  3. Achieve That will definitely be going into the load order soon. As a side note, the Author of Guard Dialogue Overhaul sent me a PM asking about my changes/merging with the USKP. He contested some things and I sent him some constructive feedback. He is considering making some of the changes in his next version. More on that as it develops.
  4. SRO is the most complete and highest quality large texture pack for Skyrim. You would have to pry it from my cold dead computer before I personally would go without it. :)
  5. Regarding All In One Face:Â Â 5.0b is the latest GLOBAL version for the mod for UNP. The author just mislabeled it 5.0a UNP and never fixed it... note that in 4.0 A = CBBE and B = UNP. Â Â In any case you should download and use 4.0b package ONLY hence the parens. No need for the Dawnguard package because per my special instructions we're getting rid of the ugly bat face. Regarding ps2: Â Â Yeah, skeletons will cause you CTD all the time if you get them wrong... very critical portion. Regarding ps3: Â Â Fixed. Regarding Hotkeys: Â Â It's already in the changelog as a note but thats a bug with SKSE 1.6.6... simply save character then reload save and use console command "showracemenu". All should work fine after that. For all mods using SKSE it requires a save and reload to start registering keystrokes.
  6. I haven't actually TRIED the new one in game yet... but I know for sure that doesn't happen with the old version and SR. To all: I've updated everything EXCEPT the USKP now. Will see how far I get but I should get done before the evening is out. Updating for the new USKP slowly in increments, please be patient. I both hate and love USKP updates...

  9. Did you remove the SKSE tweak? Only thing I can think of (that fixed my Whiterun)... As for the Helgen Keep CTD... tweak down the interior ini setting: [General] iLargeIntRefCount=262144 -> something like 100000. I've seen this from one or two people. I really hate ini tweaks sometimes... works for some but not all.

  11. Now that I've sorted out the crash problem (damned SKSE tweak) I have done some more mod evaluations and tweaked the guide accordingly (removing 2 STEP mods). Playtesting a bit before I go into the next sections I want to work. Damned stable now even with SLI disabled (to fix SLI bugs) I'm at 60fps 100% of the time so very happy with that. I have a list of ~100 mods I need to evaluate yet for inclusion, obviously they will not ALL make it. Dragonborn coming in about a week... will see how much I can get done before that. ----- Did a quick look at SkyRe towards the end of the night just to check it out... ReProccer is nice but doesn't catch everything (obviously). I found the physics to be a bit buggy at times (when I died my body went flipping under the ground... or flying). Might be a problem with the combat or ai module. I'll try just the base module next time. Still haven't made my decision on this one. I should shoot an email over to Gopher to see what portions he is using.
  12. Reverted to Vanilla - New Game - CTD.Tried disabling SLI... CTD. CPU %/Temp - VRAM/Temp - etc all good. I'm almost out of options and it's in the SAME DAMNED PLACE every time... ug... I'll see if I can come up with something. I did a quick experiment - loaded up full SR save - walked to the crash location.. Papyrus log is EMPTY after the initialization junk. So nothing is spamming hey look at me! .... Another experiment: loaded up that same save... walked AROUND the ritual stone (i.e. to the back side) and no CTD.... it's just that one part of the road. EDIT: I fixed it... I don't even know how. Loaded up my problem save... avoided the area for a short while... noted BLACK textures on certain objects that were fine previously. SAVED so I could find the problem texture.... reloaded and they were FINE... (ok thats wierd I know).... walked up to Ritual Stone... NO CRASH. Someone had said previously that the SKSE high resolution warpaints were causing random black faces... maybe it also causes other corruption... going to remove that tweak and see if something comes up.
  13. A) They won't end up in your overwrite folder if using MO 12.5 so make sure your using the correct version. B) Leave the 3 ESMs in the overwrite directory. :)
  14. Go back, that should not occur. The esp files may have ended up in your override folder. If so, simply go to /overwrite and copy the esp files back to their respective /mods/ folder.
  15. Alright, so I can play for 2 hours no issue but in one or two areas I experience a crash. Anyone else experiencing a crash running down the road from Whiterun to the Ritual stone? Since someone mentioned it I tried taking out HQLODs... but that had no effect on this particular crash. Googling the problem I am not alone in this... going to try DDSOpting all the big texture packages installed in SR. Maybe there is a bad/corrupted texture somewhere. Checked VRAM use - Under 2GB at the time of crash so that is not even a concern. Papyrus script looks clean. Crash is repeatable (same area every time). Reverted to Vanilla, same issue, same place... ug. Time to check hardware... or I don't know what...

