  1. i get it now, thanks for the explanation !
  2. Hey Kelmych, in the guide at the part Robots HD Rextexture (from QuazarX) there's a DC Interior patch in the mod installer, but there's no mention about not touching it or install it in the guide. Because we use DC Interior project, i believe we have to install it anyway ? what's your advice about it ?
  3. Can't wait to see what you have in your pocket for us
  4. Thanks for the update, and enjoy your rest Diana !
  5. I hope you'll be back in good shape soon diana ! Take some good rest, you deserve it
  6. I'm watching the massive amount of work you are doing here, and i must say i'm really impressed Diana. I can't do anyhing to help you if not just saying a big thank you for your dedication. When this guide will be almost done, i'll give it a go for sure to try and test it ! A big thanks again, but take some rest too !
  7. Thanks for your dedication Diana, just get some rest too !
  8. Hi killemloud, you'll find the "Start New Topic" button just before this page, on the "Mods" Page, on the right side, after the subforums.
  9. @Nozzer : i thank you for taking some time on my report, that was a huge one but i like to correct and improve things if i can, so.. For every parts i just tried to pull my vision of how i've handled the guide through my eyes. I'm not an experienced modder but as i have already install that kind of guides a couple of times, and i know that sometime it's not as simple as described, so, i tried to bring a little bit of clarity. I totally agree about your opinions on mod notes, although i do think that a small description isn't so out of place (well.. it's quite already done everywhere, so... ) I just showed the ones that were missing because they were already everywhere. For the Fomod part, i've just show the ones where there were no explanation at all. I wrote about it because for the others, even if sometime you don't have to select anything, there's always at least a "none" option so, i thought i had to warn you about that. And about the special installation vs after, i think i've seen it a couple of times, and sometimes the files that you have to delete are already unpacked, even if there's a bsa, like a *.txt or *.esp (they can already be deactivated during a manual installation). I know that it has been obvious during my installation, but maybe i'm wrong, and even if i was correct that is not a big deal, i just tried to be as precise as possible. And finally for the "tedious" part about testing the game, it's just that i know it can be difficult to test "correctly" in the middle of an install. Maybe for big testers and experienced modders like you it may be obvious, but i do think it can be a little bit overwhelming when you have to "deactivate" this, bash that, beware about this or that.. I just tried to explain that it's really easy to get an error during that kind of tests, even if in the end you could have installed everything perfectly and the game would have launched without problems (and that was my case, everytime i installed those guides). I know i would, because i'm a noob, and don't want to pollute forums with stupids questions Anyway, i hope i have brought my part to get things a little bit clearer. My skyrim is running smoothly, so spending all thoses hours were worth it ! Thank you
  10. Hey there : i've installed everything and it's running quite smoothly for now. Some small tweaks and adjustments, but, holy sh... i'm really impressed about the amount of work you guys have provided to us. Really well done ! If i may, and i know Nozzer will enjoy it because it is in only one post :) here's a list about everything i've noticed during my installation, from typos, to installation files errors, or fomod installation lacking some infos. : In Order : Legend (at the beginning of the guide) : the BSA tag's description should read : "This tag represents mods that remain packed in their BSA." Mod Installation : you should maybe write it like this as i find the explanations a little confusing : "This section is only for users that have already followed and installed the other guide from Neovalen Skyrim Revisited : Legendary Edition and want to see how to integrate it with this guide. You will find the howto on this page : Integrating SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn With Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition" The other line about the advice to test the guide after each section is quite hard to follow if you get far, because, sometime you don't know what to do for everything to launch at a particular stage. At the beginning there's not many mods, but at the middle it becomes a little bit tedious to know how to launch the game. So, i don't know what to say about it but maybe we should think about some part that may be easy to test and others that needs a little bit more explanations to actually do it ? Bethesda Performance Texture (both "Animals and Creature" and "Armor - Clothes - Weapons": Mod Notes: This mod further optimizes lots of textures and makes the High Resolution DLC unnecessary. Lock Overhaul : the Mod Notes could be "overhaul the lock system to add more options and make them overall more interesting" Race Compatibility for Skyrim and Dawnguard : "Special Installation : Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s)" should be replaced by : "Post Installation : Remove the following file(s) and/or folder(s):" Undeath Patches : Small typo in the description : OPTIONAL FILES - ... Immersive College of Winterhold : the section about