  1. Just vanilla EDIT: Sorry, I was trying to do 10 things at once and I just realized what you're really asking. These are comparisons between vanilla and Rustic Clothes. The conflicts are as follows: Wench Outfit - Static Mesh Improvement ModMonk Hood - Clothing and Clutter FixesBlacksmith Shoes - Skyrim HDBlacksmith Outfit - Skyrim HDBarkeep Outfit - Skyrim HDI haven't taken a screenshot of the Wench outfit, but I'll circle back around to try to get a comparison of the blacksmith and barkeep outfits to compare these two with vanilla, Syrim HD, and Realistic Clothing.
  2. Vanilla / Dragonborn Mages Robes Retexture Pack Cultist Temple Priest Telvanni Miraak
  3. I always go with either Crucial or Samsung because these two are very reliable (knock on simulated wood-grained particle board ).
  4. I just run Wrye Bash, right click on the bashed patch esp, and select rebuild patch.
  5. Necromancer Psijic Redguard Sheogorath Thalmor
  6. Sample screenshots of vanilla / Rustic clothing for your viewing pleasure. Adept Apprentice Barkeeper Belted Tunic Black Mage Blacksmith Chef Cicero Emperor Hammerfell Merchant Miner Monk Mourner Mythic Dawn
  7. I updated some of my recommendations as well, although I think Nebulous raises a good point that we should consider changing some of the default shortcut keys to avoid conflicts.
  8. The one odd thing I see is that the "shadow" in that second screenshot is a perfect square and I seem to recall seeing that somewhere else.
  9. It might be a real shame to have to activate that Windows license after 30 days as well.
  10. I personally use Smithing Perks Overhaul - Remade and Updated with Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade and Stealth Skills Rebalanced by Kryptopyr. Others may prefer Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim, SPERG, or Perkus Maximus, Requiem, or SPERG-Ordinator Combined for a more overall gaming overhaul. There are others as well
  11. The folder layout in that screen shot isn't quite right. In this screenshot you should have this structure. This screenshot is from Mod Organizer's Filetree view of the SKSE mod. The important point to note is that you should have an SKSE folder below the scripts folder and the skse.ini file should be in this SKSE folder.
  12. Exactly the reason I continue to use Unread Books Glow. It makes it a lot easier to see the unread (skill) books from a distance without having to cursor over them to see the asterisk.
  13. I think it might be a good time to back out and start from the basics. Get the vanilla game stable without anything extra. Once this is stable, get ENBoost working and stable and then throw in SKSE and get it stable. When you add SKSE to the mix, use the Memory Blocks Log to verify the SKSE configuration is set and working correctly (e.g. you should see 512 256 in the first line of the log).
  14. I couldn't help but notice right after the video ended YouTube popped up "The Elder Scrolls VI: Hammerfell" and "The Elder Scrolls VI: High Rock" in the video list. It is an interesting theory, but there's a lot of speculation at the moment without much foundation in reality. It'll be interesting to see how all this plays out in the end.
  15. Click the third icon that looks like an identity card or such (between the globe and cogs), and look at the Automatic Archive Invalidation. The guide states this should be unchecked for Skyrim and we are to back-date all the BSAs instead. See Step 5 in the Mod Organizer guide here: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#Initial_setup EDIT: Click the Archives tab in the right pane and make sure "Have MO manage archives" is checked and all your BSAs are checked. I know you said you have all BSAs checked already, but it's usually a good idea to double check because Mod Organizer may mistakenly uncheck some when you switch profiles.
