DROPPED Unofficial Skyrim Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
EssArrBee replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Should we start making a list of mods that need to forward fixes from the new patches? -
Be careful with Sizescale and SourceTextureScale. They can be murderous on the performance.

Messed up Textures on Solstheim
EssArrBee replied to DoYouEvenModBro's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Man, that looks like one of the areas created when a dragon crash lands somewhere. Did you fight a dragon on Solsthiem? -
I remember reading that Boris' SSAO technique was closer to HBAO which I believe is an Nvidia creation, not sure how the performance is though compared to Boris' version since I've never used HBAO that I know of. You'd probably have to search back a few threads for it maybe .224, somewhere around that time I remember reading it. Then just go to Nvidia's site and see it they have any HBAO info in the developer section.

Is Dragon Script usable with Mod Organizer?

I'll mark this as solved. -
Is Dragon Script usable with Mod Organizer?
EssArrBee replied to Phont's question in Mod Organizer Support
ScriptDragon is like SKSE where it is not installed by MO, you must install it manually into the Skyrim folder not the Skyrim/Data folder. I don't recommend using ScriptDragon either though, because it has been reported to cause issues with higher level save games. Try the TK Dodge mod with the SKSE version. -
So mod managers like MO need to install files directly into the Skyrim/Data folder. If a mod isn't packaged to got right into the data folder you will need to pick a folder that is going to be the top level. Not sure which one it is for Apachii, but it is usually which ever folder has the plugins and textures in it. Just right click on that folder and select 'set as data directory' or something like that.

I'll keep this in mind later on when I test it out. I started doing something else this morning and before I knew it, it was already almost 4pm. I think the hud files might overwrite, but they are .xml files that are combined by UnifiedHUD. Maybe I'll take the vanilla ones out and put them in the fake directory and then import them back.

Dragonborn add-on released today.

Animated Hair Project by xp32 It's a wig with hair physics. Takes the tail physics from beast races and expands on it to make hair bounce. Looks really cool, hope it turns into multiple hair styles. Not like TressFX though, which is probably a good thing, too much performance.

If Hillary runs then there is absolutely nothing the Republicans do. Even if they hate Obama everyone remembers the 90s and another shot at that type of gov't will attract tons of voters, and especially women voters who would love to have the first women president. Bengazi will be the only thing they run against and it will not be enough to stop another Democrat president. Maybe her age stops her from running, but I doubt it. One thing is that they would need a 60% in the house and senate votes to pass a bill and 66% to override a presidential veto. Never going to get that, New York and Cali can make up enough in the house to stop that. The power of the Tea Party is fading nationwide and just maintaining a hold in certain areas where they can drum up the hatemongers. Even at their height they could only get two people into the Senate, Cruz and Raul, all the others were already Republicans that were jumping on the bandwagon. In the house they have gotten out of control and much of the funding is drying up from the big donors because they created the Tea Party to stop Obama's policy in congress, but they got out of control so the rich donors turned off money spigot. Well, except for a couple people like the Kochs. They will not repeal anything and they deathly afraid that it might actually work in the long run as exchanges become more competitive with employer healthcare and that is the real fight that is going on behind closed doors. All the crap on tv is just the sideshow, but in meetings with lobbyists it is all about the insurance companies keeping their collusion and oligarchy going. Breaking that up will be good in the long run. Now if we could only do the same thing with cable companies. Don't how you feel about Apple and Intel, but I fully support them bringing unpackaged TV.

Well, Monty is so right about the Navy's equipment. Our laser weaponized laser technology is decades ahead of everyone else. I used to work at Whitesands and if only I was allowed to go into detail about the stuff we worked on, it would blow your mind. Used to amaze me every single day, but my specific research wasn't directly related to building weapons, so I got the axe during cut backs for the pending sequestration. If only we put that much money and time into surgical lasers or any other type of lasers we've be so much better off. As a percentage of GDP though it isn't really military or social security that is going up at a huge rate, it is healthcare costs. They have skyrocketed over the last 20 or so years and only now are people complaining when we actually try to do something about. Even if we increased military spending by 20 billion a year it would still be only a fraction of GDP or a contribution to debt, also if we were to halve our military spending it would only hold off healthcare costs rising for about 10 years before it replaced the debt with medical spending. First, we have to get costs down, second we have to stop feeding people sugar, salt and fat. Our new exchange will cause competition down the road if we get enough states to implement good systems and their success will drive demand in the rest of the states. It is pretty much forced capitalism, which has been severely lacking the last few decades in healthcare and a little competition can be good for prices.