ELFX is already explained in the part where you actually can do this process, i.E during the ELFX post-installation, so maybe it's redundant here if you follow the guide. I, for example, been a little bit disturbed by that part and think that it should be removed here to gain some clarity. Not so fast - Main Quest : "Post Installation : Remove the following file(s) and/or folder(s):" should be replaced by : "Special Installation : Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s)" The Notice Board : "Post Installation : Remove the following file(s) and/or folder(s):" should be replaced by : "Special Installation : Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s)" The Paarthurnax Dilemma : "Post Installation : Remove the following file(s) and/or folder(s):" should be replaced by : "Special Installation : Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s)" Thieves Guild Requirements - No Auto Quest Start by Brynjolf : "Post Installation : Remove the following file(s) and/or folder(s):" should be replaced by : "Special Installation : Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s)" Timing is Everything : "Post Installation : Remove the following file(s) and/or folder(s):" should be replaced by : "Special Installation : Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s)" No Stretching : "Post Installation : Remove the following file(s) and/or folder(s):" should be replaced by : "Special Installation : Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s)" Barenziah's Glory : There is no Mod Notes, maybe add : "This mod replaces the stones and Crown of Barenziah with something worthy of an ancient treasure." Gemling Queen Dragon Claws : There is no Mod Notes, maybe add : "This small mod is a replacer for the hideous gemstone dragon claws." Realistic HD Food : There is no Mod Notes, maybe add : "This mod improves the models and textures of various foods and beverages." Skyrim Landscape Overhaul : In the Fomod Description there's a typo : "Stone Texture -> Texture Options/Resolution => Texture Variant 1 - High" Northfire's Photoreal Mountains : The warning about removing "Moss Rocks - Legendary.esp" from The Ruffled Feather Mod is useless because this file doesn't exist anymore (it's named "Moss Rocks.esp") and there's already a warning during the installation of The Ruffled Feather Mod to remove Moss Rocks.esp. One Mountain - To Rule Them All : The Special Installation part should be : "Install the two main files separately, do not merge them." Horses Revamped : "Post Installation : Remove the following file(s) and/or folder(s):" should be replaced by : "Special Installation : Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s)" NPC Retextures - Option 1 : Close to Vanilla : you should add a small warning like this at the beginning of the section : "This part is optional. Please, see the other section below and choose one of the two options. Do not install both !" RS Children Overhaul : The filename in Optional Files has changed : RSChildren_CompleteUSKP.esp RS Children - Cutting Room Floor Patch : There's no Mod Notes, maybe add : "This mod adds compatibility between RS Children and Cutting Room Floor." Aetherial Crown : Small typo in the description in yellow text : ...(CCF Improved Artifacts Patch overwrites it). aMidianBorn Book of Silence : The fomod description in Unique Items is missing the option for "Volendrung" : install it or not ? Same for The Dragonborn DLC part for "Acolyte Masks" : Install it or not ? Better Circlets HQ : Small typo in the description in yellow text : ...Now uncheck everything except for textures/armor/circlets. Improved Closefaced Helmets : Updates - Improved Closedfaced Helmets - PATCHES v1 file : there is a missing description and information in the Fomod about what to do in the second part "Dragon Priest Mask Options". The missing part is named "Additionnal Patches" (below "Select your dragon priest Mask texture") and the option is : "Konahriks Accoutrements - Retextured" do we install it or not ? Rustic Forsworn : The name of the file in the Link description is wrong : RUSTIC CLOTHING -> RUSTIC FORSWORN Winter is Coming - Cloaks : "Special Installation : Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s)" should be replaced by : "Post Installation : Remove the following file(s) and/or folder(s):" Faction Crossbows Leveled List Patch : The note about its inclusion in the "Weapons and Armors Merged - SRLE Extended LOTD" is disturbing. Actually there 's no reference in the guide itself but in the merging section, i.e another page. I think it should be removed or the description should be more clear about that. For me, i didn't know what to do : install it or not ? I really think that this info should be more clear or just removed. Perseid's Inns and Taverns - Realistic Room Rental Basic - SRLE Extended LOTD : Small typo in the description in yellow text : ...RealisticRoomRental-Basic.esp - Load After... Wrye Bash : in the description on how to create the Bashed Patch, you don't have to uncheck Skyrim.esm because it does not appear in the section "Import Names" anymore. You can remove that info. ...and i think that's all i have found for now ! I know that some of them are maybe just for visual convenience, but i hope that it will help a little this guide to become more clear. Thanx again for such dedications !
  11. Thanks Alkira, that was helpful, as i don't like seeing any errors during such a massive installation like this guide. It stresses me a little as i don't want to do stupid mistakes and redo it from scratch !
