like a good candidate to test... wet and cold vs get snowy.
  15. Ditto, and updating my guide for the next 10 years... (and seeing what broke!)
  16. Updated EBT to 3.0b and Better Skill and Quest Books to 2.0 per updates today.
  17. Bethblog PC: On Tuesday, February 5th, Dragonborn will be available on Steam, including the English, French, Italian, Spanish and German versions of the content.
  18. I will take a look later. :) Regarding SKSE - The pre-requisites section states to not install the script files (i.e. still manually install the rest) then provides instructions later for installing those through MO.
  19. That's the boxes. Neovalen, you can set those to a fixed width. <pre style="width: xxx;">blah blah blah</pre>Thanks for the tip I'll check it out a little later today.
  20. Yes because 1.2.6 made yet another change. If it was no longer required I would have removed it. Think I actually did for a short while.
  21. Pelagius Wing - Unlit Candles Do you consider silly how the Pelagius Wing, in the Blue Castle, has every candle and torch lit, even though no one goes there? Then, welcome. This little mod swaps every lit candle with their unlit versions, and deletes the warm embers in the chimney. Remeber to bring some light with you if you're using some ENB or mod to make interiors darker. A simple yet effective immersion mod.
  22. Discussion thread: Dawnguard Rewritten - Arvak by Oriius Wiki Link Tired of Bethesda's plastic skeletal horse? Our little demon horse is a bit of a shambles; textures and meshes which are incompatible with one another, a missing alpha channel (which you could tell was supposed to be there just by looking at the model), and an cube map that makes it resemble an action figure. Arvak Reborn features new textures and an altered mesh for improved compatibility. Arvak Reborn: now with 100% less action figure. Comparisons:Vanilla -> Undead (Main File) -> Atronach (Optional) -> Gamejam (Optional) -> Soul Cairn (Optional) These are all the "Extreme-Definition Textures"(i.e. 2048) which I wouldn't call extreme personally... can you believe vanilla is only 512? I highly recommend this one. Obviously "Soul Cairn" is the closest to Vanilla.
  23. Not a problem z, figured I'd post in that forum because the other guide type stuff (like mega modded skyrim) was at. :)
