Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Astakos replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Script patches were not removed. Look further down in the giude..."Extensible Follower Framework Compatibility Collection". They are all there! All of these patches you mention for AOS are already incorporated into SR Conflict Resolution.esp; thus, no need for separate downloads (+ saving esp slots). Hope this helps! -
Hi again Neo, I went through all unofficial patches and the only "not-in-the-guide" conflicts i have spotted were some minor, yet "questionable" ones with CCF at ingredients (perhaps kryptopyr will update soon, if needed) and an ultra minor "response text" one at: Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp \ Dialog Topic \ 00013DFE <Shout03> \ 00068526 with Wyrmstooth at NAM1-Response Text Although still a bit puzzled as to why the USP Team fixed only the vanilla shout's response texts and not the ones in DG/DB since they share the same mentality...Oh well! Ultra minor issues! Thanks again Neo!
-
Thanks Neo. I will! :) I was planning to go through all of the unofficial patches last night but my 20-month son had a completely different opinion! :D Hopefully I will do it tonight.

Hi Neo, Regarding 2.0.9 USKPs, I think the following should be added to SR Conflict Resolution.esp: Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp \ Cell \ Block 4 \ Sub-Block 8 \ 0006DAA0 <ThalmorEmbassy04> with ELE at Ownership Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp \ Dialog Topic \ 0005C80C <DialogueFollowerDismissTopic> \ 000E155A with EFF at ConditionsUnofficial Skyrim Patch.esp \ Dialog Topic \ 0005C80C <DialogueFollowerDismissTopic> \ 000F11B2 with EFF at ConditionsUnofficial Skyrim Patch.esp \ Dialog Topic \ 00104F1B <HirelingQuestReHireBranchTopic> \ 00104F20 with EFF at NAM1-Response Text, Conditions Haven't finished going through all 2.0.9 patches (hopefully I will do later on tonight). If I spot anything else I will let you know! ;) Thanks! :)

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Astakos replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
In situations like these, I always perform the following and so far it does seem to work: 1. Save the game in an interior (preferably not crowded - Anise's Cabin Cellar is a good spot). 2. Quit game, uninstall OBIS and any of its patches 3. Re-run BP, Skyproc patchers 4. Load the save of step 1, wait a few in-game minutes and re-save in a new slot. 5. Quit game 6. Run this new save through a script cleaner and remove any orphaned scripts and references. 7. Load this cleaned save again, wait a few minutes in-game and save again. Quit game 8. Optional step: rerun the script cleaner to verify all in order and no scripts have remained. 9. Install new version of OBIS and any patches, re-run BP and Skyprocs 10. Load your last save, wait a bit, save again, play 11. Optional step: Since you are in this secluded interior and since new OBIS records will take a while to appear in-game, it is a good idea to run the "cell reset" process from the MCM of SIC. 12. Save again in a new slot...play! It is a bit of a lengthy process but for big mods like OBIS it has always worked for me. Actually this is more or less the process I am doing whenever I am updating/unistalling scripted mods. Hope some of you may find it useful! :) -
SR:LE Build, ASIS: Patcher Fails
Astakos replied to p4ck3tl055's question in Other Utilities Support
After having cleared your overwrite folder, can you try and delete the SkyProc folder that is inside ...My documents/Games/Skyrim and try rebuilding from scratch? If you are not using LOOT make sure you disable this option from the patcher options. -
Missing lights and too dark...
Astakos replied to DanielCoffey's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
I can verify this as well. Versions 6.25 and 6.30 of Vividian Vivid ENB are quite dark (actually veryyyy dark - probably due to manga's bloom changes (??)) despite using the brighter nights and interiors. For the time being I am using the esps from 6.30 and the ENB files from 6.20. Not bad at all...at least I do not have the pitch black nights or dungeons. -

@darkside FormIDs need to be renumbered. Thus, run the merge script having it checked. As hishutup mentioned, there are quite a bunch of repeating FormIDs. -

Hi Neo, From what I saw in TES5Edit, the new WAF patch for ICH v.1.11 (imp_helm_legend.esp) has some inconsistencies (where it shouldn't) with "Weapons & Armor Fixes_Remade.esp" & "Clothing & Clutter Fixes.esp". Can you pls have a look? Thanks! -

Hi koumoo :) I have been using it for quite some time and have not spotted anything. The REGS-provided version of Nernie's alters only Windhelm and Solitude; so I doubt that there will ever be any conflicts. Kalimera! :) -

Thanks Kal. I was facing problems in almost all the places he mentions. Not anymore! You might also want to have a look at his "ENB water on horse trough"...very nice as well! -

^^ This. It is indeed the SMIM 3D Chandelier in conjunction with ELFX. There are a few recommendations out there; such as decreasing the iShadowMapResolution in SkyrimPrefs.ini, getting rid of the SMIM chandeliers etc etc...There is though a very elegant and nice fix from skysan4298 here . Download the "ELFX SMIM ENB fps fix" v.1.2 and place it after the last ELFX esp in your load order. It worls like a charm and I am using without any issues at all and most importantly...i got my fps back!! Mind you it touches other areas as well where there is indeed a huge fps problem due to the SMIM-ELFX combination. -

