  1. What is your fps with Vanilla skyrim hr dlc on Ultra settings? Also your gpu is Not powerful. You'll Not get a nicely performing Game with shadows racked up that high, especially After step.

Start a new game (all mods still enabled) and go to your CTD area. 1)If that doesn't work, disable all your mods and reenable them in small groups 10-20 at a time until it crashes, then check what could be the problem with those mods. 2) If the new game works with all of your mods: Load your real save game and attempt a clean save and get rid of all your mods, then do a clean save again (each time with 32 days waiting). 2) A: If you still can't get to that spot, your save is toast. See what happened Gopher's Stiv Let's Play Skyrim. B: If you can make it there, follow the procedure from 1).
  4. Also I'ld suggest to set the directory for MO downloads to be on your HDD. No sense in keeping those files on your SSD as well.

  7. This mod adds a little something to soulgems by applying glowing magic runes (Oblivion stlye) on them when they are filled with a soul. The normal soulgems are redone as well. From the description: Looks really good, although the author doesn't provide real comparisons and the gems are "optimized" for Bleak ENB. We'ld need to find out whether or not they work with STEP. Also we'ld need to evaluate whether they look better than our possibly a lot more colorful soulgem replacer. It looks easier to install though... There is a HQ and performance version. Petty soulgems are affected as well but it's only mentioned ín the changelog and I think he just forgot to mention them in the description. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48785/?

  9. The Author refrains from making all materials shiny, so orithalcum is not altered by this Mod.
  10. I'm wondering whether this will start a series of fake announcements of new games and nobody will ever believe a game announcement anymore before they actually finished the complete game trying to find out, whether it was the real game they bought or just a fake ;-)

  13. Just use the latest versions, benchmark, then use the 314 and benchmark. If 314 isn't measurably better, use the latest driver version
  14. @ Neo: You can use the installer as a executable through MO, launch it through MO and then move the files from the overwrite to the mod folder.
  15. I don't have a ATI GFX, but my ingame AA was sufficient. Maybe I'm not that susceptible to Aliasing anymore.
  16. Let's stick to: We'll not consider voting this mod out, unless a new flaw is discovered. At some point we really want to get to 2.3.0 and our new installer system. If you have too many irons in the forge at once, you'll risk ruining them all.

  20. Concerning your personal argument I'll defer to Smile44s response. However as a moderator I want to kindly ask both, Starac and Cabal, to refrain from ridiculing the other and stick to constructive criticism. Both of you are renowned texture artists. There is much you could learn from another, if you weren't so eager on proving that the other's textures are rubbish. Edit: Apparently this comment was superfluent after all.
  21. Then please, test the textures and isolate those textures that suit the original style of the game. Or just create a pack using all the textures you like and combine it with other mods that alter the appearance of the game in a similar manner.
  22. Requiem adds a spell "Dispel soulgem", which is a workaround for vanilla Skyrim Soul trapping issues. It empties a filled soulgem. I think it would be nice to require a perk to be able to trap multiple souls in one soul gem and to direct the soul into the right soul gem or even divert the soul from your gems if it isn't big enough to fill one on it's own. As a standard there should be a small chance that the soul trapped goes whacko and chooses any of your soul gems (unless it is a black soul or you only have a black soul gem, but it's a "white" soul), if you lack the beforementioned perk(s). This makes enchanting a lot harder to level and more interesting (I think).
  23. It is modular. I don't like the new animation for 2-handed sword and couldn't find a video depicting the cloak fix.
  24. Potential conflicts with cell altering mods like SoS/CoT/others.
