  1. Octo, you're using the MO beta which could be causing some of your issues. Have you tried it with the latest stable version of MO?
  2. You can only untick ESPs that are dummies. Basically the only purpose of those ESPs is to extract the BSAs. As far as i know, Immersive Armor's ESP isn't that type of ESP. It's needed to run the mod. I haven't verified this as I don't have Immersive Armors installed.
  3. Papyrus logs are fairly useless unless you understand what the scripts put into the log and the author's intent. Some "errors" aren't errors at all. For more information on this start reading the below post as well as the replies: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/7521-steve40-lvlpredator-script-fix/?p=120261 In short, Papyrus logging rarely needs to be enabled.
  4. STEP doesn't have Requiem in the Guide. If you're using a Pack, that would be from the Pack Author which are not maintained by STEP. They are maintained by the author(s) of the pack(s). There currently aren't any official STEP Packs. Packs are still in beta as well...at least the infrastructure on the wiki which supports them.
  5. For you city folk, those "corn dog thingys" are called cattails.
  6. We can take a look at WATER vs RWT again. Some of the optionals might be worth having and if so, it would be very simple to install those files with the STEP option in the installer.
  7. Yeah, this is really for non ENB users and with the addition of ENBoost, this mod doesn't have much use.
  8. Do you mind if I ask what specific mesh edits you have done? Were they just simply match the shape of the drop?
  9. Update the instructions to be more clear.
  10. Keithinhanoi, It's always a pleasure reading your incites. Before reading your post, I had decided to hold off on my vote. But I completely agree with every word of your post so I'll vote now.
  11. I didn't do any fixes. I simply made a FOMOD so you don't have to install the mod twice to get both male and female textures.
  12. Version 2 texture does look nice in that compare, but when I viewed them in game they seemed to "noticeable". V3 doesn't look transparent enough for a water drop, imo. I will retest though in a few additional locations.
  13. Allow me to interject my point of view here... When I evaluate a mod, especially mods like this, I compare it to real life. Why? Because most often the more "natural" the mod feels the better it fits into the game. Mods like this should be "noticeable" in my opinion. They should enhance and add to the ambiance of the scene. If you have drops that are unnaturally big, then they're going to catch your attention and break your immersion. For this reason, STEP is currently recommending v1. The effect is a good improvement over vanilla; however, that v1 does break your immersion one bit. The effect is beautiful if you stop to take a look, but other than that it simply enhances the ambiance. V2 went too far, imo. The drops are far too noticeable and catch far too much light. In some cases they look like white streaks rain down the screen. This is not desirable for enhancing the ambiance of caves, mines, and other places that are suppose to be dimly lit in the first place. Vanilla lighting in these place is FAR to bright in the first place so I don't want anything that is going to add to that distraction. V3 I have not had a chance to look at yet. I do want to say, that there is such a thing as "over designing". Imo, the mod could have stopped with V1 and been a success. I would ask that you keep V1 available for STEP.
  14. Widening the text fields would have been okay but either on purpose or as a side effect, the author also increases the font size. That's what is confusing about this mod. The author made features like the smaller icons to minimize the immersion breaking effects of having large icons and in the way of your view but then makes the font larger...just doesn't make sense. That's why I'm guessing it's a side effect of his fixes.
  15. The only thing I can't get over is the increase in the size of the menus. I'm having a hard time understanding why the author did this. If I'm not mistaken, it's even larger than vanilla's default. I even customized it with some of the changes from Fertigo Pro, but it's still way to large. I'm on a HD display for a reason and my glasses work perfectly fine. I don't need assistance.
  16. I like the way you think. It's pointless from my point of view. I completely ignore it and only notice it when someone complains about it. The rep system has no bearing on my views of a good or bad quality post. Same goes for the users. I don't judge users by the rep system. I judge them from their interactions. The rep system might simply point out a bad action here and there and that's all. For example, I did not evaluate GrantSP's rep before recommending him for staff. He proved himself over time. The same goes for the "bad apples". They show their true faces over time. I think the staff has a general idea of who are the good and bad seeds out of the most active users. Those names Z mentioned, I've never even heard before. The bad apples usually don't stick around because they're use to the Nexus and other forums that aren't as "maturely" ran as ours. We didn't have the rep system in the past and I don't feel it's added anything useful in the new forum.
  17. Nothing. My post above is old info. Boris recommends keeping the defaults. For iBlur, that's 3.
  18. The light should change from "sunlight" to "moonlight" as night takes over. I know that ELFX and Relighting Skyrim does something similar to enhance the effects so you might want to look into one of those. Relighting Skyrim is the more vanilla friendly of the two, if that is something that you care about.
  19. Personally, I find it completely arbitrary and useless.
  20. I've been checking conflicts for them and have already offer to help anywhere I can. Most of the work seems to need to be done in creating the plugin(s) and texture/mesh/morph work. I typically don't do that because my work here on STEP is typically full; however, I'm a bit passionate at what this mod aims to do and think it's the perfect child overhaul while staying vanilla/lore friendly.
  21. Nor did I notice any change from changing the ExpandSystemMemoryX64 setting from True to False. Of course, my rig seems to be a bit different (I'll brag here and say it's because of my skills at building quality systems...ahahaha! ) as I don't even need to run ENBoost to have a smooth game with a full STEP installation plus a few personal mods on top of that.
  22. Please take a moment to vote on our implementation above ^ . Please do so only after familiarizing yourself with commentary on this thread in addition to the way post voting works. thanks! NOTE: We are not committed to making any changes based on this poll result, but the result may hold some sway. -STEP Can we do away with the Reputation System entirely or is it a core feature in the forums? It usefulness is absolute zero and it causes more upsets than anything.
  23. It does not. ICH, WAF, and Content Addon are all maintained by the same author.
