Anyone can edit the Wiki once they have a forum account, as Z said, we ask that you learn our methodology and dont go breaking anything. We greatly appreciate the effort, but I want to point out one thing. We will not be hosting any mod compilations, period. This has been discussed at length several times already and for numerous reasons we won't be implementing it. Search around if you want all the reasons or someone can perhaps recap them, but I'm on my phone at the moment. Were also already working on a way to download and install mods from the Nexus automatically. This is being spearheaded by Monty at the moment and there's already a forum dedicated to it. Please jump in over there with any ideas or whatever, there have been numerous attempts to do something like this that have never gotten off the ground due to the lack of collaboratiothiso do something like this properly is a big project and we'd love to have more heads on one solid implementation than having several people developing seperate solutions.

Maybe Farlo can fix as well. I am not familiar enough with the parser functions used in Template:BCFLink (this is the source of the problem I think). Fixed it, not exactly sure how though. I did Page Tools->Refresh on the guide, mod page, and both BCF file pages.

I had this with the Dwarven helm (see discussion starting here) and it was determined that stat changes could cause this as well. Are you using anything like SkyRe?

It would be nice if the author uploaded a compressed or lower resolution version, 16MB for a single 2k texture is insane, especially the sunglare. I asked the author to upload a smaller file, but no response yet. I tried running it through DDSopt (which was being a pain in the ass for some reason) with standard settings but I got some weird artifacting, any advice in that department?

Personally I never liked the interface either, I think it looks like a Celtic version of the Bioshock interface. The functionality is well worth it though. -
I'm liking the combination as well, it's always bugged me how big and visible the Vanilla strands were... then again I've never seen a man sized spider, so who knows what it "should" look like.

If you're willing to write up a short guide on what's needed to get STEP and SkyRe (or any other mod) working 100% I'll sticky the thread for sure. We can also put it on the mod's Wiki page.

Thanks for the detailed analysis, awesome work! Even a relatively minor improvement is definitely worth it, assuming no bugs are found I'm liking this one. -

Both combinations are much better than current choices, but I like the different colors for different gems so I'm leaning towards Z's colors personally, but as always: more choices = good. -

The two reports have a different checksum, so you definitely have a different file. However, the Nexus log states that the mod hasn't been updated since "16:18, 21 Mar 2013". I'm assuming that is in my timezone (PST) since the rest of the site seems to adjust to my local time, in which case the mod hasn't been changed in over 8 hours. When did you download the "dirty" file and from which server? Also, I'd appreciate it if you could update your report or otherwise let the Nexus know that we're also collecting some data.

See my previous post, I updated it with the results I got from Virustotal. I think you might have a virus or other baddie on your end because I just downloaded both files (v1.15.1 and v1.15.0) and not only are they both clean, but they are essentially identical in terms of size and content (open them in Notepad++ to compare).

I'm not getting a hit from Avast. At the very least we should alert the Nexus and the mod author; it needs to be pulled down before more people download it, just in case. EDIT: Check the hashes, does the one you scanned have the same values? I'm getting a clean result from Virustotal with a fresh download: v1.15.0.0 - Archive DLL v1.15.1.0 - Archive DLL

This mod is definitely not getting into STEP any time soon and I'm pretty sure everyone here knows it :PÂ No harm in discussing the mod though. Perhaps we should mod threads like this into Skyrim Related.

Look at them in-game (especially the broken ones in windehlm market) and report back, what you think about them...I agree, even if it isn't perfect it's a huge improvement over Vanilla. -

As I mentioned on the Dev thread I've been using this since I started my new game and haven't found any issues that I can attribute to this mod. In TES5Edit the only conflict is with USKP and it's just the position of a few barrels in Solitude's Hall of the Dead; both mods simply move the barrels so they aren't colliding with a wall. -
IMO mods that have been approved for a future version should remain in the MS forum (stickied and tagged) until the new version is released and move them into the Anthology then. This will help us keep track of which mods are on the table and hopefully bring more discussion to them until their actually added. Even posting about the move can be lost, to make no mention of one of us forgetting to update the OP with something; we need a definitive point of reference as to what's on the way into the guide.
