  1. Open the patch in TES5Edit. Go to the record under the STEP Extended Patch. Delete the record. Profit. I'll update the patches tomorrow. I hit a snag and had to download Skyrim over again, so I'll get them uploaded tomorrow.
  2. Well, you can have multiple people contribute to the master and their desktop gtihub app will sync automatically with the master. If you aren't one of those people then you have to fork it off and do your own while making pull requests to add your changes. It works really well for code since it parses the lines of code and combines the changes. If someone can make patches that are up to my standard, then I will definitely add them to the project so they don't have to fork from the master. No one has actually done that yet, so they need to fork from the master and submit a pull request that I can review. There is a way to keep your fork synced with the git shell, but I couldn't figure it out because I was being lazy.
  3. I have to download Skyrim again because Steam can't see it since I did reinstall of Windows. Kinda weird because that never happened before. I'll get to the patches as soon as I get the game redownloaded. If you want to learn some of the basics of Github I can teach you, but the biggest problem is syncing your fork to the master. It is actually easier to delete your fork if the master gets updated and then just re-fork the master. Anyways, let me know and maybe we can hop on mumble or something. Using Github for the patches is a bit weird since you can't merge files like you would with code, so only replacing plugins works and that means only one person can make changes at a time and that anyone else making changes has to start with the master. It hasn't been a problem so far though since I've only had one pull request.
  4. I'm getting off work in an a couple hours and can do it. The UP stuff wasn't worth updating for but if CRF was updated then I need to look at it.
  5. FCO has problems with the glowing ghouls. It affects some and not others and the cause is unknown. You can open the FCOmaster.esm in FNVEdit and delete the glowing ghoul records. Other than that I have no clue how to get rid of it and the author hasn't figured out anything either.
  6. Make sure you aren't adding mods that have BSAs. If you do then those BSAs need to be extracted.
  7. BSAs loaded by plugins have a limit that is separate from the 255 character limit of INI loaded BSAs. NVAC raises the limit for INI BSAs to 1000 (maybe 10000, I forget) characters. That really helps if you repack the optimized textures in to BSAs and add them to the INI, so no plugin is needed. Plugin loaded BSAs seem to hover around 20 or so. I have never been able to produce consistent results eventhough I spent months testing it.
  8. No start means that you probably have to many BSAs. Try extracting a small BSA one by one till the game starts.
  9. Complete is a weird word to use. As soon I finish one thing I tend to want and redo something else. I'm to busy to work anything right now though so just install the guide and have fun. Probably won't be able to work on it till after new year starts. I know that is a while away, but I'm in the middle a big physics conundrum at work and these things take time to sort out.
  10. Monument Valley is finally out on Android and it's free. I found it on this reddit thread. Very nice little MC Escher inspired game. https://www.reddit.com/r/AppHookup/comments/2mr4o1/android_monument_valley_399_free_amazon_faotd/
  11. The followers can have home set by C&CC. You have to bring up the follower's individual menu by clicking 'K' when the command icon is up. (check the MCM menu for the hotkey) When in their individual menu you can set their home if you are in that place, so go to the school house and set it.
  12. It's not Restoration it's Redesigned. Restoration is from a different mod.
  13. Walking Dead Season Two is fee on iOS. I don't know about Android. Found it on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/AppHookup/comments/2lwnc3/ios_walking_dead_the_game_season_2_499_free_carol/
  14. Metro 2033 is free today on HumbleBundle. I know how much everyone loves free DRM-free games. https://www.humblebundle.com/store?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=Link&utm_campaign=Free%20Metro%202033
  15. Throwing hardware at a software problem doesn't always help. The engine just doesn't do well with lots of mods. You can upgrade your GPU and start using ENB/ENBoost with better results since it works better the more power you have. If you are upgrading don't do it for this game, do it for all the awesome games that just came out or are coming out. Those GTAV screens that came out yesterday for the XBone and PS4 look amazing, so imagine what the PC version is going to look like. Alien: Isolation is even scarier with better graphics because there is a point where the alien and the characters on the ship start to look real and it is just freaky. Then Wither 3, DA:I, and maybe a shooter like the next Battlefield are all better reasons to upgrade.
  16. You can make shortcuts that appear on the top with the other icons. That is what I do for the really common stuff like 4GB Loader, FNVEdit, and LOOT.
  17. I've seen a few articles doing these types of tests and they all had the same conclusion. Even Samsung's new TLC drives live a long time. I'm not sure that I would want to keep a drive longer than three years without updating it though. Manufactures are improving the size and speed so fast right now your SATA III drives are almost outdated with new stuff coming out for SATA Express.
  18. ENBoost is hit or miss. It works great for some and terrible for others. I put a note for people to try it because if it works for you then it works quite well. 4gh loader removes many of the of the out of memory crashes but not all of them.
  19. If you reinstall Prject Nevada or PN - EO, you need to reinstall MCM and really anything that falls after those mods because FOMM overwrites files in the VFS since it is run from the executable dropdown.
  20. I haven't tried that version yet, maybe it has a problem. You could start by going from just reinstalling OneHUD all the way down to UIO, which is like 3 mods before trying the whole section again.
  21. Make sure you have the latest version of UIO. It's v1.21, or it will not work with OneHUD, which is where Adjustable HUD is from.
  22. Why do you keep teasing us?
  23. THe Strip open and Freeside Open mods are just too demanding with the other mods. Outside Bets adds a bunch of NPCs that degrade performance as well, but any of those mods you can use without any compatibility issues. Not sure about Cass' inventory, but that is a weird glitch. The M4a1s thing might be something wrong with WotNM. I didn't test every single weapon in that pack, but if that is something you notice then ask about it on the nexus thread to see if it is a known bug.
  24. If you use the tweak guide for FO3 then ignore those multithreading tweaks. THose are not good for FNV.
