DROPPED WATER - Water And Terrain Enhancement Redux (by SparrowPrince)
rootsrat replied to Asimov's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Word of warning when updating mods with MO: when you have patches or addons installed separately (for example if you install "Skill Interface Retexture" and then "Skill Interface Retexture - Dawnguard" separately, so that you have 2 separate items in our mod list, when you are reinstalling the mod, MO remembers the LAST used name, so if you were reinstalling "Skill Interface Retexture" the program would say that the mod of this name already exists, but it means Skill Interface Retexture - Dawnguard. ALWAYS hit Rename first, to check which mod MO is actually reinstalling. -
This looks really interesting. I just wish there was a more colour variety to different types of gems. That's where SGD's strenght lies.
-
MyBB has also something like that, but I'm not sure if there is a point of searching for it and installing, when we move to new engine...?
-
First of all, please refrain from using swearwords on our forums, even if you replace the first letter with a *. I edited your post to remove it. Second - I am getting exactly same error. I just run separate patches. I use SkyRe and it's 3 patchers in total, not 4: AV, DST and ReProccer. Third - when you run SUM it does run each patch separately anyway, the only difference is you get 3 ESP, instead of just 1 combined SUM.ESP, so time-wise it doesn't matter, it will take the same amount of time to run SUM or separate patches.

I noticed that when a user is replying to a PM and accidentally hits BACK button (I sometimes do by hitting backspace, when I'm not in editor window), and then uses the forward button to reload the page, the text in the editor is not saved. I just lost a MASSIVE PM... Is there a chance to install a plugin that would save a copy of a drafted PM in real time? Or, in spite of forums engine migration, search for such a plugin for the new engine please? In fact, it applies to any Reply editor, not only the PM one. It's really annoying to loose so much text...

SKYRIMLE SUM - SkyProc Unified Manager (by Leviathan1753)
rootsrat replied to darthbdaman's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
By the time you'll finish vanilla, hopefully step 2.3.0 will be out, and SR will become an official expansion pack for STEP, so I'll let you decide :) Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 4 -
Did you try reverting to default ini files?
-
I couldn't get One Tweak to work either. I reverted to the same author's separate mods for borderless window and double cursor fix.

Some good finds there, TC! Grammar Hammer is definitely a great one! I would like to suggest Bookshelf Script SKSE for Core. It is a very simple script that allows to place up to 48 books in a single bookshelf (depending on size). It's safe to use, causes no problems and works like a charm.

Ha! You sir, are awesome. That fixed it. For a second there I thought I might have ruined my game. Now let's say that I wanted to play without any mods with this specific save; how would I go about undoing this particular mod? If it's not possible that's fine, I'm just glad it works. Thanks again. It's not really advisable to remove mods from an existing save. Some mods can be removed safely, for others you need to follow special instructions, but generally it's NEVER a good idea to remove mods and keep playing. This is due to the fact that some data from mods are written into the save file. Always keep a backup save without a specific new mod you install. Test the mod for some time and in case you don't like it you can always just remove it and go back to that back up save.

skyrim mod organizer v.0.12.9 download questions
rootsrat replied to Quahogs's question in Mod Organizer Support
Well, Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB is a mod. It contains meshes, and you install it into the Data folder. ENB itself is not a mod, it's more of a plugin that you place in the main Skyrim folder. This plugin allows the game to use fancy visual functionalities, that are kind of a visual overlay, as you can switch them on and off in game. -
I just created empty folders named as per STEP sections, and distinguished them by adding a lot of "=", so they look like this: =========== 2.F. Conflicting Graphics =========== Each empty folder also has a red icon in the list so it's easily spottable when browsing through. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

skyrim mod organizer v.0.12.9 download questions
rootsrat replied to Quahogs's question in Mod Organizer Support
1. You did right. The folder that the mod will be installed to is already considered a Data folder. So if you left it as it was originally packaged, it would virtually look like this: Data/Data/Textures, which is incorrect. You can either manually pull the relevant folders to the top level or right click a folder and tell MO to use it as Data folder. 2. Correct. ENB is installed at the end of SR. Did you ensure that the scripted mods like EBT, BSF etc. were unistalled correctly, as per the instructions on individual mod pages? -

Show off! :D -
I'm still on 0.12.9. It's a stable version and I don't experience many problems with it - occasional crash, but they happen rarely enough not to bother about them.

I've seen someone mentioning hat on x64 OS and with => 2GB VRAM the ReservedMemorySizeMb setting should be slightly over your VRAM value. I added 256MB (it's not really "slightly", I know) and set it to 2304 and some initial testing shows that my ILS were greatly reduced. Not gone completly though... Here's my enblocal.ini settings. I use ENB series 0207.
-
Move it from the 1st "block" to the 3rd one, onto the one you have created, so that the patch contains 3 conditions in total - 2 from GDO and 1 from AS.

1st STEP install - Succsess - but a few remaining questions!
rootsrat replied to frozenreads's question in General Skyrim LE Support
What I meant was, and perhaps I should have expressed myself more clearly, that Mod Organizer allows you to create profiles, which are basically virtual Skyrim/Data folders. Each mod is installed in its own folder - as opposed to the actual Skyrim/Data folder - and the profile tells MO which ones to use to create Data folder. So there is no need for constant copying, pasting, folder name change, multiple data folders etc. It's MUCH easier and more use friendly. -
Did you try to start your have without enb and enboost? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 4 Looking at your BOSS log, I can't really see anything out of place. One thing: clean all the files that have the following note: Contains dirty edits: ** ITM, ** UDR records. Needs TES5Edit cleaning. A cleaning guide is available here." using TES5EDIT. The link to a cleaning guide is here: https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/TES5Edit_Cleaning_Guide_-_TES5Edit You can also see Neovalen's Skyrim Revisited guide here on STEP forums for step by step instructions. Try starting your game then and see what happens.

Please also post your BOSS log. What happens when you start a new game? Does CTD happen after Skyrim title is shown and you're in the cart?
