Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Astakos replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Hi Neo, In this one: Magic Effect 000C1E98 <PerkGrandmaster1HParalysisFFSelf> Isn't the first condition altered by USKP ("Less than" instead of "Less than or equal to") necessary to forward as well? As per USKP v.2.0.5 in Game MEchanics Fixes: "Paralyzing Strike (PerkGrandmaster1HParalysisFFSelf) was actually providing a 26% chance instead of the stated 25%." Thank you! -
ASIS crash on save load
Astakos replied to Cassiemouse's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
Try something else... Delete all folders that ASIS generates into MO's Overwrite folder (inc. AsIs.esp) and also the Reproccer folder into ...my documents/my games/skyrim and run Asis from scratch. Long shot but u never know...!! -

Hi Neo, Quick question...after updating Wrye Bash to 304.4 I noticed that it places the Bashed patch,0.esp into the actual Skyrim DATA folder and then MO places it at priority 0 as a Non-MO mod (since it is found in the actual DATA folder). Do we need to have it there or we can safely delete the dummy esp from DATA folder and rebuild it as we used to? Thank you! -

Hi Neo, Just noticed that in some records in Non-Player Character (actor) section of CCO (i.e. 0001B1D9 Khayla) there is a minor conflict on QNAM -Texture lighting (IIRC in "Blue" record). Since we have most of them already patched in SR-CR (due to BOYD) I see no harm forwarding this conflict as well. What do u think? -

Hi Neo, Are u using the latest CoT-Dawnguard patch that has been updated the past few days? If so, have you encountered any problems with the merged esp or in-game? Just asking though...have not updated it yet as I just realized there was such an update released! (damn Nexus tracking!! ) Thanks! -

Will investigate and adjust as needed, thanks for the report. Edit: Updated. Its only a small skylight but its there none the less. :D Hi again Neo, Regarding the above mentioned conflict and CR guide's instructions: I think XCCM is a typo and you meant to use XEZN - Encounter Zone, yes? Thanks! -

Hi cstarkey42, Have you unticked "Renumber FormIDs" while merging all the ELE esps? If yes, try not to untick this option and check again. Unless you are talking abt other sort of "errors" that I did not understand. @ Neo: I think this one should be added to CR: Skyrim.esm Cell Block 6 Sub-Block 7 00015230 <PinepeakCavern01> Thanks! -
Isn't there a light version not including the battles for the new version? i think i saw it...

pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
Astakos replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
@ dreadflopp: Coming from Arthmoor in this very useful thread: "EDID subrecords usually aren't seen in the game. They're mainly for the convenience of the modder, but on records that have an EDID entry they're also useful for intentionally generated ITMs. Setting the EDID will prevent TES5Edit from cleaning the record out." "Do keep in mind that the EDID is useful for Papyrus auto-fill as well which is why the unofficial patches will not be changing an EDID that already exists. We only do this on blank ones when needed. Was quite useful for the UDGP when we had to repair a navmesh Beth broke inside the Abandoned Shack." "For users, it's not critically important to carry the EDID changes. Yes, the EDID is what things like the coc command use, which is why I said it's useful for modders."I hope these statements clarify the use of EDID a bit. -

Hi jacktannery, In BUM's left pane just re-order the "SkyFalls DB + FS Small Waterfalls.esp" to be below "SkyFalls + SkyMills + DG + DB + FS + WT.esp". Re-run the rule for "SkyFalls DB + FS Small Waterfalls.esp" and you should be ok. -

I did not see the instructions TBH. Just did though! I just thought that you would provide the altered GDO.esp...don't ask me why I thought of that...my bad! :) -

What will happen then if someone does not want to install WAF? I CANNOT find any reason not to but u never know!! Patching these records into CR patch, and not deleting them, still gives a bit of modularity to the guide. -

Hello Neo, Regarding the new version of WAF-R; there are some minor conflicts in the Armor section at DATA-Data & DNAM - Armor Rating with GDO that are not mentioned in the CR guide. Are you planning to include them? Thank you! EDIT: Please ignore my above question. They are included in the BP. teaches me not to forget to tick it in TES5Edit! -
pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
Astakos replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Hi dreadflopp, I saw that in your patches archive there is a Duel-WAF patch.esp. Now, this is coming from memory; I am not home to check it and it has been quite some time since i installed duel, BUT... I remember that there were 1-2 records conflicting with WAF within Duel but IIRC these records are ITMs. Again, IIRC, Duel has 7 ITMs and it needs cleaning. At least this is what LogRaam has said in Nexus forums when he was asked if his mod should be cleaned or not. His words: "It is safe to clean. And it is safe too to let them there if you don't use a mod that got overriden by the ITM." Is this true or I do not remember correctly? If this is true then this patch is not needed, right? Thank you! -

Actually there is an error in SkyrimCompanionPerks.esp. Error message: BulwarkPerkVerulus "Arkay's Blessing" [sPEL:080018D3] SPEL Effects Effect Conditions Condition CTDA - Parameter #1 -> Found a NULL reference, expected: FACT Actually there is a NULL reference in the Faction part of the Condition. I think that it should be "CurrentFollowerFaction [FACT:0005C84E]" After entering that and merging all 4 esps there are no dependencies upon the unmerged DLC plugins. Can you have a look pls? Thank you! -

It looks like a nice addition to my mod list but... I really like the one that utilizes Apachi hair for females but I have merged the 3 Apachi esms and this mod has 2 of them as Masters! Oh boy...I need to figure out a way of deleting these masters and adding my merged one...!!! -

Great idea GrandBulwark! Really love it and will test it! Tks for that! What abt a merged esp for all 4 individual ones? I read briefly in the comments section of your mod's page that something went wrong. What is the issue? -

You are probably right, about the notes being for an old version of the script. I merged all esps and so far no problems at all! Flawless integration! Thank you! -

Reports on mator's merge thread showed that RW2 optionals merge quite well. It is the primary esp that needs to be excluded. Haven't tried it yet tbh. On a sidenote: Removing RND created a conflict with ELFX exteriors at: ELFX - Exteriors.esp Worldspace 0000003C <Tamriel> Block -1, 0 Sub-Block -1, 3 00009291 Thanks! -

That is great news Neo! :) Thanks a lot! One question though...why are you including SMIM-FarmhouseFlickeringFix.esp in the merged esp? I thought this was not needed with USKP installed. -

pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
Astakos replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Hello guys, In the patches section of the guide it mentions that we must untick renumber ids. I would like to ask what is the reason for that as mator stands quite firm on not doing that in most cases. I have had problems merging esps (such as armors, weapons, this kind of staff) when not ticking renumber form ids. Thank you! -

Hi Neo, For "Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB" section, guide points to version created on 11th January 2104. There is a more updated one, dated 11th May 2014...should we use the updated one instead or there is a reason not to? Thank you!
