  1. You just have to rub in your mods and tweaking don't you... I'm still waiting on those files for the ice and glaciers btw. Back OT: interesting. Very interesting. New ice glaciers would be incredible. Mine currently look neon blue with my ENB.
  2. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20781/? I've been using this one for a while now. The exterior colors are absolutely beautiful. It's a very vibrant and warm ENB. It is made especially for Climates of Tamriel so CoT's sunsets/sunrises look absolutely incredible. Combine this with Prod08's CoT Fog Rain Overcast Patch and you've got yourself a pretty good setup. Basically, you know that any mods for CoT will look good with this mod. This is a heavy ENB and the 'Full Graphics Mode' performance Preset will take a toll on your system. Totally worth it though. The author, Bronze, also has a compatibility file that you can use with ELE - Interior Lighting. IF you do that, you do NOT need Further Darker Dungeons for ENB. Also do not use the ELFX Enhancer module. I do have to say that Project ENB + ELFX + ELE - Interior Lighting looks absolutely incredible. EDIT: Currently runs on ENB v0.221 but Bronze is working on the update for .231 or whatever the newest version is with water parallax. Should be coming out within the next few weeks probably. EDIT2: Some screenshots so you can see what the ENB looks like. (yes, I posted these on Reddit too essarrbee :P) I encourage everyone to post screenshots of each ENB for better comparison. Exteriors: https://imgur.com/a/n7jQr#0 Exteriors2: https://imgur.com/a/b7iKK#0 (using real ice Azur Glacier Real Ice v2 with parallax or whatever it's called. I really wish there was a new Ice Mod for ENB :-/) Interiors: https://imgur.com/a/uMUIg#5 EDIT 3: Compatible with RLO (Interiors only) and ELFX (Interiors only). Obviously compatible with Climates of Tamriel and can be compatible with ELE - Interiors (more information about that on the mod page). I have no idea if it's compatible with RCRN. I think it is also compatible with Relighting Skyrim. EssArrBee: Updating with wiki link to page. wiki link
  3. I'm going to try this mod out tonight. I hate the ugly vanilla textures of Apocypha. Any recommendations for any of the optional versions he has?
  4. I'd like to bump this. Dawbreaker is extremely underpowered for being a daedric artifact. Does this get rid of the explosion to undead though?
  5. Wait...there was an SRO Drangonborn? I thought he only covered skyrim and dragon born. PM me?
  6. It appears that AmidianBorn Whiterun is overwriting all the Visible Windows textures (makes sense). I guess I can just put visible windows AFTER AmidianBorn Whiterun. The only thing I'm worried about are the windows in Whiterun looking strange because AmidianBorn Whiterun has Parallax textures for the windows, whereas Visible windows does not have any parallax textures. So hopefully AmidianBorn Whiterun's parallax textures work okday with Visible Window's textures. I guess I can just keep things as it is since Visible Windows I'm sure work fine in the other cities. Cabal's windows textures in that mod look pretty great as well.
  7. Ok I will report back if I can solve it. I guess the BCF was only for the wizard.
  8. Oh you know what it could be?! Amidianborn Whiterun!
  9. Sounds like a plan. These presets are all highly subjective. But there are key ideas that potential users need to know e.g. Compatibility. Incidentally there are other preset suggestions hiding on this forum somewhere, be good idea to get them into this section as well. :) We should be as objective as possible. For me personally, mod compatibility is key. For example, your pack uses RealVision, which allows for ELFX enhancer and exteriors. ProjectENB, which I'm currently using (gonna try Unreal or Kountervibe soon) says NOT to use ELFX exteriors and recommends JawZ' ELE - Interior Lighting instead of the ELFX Enhancer.
  10. Do I need to download the "Reduced Glow" optional for the BCF to work? I need both the main high/medium-res file and this add-on to run the BCF? If that is the case, it needs to be communicated clearly because it does not mention this in the guide at all. It does say on the BCF nexus page that Z made though. Maybe incorporate that rule into the notes?
