Cabal, if you come out with a new version without parallax, does that mean I shouldn't use it with PPR? Should I just remove the PPR parallax textures? -

Like I said, I don't really like ANY of the Giants mods I've found but I still think this is a slight improvement over vanilla. Are there any others that would be a better choice? We should ask Cabal to include a Giants retexture in his next Creatures update -

How can I message Cabal to see if he can include this in the next update? His nexus account doesn't accept messages. I definitely agree that this mod needs a higher resolution version. I like the colors a whole lot more with this mod though. I'll see if I can catch the authors attention on the mod page and see if he/she can create a higher res option. -

https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35198/? Pretty Lore-Friendly re-texture of the Gaints. There weren't that many Giants re-texture mods that stayed true to vanilla. I really don't like any of them to be honest but this one seems to be the best. If anyone knows of any others that they prefer, please let me know. I recently realized how terrible the vanilla Giants textures are. -

This is the same one that is currently in S.T.E.P., right? Yea, the helmet is cool. I might just keep the helmet texture(s) from this mod. I don't like the rest. This mod doesn't need the ESP, right? Why is it even there? For the second type of Helmet? -

Or at least upload their screenshots with AND without ENB. Different ENBs are obviously going to make different textures look different so I don't see the point of uploading them ONLY with ENB. There are a ton of Daedric armor/weapon retexture mods. This one just happened to stand out to me. I'd encourage the rest of us to see if there are any others. We really need to find a replacement for the current STEP mod (I can't remember what it's called at the moment.) The current STEP mod makes my character look like an anime character with Daedric Armor. I'm sure Cabal will eventually re-do this armor and I'm sure his will be really good but we need something in the mean time. -
https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1182/? This is a texture replacer for the special dwemer shield Spell Breaker. The vanilla shield design is pretty nice by itself, however the shield looks really decayed and kind of bland. This keeps the same shape and textures for the most part, but makes it a bit brighter and adds one of those cool looking blue dwemer orbs to the middle of it. The way I look at it, a magical artifact such as this would stay in pristine condition throughout the years or revive itself once found.Â

I think we can all agree that the current Daedric amor/weapons mod for S.T.E.P. is pretty ugly. I used to like it but I've noticed that it just looks extremely corny and cartoony. This mod looks like it has some potential. I need to try it in game first.Â

I tried these textures in game and I actually found them quite horrible, especially the forge. I have gone back to the STEP textures (I think they come from SRO and Skyrim Redesigned)

Just an update. I see no conflict with ELFX in WB so I have no idea what is causing this. Might just be a bus with the mod itself. -

Yea, I am using his Parallax textures. I have installed this mod AFTER Project Parallax Remastered (SRO Version) so the Whiterun Parallax textures should be from his mod. I'm just surprised no one else has mentioned the texture stretching/warping so I figured it was something that I did wrong. I need to check if this mod overwrites anything from ELFX when I get home. I DON'T use ELFX Exteriors so I don't expect to find any conflicts. -

I was thinking it could be an issue with Project Parallax Remastered and Amidianborn Whiterun. They aren't that noticeable but it appears to only affect Whiterun. This might just be something I have to deal with. Any ideas? Maybe an ELFX issue? -

Will do. Also, do you know which 'months' produce full moons versus other moon iterations? That could be one of the reasons I couldn't really see the moon. Could have been a moon crescent or something. -

Enlarge the second 2 shots. You can see that the bricks/stones on the wall/ledge are warped. The edges are squiggly. You can see this very clearly on the 3rd screenshot. -
