pack Weather and Lighting (by Smile44)
DoYouEvenModBro replied to Smile44's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
I know and I said MO would still show it, but still try to re-structure the mod under one data folder and make sure the esm is in the data folder. Also, how do you know that CoT isn't working? I can barely even tell the difference with that mod to be honest. -

Yes but I don't remember what they are or where to find them. Smile might know. Aiyen would definitely know. -
This should be part of S.T.E.P. core in the 'Fixes' Section. End of story. The glow from potions/spells/effects is really annoying and this fixes it. WHAT THIS MOD DOES? This mod disables the glowing edges activated by the use of some spells. Only the body glowing is removed, no other visual effect is changed. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34981/?

pack Weather and Lighting (by Smile44)

I can help with this I think. I had a problem with installing CoT with Mod Organizer where the sky was all messed up. Basically, the problem is that the .esm file is in a folder labeled "main file" or something instead of under a "data" folder. Even though MO still installed the ESM, it didnt' interact with the correct textures or something. Basically what it came down to was restructuring the entire file manually and re-zipping it. I suggest you do that and see if your problem is solved. -
So this new version looks better even though it doesn't have CoT or the CoT Weather Patch? I loved the CoT Weather Patch since it added in the volumetric (or whatever it's called) fog. Does your new ENB compensate for that? Or should I download Manny's Volumetric fog?

Can you put spoiler tags on that? Don't put spaces though. [ spoiler ] whatever [ /spoiler ] -
You do realize you can find most prior versions of the ENB binaries here:https://forum.skyrimtuner.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=99 I did not know that but that is good to know, thanks.Â

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
DoYouEvenModBro replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
We chose delibirately not to include textures or visual changes (bar from the necessary stuff of some mods). Every user can decide this for themselves. Oh ok. They're not re-textures though. They just use the textures you already have. It adds more variety. You should check it out. -
Ok. I'm totally gonna switch to this version ;). It looks better. I just need to make sure I install Supreme Storms and ESS NON-CoT versions (was using the CoT versions previously). Sorry if this is another RTFM question....but does this mean that we shouldn't use your CoT - Weather Patch with this?

Thanks :-0.Â

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
DoYouEvenModBro replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Are you gonna add Better Town Textures and Better Mills Textures? They're compatible with ETaC. idk about the other mods though. -
Yeah, the original mod also leaves floating chimneys since ETaC moves a few houses around, which reminds me I should probably put a warning about that in the pack... Which pack is yours? I didn't realize there was an expanded architecture pack. I know someone else had wanted to create one. Was that you? And I had offered to help?

SKYRIMLE Better Towns Textures by Raphou112
DoYouEvenModBro replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
2.0 is out! Looks like you need to also use the Merged Patch file from EITHER the BTT page or the BMT page. Also, do NOT install any of the patches from the main files. Install the patches from the merged patch file. If I'm wrong on this, please let me know. That is how I understand this. -
Sounds good to me! Too bad you had to disable those effects, like sunrays though. Was that because of the new binary? EDIT: Prod, I think you meant to say that you CAN NOT expect to swap the enbeffects file. You said can.
-
Woops!! So where do we get the CoT version anymore? It's gone?
-
How is this different from the Serenity File that was on the CoT Weather Patch page? I am using that one with enb binary 045 (I was fortunate enough to save the binary before Boris removed it :-)). Should I update to this? Or should I keep that one since this one has effects disabled (I'm assuming you disabled the effects that didn't work well with the new binary?)? Also, why does this say that CoT is incompatible? I thought we were supposed to use it...just not the interior/dungeon files?

You're so very wrong my friend... ;) And I, for that matter, do remember that. And the fact that Bill has also never inhaled. Haha well the mayor of Toronto, Canada smokes crack.

What will addimg bash tags do?

Why isn't it on the Nexus anymore? Registering with that site was really annoying. No telling...dramas these days, I missed the episode but I still know how it usually ends. The last posts on STEP Forums wren't encouraging, but the TESAlliance site entry is from Oct 2013...and states it has been cleaned. Additionally, the modder for the Hearthfires Chimneys recommends it: Having stated this, I really did believe Bill when he said had never had sex with that woman and also, I almost believed that there were weapons of mass destruction over there, so I have been wrong before. Haha, only Americans will understand the Bill reference. I was too young to remember it when it happened.

What's wrong with the original chimney mod? It's still recommended in STEP but hosted on a different site.

SKYRIMLE Better Falskaar and Wyrmstooth Map With Roads by swordboy
DoYouEvenModBro replied to CJ2311's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Good enough that Bungie gave the author a job and he is only 19-20 years old. It doesn't really mess with the original Skyrim stuff, so it doesn't need a ton of patching. RW2 and SkyFalls/Mills actually aren't patching as much as they are modding Falskaar. Haha wow, when did Bungie offer him the job? Within the last year? I know Climates of Tamriel has a Falskaar module. Does ELFX? Other than that, it should use all the Skyrim textures, right?