Getting this error in Wrye Bash after running Bashed Patch
EssArrBee replied to DoYouEvenModBro's question in General Skyrim LE Support
That is the latest version and it is not a beta. You can open up the Bashed Patch with TES5Edit and see what all is in there if you know what you are looking at. Otherwise it tells you want it did after building it, that list is what the bashed patch constructed so it is good to inspect it if you are having problems. -
First Time SOLVED:User of DDSopt, Skyrim-Texture Missing Now?
EssArrBee replied to Larka's question in DDSopt Support
If you have the STD in your mod list for MO then and then check it off, it will overwrite the BSAs with the those files. -
First Time SOLVED:User of DDSopt, Skyrim-Texture Missing Now?
EssArrBee replied to Larka's question in DDSopt Support
Put the textures.bsa back in and see if it works. I don't like deleting the vanilla bsa stuff, just let the MO .7z files overwrite it. -

Install a different version of WB and try again. Sometimes it is the version of WB that haywire. They just don't have the dev team to maintain the program properly. -
Employers that are cutting full-time workers aren't doing it because of the ACA, that is just them lying to make a quick buck. Look at what Starbucks just said about businesses doing that, they are greedy scumbags, not business owners with their backs against the wall. And 97% of small businesses do not even have to worry about the law because small business taxes aren't going up and their employees still get to go on the exchange and they don't have enough employees. Just another BS myth about the law. And how is better for those of us that pay taxes to leave people uninsured? Everyone will need healthcare, yes even young, healthy individuals will need it. Accidents happen even you aren't insured. I actually like that poor people can go to a doctor's office now instead of having to wait till they are so sick that an ER is the only place they go, and I have pick up tab with taxes, and ERs are about 300% more than a GP. F**k that! Now I will not have to wait 3 hours just to see a nurse at an ER if I ever need it because people are there for colds and flus. Let these people pay penalties, which will go to back into the system, oh and the penalties don't even kick in the first year. I think our current interpretation of what the law is so diluted that we can't even describe it accurately. All these premium increases and not caused by the ACA, they are caused by greed. It has already been established by research groups that since the law was passed that premiums went up 10% and they blamed it on the ACA while the law really only increased premiums by 1%. Again when the law into effect the same thing happened and 10% increases in premiums around the country and about 2% from the ACA. Your getting punished by a system where you have no choice. At least now you can leave your insurance and go on the exchange and get coverage, probably will be cheaper and better over time. Monty is right about unsustainable healthcare in the USA and it gets me so angry when the 5 minute memory crowd is bitching about the price of healthcare going up when the ten years before the ACA was passed it went up over 100%. Is that sustainable? Where were was all your bitching then? And Americans already pay more in taxes for healthcare than France, and most of us get nothing for it. As far the debt goes people need to realize that the American debt is not like anyone else's debt in the whole world. The Treasury has auctions for our debt and people fight over getting a seat for those auctions. It is one of most coveted assets on the planet. Your debt isn't in demand, Mexico's debt, BoA's debt, China's debt is not in demand, no one wants to buy it because the risk is way to high. If our debt ever gets to really dangerous point we print money and pay it off. That isn't ideal, but it we always have that safety net and all the debt is in dollars so we can do what we want. Oh, and even if the whole industry fails, we win anyways because we will have no choice but to make the industry public.

ACCEPTED aMidianBorn Book of Silence (by CaBaL)
EssArrBee replied to EisDrache's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
On line 196 of the wizard.txt add the word 'Steel'. It needs to end up looking like: Case "Glass - Steel Grey" They made the option 'Glass - Steel Grey' and the reference to the folder says 'Glass - Grey'. -
That would work if UnifiedHUD's installer could actually be run by MO, but it cannot. I think it is a .js file which would be java and there is not plugin for that.
-
We should definitely ask Cabal is we can make a AV pack for Book of Silence. That would be a decent one to start with since he has different flavors of almost all the armors, dark and light for some and white fur or brown fur for others. It would be pretty cool to see a Thalmor patrol with gold elven and black elven armor march down the road.

I'll play around with it this weekend after I finish up something else I'm doing. If can get it down to a solution where NMM importer works then I could probably write a guide properly with simple enough directions. Thanks for the explanation, wolverine.

Damn, z my heart goes out to you and your family. How does anything cost 12,000/mo, insanity. My first car didn't even cost that much. My great g-ma is still alive and lives in a old folks place in Mass. and it is less than that, I think only 9K/mo. And that is for 24 hour care of a women who just turned 105 a couple days ago. Still lucid, by the way. This country is so hell bent on being the best and richest that no one ever stopped to figure out what that actually meant. The American dream has become a nightmare no one can wake up from.