Hi Neo, For Improved Closefaced Helmets, the author has uploaded a patch for Apophysis masks. Should we still use the custom esp form the guide that has them removed? Thanks! -

Has anyone tried Morskom Estate with REGS? Was looking it at TES5Edit and it has quite some navmesh conflicts with Nernies (CJ's version) and Immersive Solstheim from ETac. -
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57620/? I was tracking and actually using, since its early stages, the above mentioned ENB Manager.I have found it quite amazing, fast and with a lot of error-free features. Its latest version (v.1.1.0.0) is simply awesome and I would highly recommend it over the ENB Manager used in SR:LE. Mod's features (from the mod's page) [spoiler=ENB Man Features]Presets:To add a blank preset, use the drop down menu to the right and select "New". You will be prompted to give the preset a name.Full presets can also be added directly from an archive file (RAR, ZIP, and 7ZIP currently). You can do this using the "Add (From Archive)" button, or simply drop a single archive file anywhere onto the Presets group box. From there, you can select what directories to generate the presets from, or use the entire archive as a preset. Files:Files can be added to the base directory of presets by either dropping the files directly onto the Files box, or by right clicking and choosing "Add Files". The drop method supports directories AND files while the dialog method only supports files.Files can be added to directories by right clicking the directory and choosing "Add Files", and now also by dropping files/directories directly over a directory. The directory will be highlighted, and will expand automatically when the mouse is hovered over it for a short time.Files and directories have a right click menu with functions like Open, Delete, Rename, etc.Selecting multiple files/directories can be done by either using the Ctrl + Click method, or by dragging from an empty space to highlight a group of files. Binaries:Binaries can be added by using the "Add (Files)" option in the drop down menu to the right, which will open a file selection dialog.Binaries can also be added directly from an archive downloaded from enbdev.com. Use either the "Add (Archive)" option, or simply drop the archive anywhere onto the ENB Version group box. This will scan the archive for the wrapper version of the binary, and if one is found, you will be prompted to give it a version name. Palettes:Palettes can be added with the "Add" option in the drop down menu to the right, or by dropping an enbpalette.bmp anywhere onto the Palette group box.The "Use Palette" checkbox is now specific to each preset. If checked, the palette will be activated with the preset. There is no need to remove any existing enbpalette.bmp within the preset files, as it will be ignored when "Use Palette" is selected. You can get a better view of the selected palette by hovering over the small image. Depth of Field:DoFs can be added by using the "Add" option in the drop down menu to the right, or by dropping an enbeffectprepass.fx anywhere onto the Depth of Field group box.The "Use DoF" checkbox is specific to each preset. If checked, the DoF file will be activated with the preset. There is no need to remove any existing enbeffectprepass.fx within the preset files, as it will be ignored when "Use DoF" is selected. Options:Global INI Settings: If "Use Globals" is checked, when a preset is activated, the enblocal.ini will be modified with the values checked and set under "Edit Values". Currently, this is only a few memory options as well as keybindings, but if people would like to see more options here, I can certainly add some. This option can still be used with the automatic INI updating, as the checked values will be ignored when checking for changes to the INI file.Updating: If "Update ENB setting changes" is checked, active preset INI files will be checked for changes when the preset is disabled. If "Ask before overwriting" is not checked, you will not be prompted with any confirmation of this.Palettes: If "Scan For New Palettes" is checked, any time files are added, be it to a preset, or adding a full preset from an archive, any enbpalette.bmp files will be checked against the current collection. If that specific palette does not exist, you will be prompted whether or not you would like to add it to the collection. This now shows the palette in the prompt window so you know what it looks like.Set Game Directory: Use this to reset the game directory if you ever need to. Thank you!

Astakos replied to monkeycid's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Yeap! You need 2 files form the original mod page. Version 13C (main file) and then the update (v.13D). Just make sure you let MO extract the BSA from v. 13C and then you install the update which adds 2 more weapons. You will not use any esp from these 2 files adn will use instead the one from CCOR as SR:LE guide indicates. -

Guys, JaySuS Swords in Sharlikrans compatibility patches got updated yesterday or the day before. There is a sticky notice in "Posts" forum by Sharlikran: "The only exception is that JaySus Swords compatibility patch is now plugins only and requires the original mod to be installed. This is more in line with JaySus perms. Sorry if the change is an inconvenience to anyone. If you need loose files just use a BSA unpacker like BSAOpt." Which actually means that in order to get the necessary assets, the original mod has to be downloaded and its bsa extracted. I suppose that instructions in SR:LE guide need to be amended. Thanks! -

Hi CJ, I also saw that you have removed JK's Whiterun Outskirts due to clipping with ETaC-Whiterun. Does this mean we can use the full version of Better City Entrances or keep the one without Whiterun as guide indicates? Thanks! -

Hi Neo, I think that the Tree Fixes for SFO 2.0 and Bigger Tress mod might be a better solution the the above mentioned issue with LODs. You need both Main file (fixes some floating trees) and the "non-SBT" optional. There is also a recent reply of the author to a comment of mine. Let me have your thoughts on this mod! Thanks! -
I think this deserves to be sticky! Thank you Tannin!

Install only the esp that Neovalen provides in the alternate download location.