  19. *BEGIN RANT* Why the hell are mod authors so lazy when it comes to assigning values to their items? Who in their right mind thinks a necklace made with a silver ingot and a ruby sells for 1,000 septims? *RANT OFF* I am so tired of finding good mods but needing to tailor them for balance, it's going to make it hard for everyone.... grr!
  20. The good thing about the Dragonborn DLC is that it's a new landmass with totally new items. There will likely not be many changes in the base game besides a few encounters and possibly a new boat dock area. We'll see though. This close to Dragonborn it's probably a good idea to hold off an "official" release but you guys here are already reaping the benefits so ;).
  21. God... was running around testing a few mods and got lost in game... I'm really loving my final result thus far and I don't even have a lighting mod yet.
  22. Neovalen Race Compatibility is an old note if your using Skyrim Revisited. I plan to update that as an unofficial DSpSoB patch in the future (along with some script updates). Ignore for now. That was my old compatibility patch (from when I didn't know TES5Edit so well) but people still use it(yay! 220 endorsements). I suggest using my patch instructions instead at this time. I'll take a look at your wall of text in the spoiler tags now.... Edit: Fixed all of those and in answer to this: Under "000E0FAC" node, should the "GetPCIsRace">"ImperialRace" Type be set to "Equal to / Or" to match Unofficial Skyrim Patch? You may have addressed a question similar to this in a previous post (AND vs. OR). I just noticed it's the only red Condition left in that particular node for this mod and wanted to make sure that was correct. I'm guessing it's ok. The answer is YES it should be Equal to/ Or to match the USKP.
  23. I second that, been curious about how you determine where edits need to be made and which ones to leave alone. I would imagine that reading the mod info with respect to 1.8 and using TES5Edit with the ESMs and Unofficial patches and current mod selected would highlight any errors but which ones should be changed or left alone - my brain hurts just thinking about how many nodes there are coming up red in some mods.When I evaluate a mod in TES5Edit, first I load it up alone to check for ITM/UDRs (cleaning). Then I manually check if all the data is in the correct format(i.e. version 1.8).Once those are complete, I load just the unofficial patches + the mod esps and check for conflicts. Once those are determined I check with the full load order. TES5Edit does a fairly complete job of flagging any conflicts/errors but it does miss some once in awhile. I basically go evaluate each node and determine the best course. It's time consuming but it's the only way to get it right.
  24. I haven't gotten to lighting yet... Last time I went with CoT/Project ENB part of the time and Seasons of Skyrim ENB for the other part with a mix of lighting mods... not likely to use CoT this time again. It has it's nice points but it does some things horribly wrong. Trust me when I say, I'm working as fast as I humanly can. ;)
  25. I'm really having a love-hate relationship with SkyRe... I really LOVE what he has done with weapons, armor, smithing, wayfarer, fingersmith, etc.. but HATE what he did to the magic schools... =/ I love playing an archer/thief/conjurer but he hurt conjuration quite badly... maybe I need to playtest it some to get used to it. In any case, that will come later.... Working on finishing up with all the stuff I want to add first before even investing time in combat overhauls/SkyRe. Tonight got sidetracked by the wife monster unfortunately but at least I was able to update everything people brought up in this thread. Tommorow I should have more time since I don't work Friday-Sunday. For all I know my best solution is to remove all his magic changes from the ESP and put in something like Balanced Magic... despite the obvious complications that involves... like I said I haven't looked closely enough yet.
