  1. Nice. Getting a jump on things!
  2. https://imgur.com/gallery/Uopo6 Blurry textures are everywhere...you call that wood on that bridge?? Just look at that old rusted car!
  3. I've gone back to read the tread and it's wishy-washy. At first users don't care for it, but then they do. 1 no and 1 yes from all DY, Ess., and myself. My official vote after playing with these in-game for a while is a Yes. So that's one positive yes for this one.
  4. I would really like to try out these games, but never having really played one before, I don't think FNV was a good one to start with. I've added FO3 to my steam wishlist to keep track of it's sale.
  5. Yeah, it's been in STEP for ages. We're just never updated any comparison to it until now. DY, what's your opinion on this mod?
  6. Looks like the beta is losing out here. I'm really okay with either, as long as it's not what we have now, so #2 or #3.
  7. Actually, I think Horncandle is more accurate. The rim is naturally going to be darker due to use over time; whereas, the rest of the horn will stay relatively the same color. Horncandle's metal is also far better imo.
  8. Yes, I've already made the changes to the FOMOD.
  9. No collection mod. Really? You prefer STEP? Hmm. To each their own. ::
  10. Link to compares: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/4319-farmhouse-chimneys-by-scarla/?p=145355
  11. Took some compares so we can decide which to go with. Current STEP >> FC v2.2 with SP's Optional Stacks >> FC v3.0 Beta Personally, I think I prefer the Beta chimneys.
  12. I haven't tried the new Beta ones either. Guess I could have a look.
  13. Added compares to OP. Shots with 2K version I think these speak for themselves. They are twice the resolution of vanilla, but that is shown in the detail this mod has. Horn and metal are both better than current STEP which is Tobe's Hi-Res Textures. The glow effect from these is much better as well. I vote these for STEP:Core.
  14. No, we haven't. No one has ever added that mod to testing though I've seen it mentioned a lot. If it's going to be tested, it needs a "testing" tag added. We're going to quickly push out this release due to USLEEP so get it added and we'll test it for the next release.
  15. I'll take that as three approvals. Added to STEP:Core v2.2.9.2. 2K optional file.
  16. Autodetect has been reported to not work correctly in some cases. Manually setting it is better and safer.
  17. Compares added to the OP. Sorry about the position shifts. Not sure what happened there. Could have been Enhanced Camera, which I'm thinking about uninstalling. I used the 2K version to match the HRDLC. Hair is also 2K version, but there is an optional 1K version which can be installed (making it only twice the size of vanilla hair). There are a few points I'd like to make: Color - the color of this mod is more true to vanilla by simply giving them an aged look. AMB changes the skin color to grey. Hair - this mod covers the draugr hair. AMB doesn't. This mod also makes the hair grey, but it still looks nice. Armor - this mod covers the armors. AMB, surprisingly, doesn't.
  18. Added compares to the OP. Used the 2x1K version which is double the vanilla resolution. Second set is with the linen option for the cloth and the last set is with the mesh option for the cloth. There are some improvements here. Most noticeable, Kajuan has improved the seams, hands, and cloth. Not so noticeable, the skin texture is improved as well. Overall, it's probably nothing you're going to notice during real combat with one of these wispmothers. With that said, there is nothing in STEP which currently covers these textures. I vote for this mod's inclusion for the simple fact that it's not covered yet and is an improvement over vanilla. I did a quick compare with the vanilla (1x512) resolution and couldn't notice any difference so that version would be the best pick for this mod in STEP.
  19. Compares added to OP. There is currently nothing in STEP that covers these textures. I used the 2K textures because that is what the HRDLC file sizes are. This should be an easy approval and add.
  20. Updated mod page instructions to use Boris's tool rather than the formula to properly set VideoMemorySizeMb.
  21. Go with what the tool provides.
  22. Decrease Those Plants accepted for STEP v2.2.9.2.
  23. A quick test proved them to not be there. That's says enough for me. Three Staff votes for Decrease Those Plants. I'll drop this from testing and post on the proper forum. Dropped from Testing. Decrease Those Plants in The Ruffled Feather will be used instead.
  24. I can probably test it really quick. They're along the road and can easily be found right outside Ivarstead.
  25. I'll wait to here from one of the other guys on their opinion first.