  12. i'm sorry, but i didn't find any information about this error. I read again the section about merging, the part where we installed the mods, but there's nothing about it. I must be blind, well.. that could be a possibility since i have been on the guide for a lot of hours today Maybe you could help me finding those instructions ?
  13. There seems to have an error in the plugin Helgen Reborn-RSC Patch.esp Merge Plugin found an error NPC_ \ Tint Layers \ Layer \ TINI - Tint Index -> <Tint layer index 2 not found in BretonRaceChild "Breton Child" [RACE:0002C65C]> and when opened in TES5Edit, we can see that there is actually an error. I found on nexus forum a solution, it could be a typo, so you just need to change the entry "Tint Layer" from 2 to 24 in TES5Edit and save. After that the merge can be done. I don't know if the value is actually the correct one but it shows no errors so... I post it here as someone could get the same problem.
  14. The link is working now, thanks a lot for your rapid reaction Darth
  15. Hey everyone, really great guide you've made here ! I have a small bug to report : the download from dropbox for OPTIONAL FILES - RSChildren - Merged Complete and USKP.esp (part RS Children Overhaul) is not accessible anymore. There's a file with the same name on the nexus site but it's told in the guide to get the one from Neovalen. Could someone reupload it anywhere ? Thanks for all your hard work !
  16. if i remember correctly it's in the tweaks section after having selected the "rebuild patch" fonction.
  17. I'm glad that solution worked out for you. But i found this mod (Skyrim enhanced camera) really buggy with some of the packs mods. I remember having those weird camera lock issues with just an extended STEP install... It's quite hard to find evidence of what is really happening here because, for me, that kind of bug didn't show up everytime, just randomly, so it's hard to know what's going on. The best solution was to effectively disable it. Sad, because i really liked it
  18. Just for testing... have you tried disabling skyrim enhanced camera ? I had problems like being stuck on enchanting table after activation with that mod enabled on a past SRLE installation.
  19. As per Neovalen explanation, you have to deactivate your original mod because all the files (meshes, textures, etc) are brought with the merged patches (look at the merged files output). But you have to be careful as if you make a partial merge (only patches but not the main esp e.g), you have to copy those files to the newly created merged patch folder.
  20. There is a note telling you exactly what to choose and why :: [ https://www.nexusmods...out3/mods/19000 Gilbert Science Sets]MedRes Author: JokerineVersion: v3.00Notes: Higher resolution retexture of Gilbert Science Sets. Use V3 if Fireside Colors is desired, otherwise use v2.Installation: Get the selected main file and install with MO. choose the file according to what you prefer.
  21. i agree, after hearing some of the samples, it's not significant for all of them, but it's certainly an improvement to vanilla sounds.
  22. well, that's an odd one :: thx for the quick reply darth, and congratulations for your efforts, keep up the good work !
  23. Hi Darth, i was just looking into your ini edits and i saw a line in skyrimprefs that draw my attention : SkyrimPrefs.ini Tweaks [Controls] bMouseAcceleration=0 Remove the following fMouseHeadingSensitivity=0.0500 Replace with fMouseSensitivity=0.0125 isn't the third line missing the "Heading" in it ?
  24. As i've already faced something like this, i solved my problem by adding these lines to the fallout.ini under section [General] bUseThreadedAI=1iNumHWThreads=2 Yep, i know, it was already in the guide but it must have been late this day i dunno, but i missed it, and that solved my crash. Perhaps you forgot that too ? Good luck in your research.
  25. Hello everyone. I've come across a troubling ENB problem. I have exactly the same issue as that guy here https://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=4523 I tried to search another solution, but no one reported it since then, and i don't know where to begin. I've tried disabling some effects one after one, but for no results whatsoever. I tried to play a little to see what other bugs i could see and it seems that smoke from explosions (like after a car explodes) is like semi transparent and seems to flicker a little to. That seems to be a transparency or/and shadow problem maybe (i tried the fake fullscreen on or off it's the same...) Notice that if i disabled "UseEffect" in enbseries.ini the problem disappear, but if i disabled them individualy that don't change anything, that's strange. My Hardware is a Nvidia GTX780 with up to date drivers and other utilities (DirectX, .NEt framework, etc. are also fine). I've already seen my nvidia inspector but everything was already configured as specified by the STEP Team. I tried also the ENB injector version but that make my game crash at launch. I've attached my fallout.ini and falloutprefs.ini and my ENBs ini. If someone can look at it or have an idea where to start from, that would be great !fallout.ini falloutprefs.ini enblocal.ini enbseries.ini