  11. Ok so maybe we can retract the scope a little bit. Maybe just quick descriptions about colors in exteriors, colors in interiors, light-medium-heavy dof, performance impact, vanilla-like, fantasy-like, SMAA, SweetFX, etc. I think a GREAT one would be mod compatibility. I.e., ELFX, ELE modules, RLO, Further Darker Dungeons, whatever. Â
  12. I'll try that right now. Hold please. EDIT: nope, still yellow.
  13. It should have objective observations that everyone can agree with for each ENB. For example, Skyrealism = true to vanilla colors, medium-heavy DoF, cool colors, hot yellows, etc. Like each ENB could have a description. Maybe we could just do this on the ENB guide page. Just expand the ENB descriptions heavily and add some screens. We can at least use a subjective thread to identify which are the most popular ENBs so that we can focus on those.Â
  14. This mod is not working entirely. I am trying to install the high-res version. I can see that the high-res gritty textures are working but the Windows in Whiterun are showing as yellow even though I set them as Red in WB (yes i only selected red and not both red and yellow). Also, the BCF doesn't work. It doesn't show any BCF files as being available to convert in WB. Yes, I'm sure I put it in the right place in bash converters. Perhaps the BCF needs to be updated?
  15. I haven't tried Realvision or Unreal yet. I'm currently using Project ENB. I love the warm outdoor colors. I know it's a bit fantasy for some people but I love it. Interiors are pretty cool too, although a bit too red, however that is apparently a problem with ELFX and those two authors are currently talking about fixing that. Bronze just put out a Project ENB - Cinematic Winter which is apparently a less saturated version of Project ENB - Cinematic so that is definitely worth checking out. I used to use Skyrealism ENB but I got sick of the boring exterior vanilla colors. I needed something prettier. Skyrealism's interiors are really cool though since I like the vanilla interior colors. Just not exterior.
  16. I didn't mean to say that my game is 100% stable or that clearinvalidregistrations is 100% effective. I'm just obsessed with keeping my saved game since I've gotten almost all my skills up to level 100 so I'm just keeping at it. Trying tricks here and there to keep it relatively stable. Sometimes I go 5 hours without a single problem and sometimes I get stuck freezing in a certain area. It just happens. I don't know. I do what I can :P. As long as my Skyrim looks awesome, as it does.
  17. I didn't mean to say it is a guaranteed way. I just said it's a good thing to have. Also, it's more like 1 Freeze/h. I barely ever a CTD. But again, I call that stable for myself. Others may call that unstable. Either way, I'm happy with it. I have just had stability success by removing script heavy mods in the past so I figured removing this one might help. That's all. It's defo good to have that enabled, yeah. And as long as you're happy with your game, nothing else matters! :) But just so I'm not imagining things, removing scripted mods can help get rid of freezes, right? Even if you use the same save file? I mean on chesko's Candle Lanterns of the North page, it says: "Waiting 8 days to be positive that all light and glow effects are turned back on is probably a good idea. After that, you should be able to just uninstall it directly. I have tested a save game that had Candle Lanterns of the North installed, I uninstalled it, and when reloading that save game, all of the static lantern objects were right back where they were. Your experience should be the same."
  18. I didn't mean to say it is a guaranteed way. I just said it's a good thing to have. It once reduced my save file size by half and reduced stuttering. So it helps to some degree. I do agree with you that the only 100% solution is to go back to an earlier save that doesn't include the mod. Also, it's more like 1 Freeze/h. I barely ever a CTD. But again, I call that stable for myself. Others may call that unstable. Before ENB Boost, i used to CTD/Freeze every like 20 seconds around certain areas around Skyrim so 1 freeze/hr or no freezes in a few days is good enough for me. Either way, I'm happy with it. I have just had stability success by removing script heavy mods in the past so I figured removing this one might help. Is that not the case?
  19. Maybe. Maybe not. Depends on what you call stable. I used to ctd/freeze every 30 seconds so having one every hour is good enough for me. Removing a scripted mod like candle lanterns of the north would remove some script loads from the game. I would expect it to be more stable after that. For example, the removal of DSI helped remove combat freezes for me. Combine the removal with the 'clearinvalidregistrations' feature of SKSE and I don't see why that couldn't help.
  20. I hope not. I've managed to use the same save game since 2011 and its almost stable. Ctd/freeze about once every hour.
  21. I found the comments section where he says that but I don't see where he says that it will require a new save. Can you link me to that part?