  16. Locked duplicate topic. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/10691-area-around-solitude-has-floating-grass-and-trees-and-windmills-and-waterwheels-without-structures/
  17. The requirements-only version is very similar to Thieves Guild Requirements and Timing is Everything so I think this is perfect for STEP Core. As other have mentioned, the full version of this mod includes significantly more changes (including the ability to join the Companions without becoming a werewolf), but I dismissed this version because it steps outside the bounds of the vanilla game to some degree and introduces potential conflicts with other mods. From here on out, I am describing the requirements-only version... The basic premise is very simple. The player speaks with Kodlak about joining the Companions and Kodlak has the player spar with Vilkas, take Vilkas' sword to Eorlund, bring the shield to Aela, and follow Farkas to your quarters. This is all straight vanilla Skyrim. At this point the player must complete 10 radiant quests (including at least one radiant quest for each member of the circle) over 14 days, have a weapon skill of 30, an armor skill of 30, and be level 10 before the Proving Honor quest triggers. Once the player completes the Proving Honor quest, the player must complete 20 radiant quests (including at least one radiant quest for each member of the circle) over 28 days, have a weapon skill of 50, an armor skill of 50, and be level 20 before The Silver Hand quest triggers. After the player completes The Silver Hand quest, Aela sends the player on the Stealing Plans quest, the Retrieval quest, and another Stealing Plans quest. Now the player must complete 10 radiant quests (for either Vilkas or Farkas) over 14 days, have a weapon skill of 70, and armor skill of 55, and reach level 55 before the next stage triggers. At some point near the end Aela sends the player on one more Stealing Plans quest and finally the Blood's Honor quest triggers and the remainder is pure vanilla Skyrim. One potentially confusing point is that in the last stage (after The Silver Hand quest and before the Blood's Honor quest), Aela's only role is to send the player on various quests to steal plans from the Silver Hand so she can't assign the player radiant quests and has no dialog options even though she has an arrow over her head. When the player tries to talk to Aela, she says something about giving a beating to the Silver Hand and Kodlak hasn't caught on to the schema. Yet. I think Darth_Mathias has pretty much read my mind because the one feature I would love to see is an item in the MCM menu showing how many radiant quests I've completed and how many days have passed since the last stage. I mentioned that I tried to complete one radiant quest per day and the only reason I did this was to try to keep track of my progress with the general notion that one journal entry is one day.... even though it doesn't really work out quite this way. I even dug through the console to see if I could find a way to deduce this information from script properties. One important point to note that is that pretty much everything is configurable in the MCM menu, although I played using only the default options. I should also note that the appropriate section in the MCM grays out and becomes disabled when the player meets the requirements for that section so it is easy fairly easy to know when the next stag is ready... it's just not so easy to know how much further the player has to go to reach the next stage.
  18. I think this mod has found a permanent spot in my load order. It does take a long time to finally become Harbinger, but it's well worth the effort. I want to try to the full version at some point in the future, but I think the requirements-only version is perfect for STEP Core or Extended.
  19. I am finally the Harbinger for the Companions and this has been one long ride. I wanted to better track my progress through each stage so I accepted one radiant quest per day and returned to the Companions no earlier than the next day with the general notion that my journal would show something like one radiant quest per day. This generally held true, although a few of the radiant quests (notably collect six sabre cat pelts) took longer than a day given the small population of snowy sabre cats. Overall this strategy worked out well since it allowed me to track 14 radiant quests is about 14 days so I could know when the next stage should trigger. For the short quests I spent the remainder of the day and night exploring caves and dungeons I came across or completing miscellaneous radiant quests I had collected. I've pretty much cleared out most locations in Skyrim that aren't locked, became Thane of Whiterun and Solitude, and kicked Alduin to the curb. I still have lots to do since I haven't begun the Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood questlines (I didn't think it would be appropriate to do these while working my way up the ranks) and I haven't been to Soltheim yet (saving this for Detailing the Eldrich).
  20. This dialog is saying that Windows is running out of memory (e.g. total free memory is near zero) so it recommends closing the application that's using the most memory, and this just happens to be Skyrim. If you are using an x86 version of Windows, there may not be much you can do since 32-bit architecture is limited to about 3.2GB maximum memory. If you are using an x64 operating system with at least 4GB memory, you can increase the size of the page file and/or install more memory.
  21. Agreed.. and I think Nazenn recommends this combination in the mod description.
  22. Does Mod Organizer always create this folder in ProgramData regardless of where it's installed or is this folder being created in Program Data because it's installed in Program Files and is being redirected to ProgramData by Windows?
  23. Vanilla | Better Shaped Weapons | Dragonbone Mastery | Better Shaped Weapons+Dragonbone Mastery | Better Shaped Weapons+Dragonbone Mastery Engraved
  24. Here are some screenshots of the weapons for comparison. Note that the engravings are small and subtle on some of the weapons, but I included the engraved versions for completeness. The editor does not allow including all images so I'm breaking this up by weapon. Vanilla | Better Shaped Weapons | Dragonbone Mastery | Better Shaped Weapons+Dragonbone Mastery | Better Shaped Weapons+Dragonbone Mastery Engraved EDIT: I have one more set for the war hammer but the editor won't allow me to include this many pictures in one post. I tried to post this set separately but it tries to merge the new post into the original post and fails without warning or error.
  25. Have you verified you have the skse.ini file in the proper location? See this post from Nebulous112 for a screenshot showing the correct folder layout in Mod Organizer. If this is correct, verify you don't have any duplicate skse.ini files in some other mod or in the Skyrim game folder that might be conflicting. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/4985-memory-blocks-log-by-sheson/page-4?do=findComment&comment=167825
