  1. I added the Necklace mod. I thought I had added it like a month ago, so I'm clearly loosing my mind. Also, finished my settings for MCM at the end of the guide. Use the Steam browser or something to make those adjustments if you want to use them. Anyone can also make their own MCM settings page and I'll link it. Mine is setup for people that plan to do power armor or ranger armor playthroughs since they have badass helmets that would probably have some kind of HUD. Not yet. I'm trying to get through Beyond Boulder Dome ASAP, but I limited time to play DLC sized mods. I'll get to it soon enough though.
  2. Damn, I honestly thought I added that mod to the guide. I must be going crazy. It's called Distributed Necklaces and Chains Neck Seam Concealer.
  3. Get the neck chain concealer mod I added to the guide. It isn't prefect but you can't see the seems.
  4. We also, have an unofficial IRC channel, linked in my signature below.
  5. URWLNV is the mod I was looking at for replacing NS. https://www.moddb.com/mods/urwlnv-ultimate-edition-v20/downloads/urwlnv-ultimate-edition-v20 I think it is okay without ENB, but it comes with it's own ENB profile, so people have the option.
  6. Maybe go to the settings and in the plugins go to the FOMOD installer and disable it just for that mod. See if that makes the installer go straight for the external installer.
  7. I'm having a similar issue, but I thought it was from Enhanced Camera since I've been testing that. I'll look into a bit more tonight.
  8. Did you add Enhanced Camera? There are INI edits from that mod.
  9. Just ignore it. It is telling you that there is a potential problem, but we already looked it over and nothing is wrong.
  10. Unknown Enchantments is that mod that adds the (U). It is letting you know that it is an unknown enchantment and that you could break that weapon down at an enchanting table.
  11. The C# scripts and the .js scripts can't use the VFS from MO, but everything else works.
  12. No, don't do that. It is better to just put it in somewhere like C:\Games or where you put Steam.
  13. WHen you install with FOMM using MO, it can't always find the mods you installed with it, so when it looks for them bad things happen. I forget how I fixed it, but I'm pretty sure that I installed FOMM in a different place and changed MO to run it from the new installation.
  14. F&L was originally more of New Vegas Enhancement Project, NVEP. Here is a link to the original version to see where I was going: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Essarrbee/FalloutNewVegas_STEP_TYPE I did want to do a STEP thing for other games first, but it was just easier to do it as SRLE type thing by myself. STEP as it stands right now is done by a rotating squad of 6 people, but only about half write each version. Also, the amount of work that goes into STEP is freaking crazy. You wouldn't think so, but each version gets over quarter million views, so we need to make sure everything is tip top. I wouldn't be able to do that by myself and would hate to put the STEP brand on sub par work. The one cool thing is that the name works for just about every game as an acronym. STEP (Skyrim), NVEP (New Vegas), FTEP (Fallout 3), OTEP (Oblivion).
  15. That is a typo since I just copy-pasted those instructions from another merge to keep everything looking the same. Some mods have sounds, meshes, textures, whatever, but you can only untick it after merging if the only asset in the mod is a plugin. Yeah, that means the merged plugin will also need Deflst as a Bash Tag. I'll add it in. I always forget about that tag since it wasn't part of Oblivion's Bashed Patch and use the Oblivion Wrye Bash Readme to go through and find the tags.
  16. UIO is back with an update that fixes the WMM problem.
  17. Exactly like that.
  18. And if you tick the other plugins do they show in FNVEdit and load up with the other plugins? When I load up FNVEdit I get the same paths in my FNVEdit.
  19. What about after you click ok and load the plugins. I would like a screen of that to see what it looks like.
  20. No, that is the Unknown Enchantments mod going through your save and seeing what enchantments you have unlocked. It is supposed to show you that message. If it says it recovered then the mod loaded properly.
  21. Put it right after AFtershcool special since that is a house mod too.
  22. No clue about Director's Chair. I also wouldn't update UIO if you have your UI section working. GSDFan reported a problem. Theoretically you should be able to install Director's Chair without any issues. It would go early in the UI section, like after the Advanced Recon stuff. Add in Mobile Truck Base if you want to use it. I am at the plugin limit with my testing profile and can't test it till I make a new profile. That isn't going to happen though since I'm in the middle of Beyond Boulder Dome and want to finish it first before doing anything else.
  23. The engine can only use two cores max. the other 2 cores are running non-gaming stuff in the background. FPS drops are just Bethesda being bad at optimization. What UI mod is that you are running? Open FNVEDIT, right click select none. FInd Fcomaster.esm and tick it. When it loads expand FCOmaste.esm and right click the NpC record and select remove. You can't use the playable races patch using this method. You can also expand the NPC record and just hightlight everything the starts with 00 and delete them. The records that start with anything other than 00 can be left alone. This method will work with the playable races patch.
  24. UIO just updated. I don't think it affects the install instructions, but DarnUI require INI edits anymore. I think UIO does it for you. Noice!!!
