  1. My video card is a GTX 660 ti 3GB, do you think I will hit a wall on VRAM if I follow the guide completely? I'm about half way through, down to the body replacer stuff and when I run the game my vram usage his right about 2gb. What happened to Automatic Variants? I used to love that mod but its not in the current list.
  2. I would like to add something I discovered with regards to displays and nvidia. I am a long time nvidia user and have a 660 TI 3GB, nvidia surround vision only supports 3 or 5 displays.  You would not want to typically use two displays to play games on account of the bezel, but there are now 4k resolution monitors that sometimes need to be setup as dual displays, and that just isn't possible on a nvidia card, but is on an ati. The same goes for multiple projectors, I'm looking at building a curved projection screen to get a 3:1 aspect ratio when we move into the new house, and the $$$ difference between two and three projectors can be signifigant.Â
  3. I downloaded all these and none of the files contain a character assets folder, which is where a skeleton would be.
  4. NEXUS LINK Basically some animation tweaks that might go well with Dual Sheath Redux.
  5. I assume you mean the data folder the game sees. My understanding is it is virtual and not something you can browse to on your drive. But inside MO, there is a data tab, which should basically be the contents of the data folder with all the subfolders expandable. You should be able to right click and get some limited interactions with objects there, depending on what you want to do.
  6. I found this article from the Deadly Dragons author very helpful.
  7. Yeah, I went with the baseline step instead of doing all those high res textures for just that reason, seems to be more an issue with the engine than the computers running it. with 2.2.5 fully setup I run just over 2GB RAM and VRAM usage.
  8. There is a mod out there that has spell combos, will have to try and dig it back out.
  9. I would like to suggest Dual Wield Parrying and Grass on Steroids
  10. Have used it before, seems like a no-brainer to go along with duel sheath redux.
  11. They are already in the current release. This is a new dev thread ;)Yeah I almost missed them since they were not on the 2.2.4 page and not in the 2.2.5 changenotes... also the arvark mod.
  12. step is 2.2.5 # is iMinGrassSize step /w 40 >> step /w 20 >> GOS /w 100 >> gos /w 75    bench results between the performance step grass and the dense GOS grass show virtually no difference, probably take someone with a slower rig to really tell if there is a difference.   Running around in game, it really does look cool.  Makes things look so much more overgrown than vanilla, to me it seems more realistic, and its not like the whole world is blanketed, the hotsprings still were very sparse, the grass reeds along river banks looked cool. Â
  13. I have only used UFO in the past, never had any problems with it so never looked to another one. Would be a good mod comparison to do.
  14. I agree that it probably breaks with vanilla skyrim, those screenshots look so nice though.
  15. Yes, but the patcher .jar needs to be in the Skyrim/data folder, not in the Mod Organizer/mods folder, corret? That is the only way I was able to get it to work. If that is the correct method then we need to update the MO->SkyProc part of the guide to give those instructions. I could update it, I just want to make sure its not an issue with my system doing something weird.
  16. I will absolutely be testing this.
  17. For mods that use a SkyProc patcher, Dual Sheath Redux, AV, Reproccer, ASIS, etc... I am unable to get the patcher to work when downloaded from within MO. It seems that if the patcher is inside the virtual directory system then it does not get to see all the installed mods. To get this to work with MO I manually copied the "SkyProc Patchers" directory from within the MO mods folder and placed it inside the skyrim data folder. Restarted MO and then executed via the data tab and it works like a charm. Could be an issue with my system, if not then we need to include this kind of instruction on the mods page.
  18. Had to set a user rule to place NonEssentialChildren.esp after NonEssentialChilds.esp as apparently the .esp was renamed at some point and the new one isnt on the BOSS masterlist.
  19. Alot of games that have swimming either lock the camera below or above the surface, so the surface plane never intersects the camera. I don't know if that feature is even possible in skyrim, or if there is a mod out the that does that already.
  20. My complete mistake, I thought this was pointing to the optional file on the race menu. :) I'm assuming that one isn't suggesting in the STEP install because STEP doesn't really use any hair packs or the like.
  21. I wonder, could the mod be setup to that it could keep playing the audio till the end of the book, even after you close the book. Kind of like the old log player in system shock 2. Less immersive, but more functional.
  22. Also not recognized by BOSS, thinking I may skip after seeing all the issues posted here and on the nexus thread. I do think there needs to be more farm animals in general, just maybe not with this mod.
  23. Ah, ha, found it. Only been around a couple days so still learning my way around the forums. Thanks!
  24. On water alone, I could never make a choice, maybe leaning more to Pure Waters. But when you consider the other stuff like wet rock and less splashing then WATER is my fav choice.
