  1. Is this normal or the more gold version?
  2. I have a few lifetime oldschool favs! 8-bit favs: 1. Bruce Lee 2. Spitfire 40 3. Zorro 4. Robbo (Polish game, you guys probably never heard of it) 5. Road Race 16-bit favs: 1. DUNE (the very first one from Virgin Interactive, adventure/strategy one) and I think this is my MOST FAVOURITE GAME of all times! In fact I still play it sometimes, love it! 2. Elite series. X-Rebirth? Don't make me laugh... 3. Exequo Ishar series and Transarctica (what a game concept! One of my biggest dreams is that someone will remake this gem ones...) 4. Lucas Arts adventure games (love them all) 5. Exequo - Legend of Kyrandia & Lure of The Temptress (the first game ever to introduce NPCs that lived their ordinary lives, aka daily schedules) 32-bit favs (talking oldschool here, let's say 20th century only): 1. Elite series 2. Interstate '76 (The atmosphere! The Mad Max'esque feel to it, ahhhhh!) 3. Darklands (first sandbox ever!) 4. Duke Nukem 3D. For "What are you waiting for? Christmas?" and other verbal abuse he gave to everyone around. 5. Diablo (changed everything)
  3. I'm, not that bothered about this new fancy underwater stuff. I mean, how much time in game do you actually spend underwater? O_o
  4. That's a good feedback, and I'm encouraged to try ESO more than I was before :) The only thing is - comparing to Skyrim isn't really the best way to go I think, as both games are essentially different experiences, and MMO will never be as good as single player game :) Nevertheless, thanks for such a detailed review, Mothergoose, it was a good read!
  5. Forgotten Windmill is an excellent player home! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  6. Why does SPM indicates you have 0 MB of VRAM? O_o
  7. Maybe Cabal could take it on board and upscale it? Would be good! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
  8. That's for sure :)
  9. I suggest stop discussing this topic in this thread, as it's no the appropriate space for this. In fact, let's not discuss it in the public space at all, as this will only cause unnecessary comments from different sides.
  10. That's well spotted! I have to check it out in my game now! :D Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, I'm not dismissing the inner workings of the OS, quite keen on learning the 'proper' Linux ;), and I'm aware not all can be done by simple config - but I'm just aware of how little free time I have.
  12. Starac, haven't seen you here for a while :) Gentlemen, now, please be polite. Discuss, but don't flame - not saying you are, but just so that discussion doesn't go the wrong direction. Anyway, Starac, seeing as you're still working on SRO, are you planning to release any updates/new versions? A lot of people still use your texture pack.
  13. You can reset cells using Skyrim Immersive Creatures functionality, you only need to sleep for 1 h.
  14. Thanks for your advice all! I presumed Ubuntu would be recommended by most, I just wanted to confirm that it is the right one to start. I don't really want something to replace Windows - I don't mind having something different. I would love to start learning more advanced stuff, but I'm pretty sure lack of free time won't allow me for this... Phazer, when you say "You're required to set everything up manually" - do you mean manually entered commands, which forces you to learn the commands, all the parameters and all that jazz, rather than using menus etc.?
  15. Not a fan. The new textures seem too noisy.
  16. With such a long mod list and no custom patch for all of them CTDs are inevitable. Your issue is beyond forum help I'm afraid, the only way is to open all your mods in TES5EDIT and see what are the conflicts in the Chillfurrow Farm's actual cell/worldspace. I can assure you that you will come across more of issues like that with your massive list.
  17. I wish mod authors made their screenshots without ENB and the overkill bloom... Nevertheless, it looks quite ok.
  18. I always wanted to try Linux, but somehow never got it... I even have a partition ready for it on my hard drive, it's been there for over a year now :) I am a complete beginner, I've never used Linux before and I know there are lots of different incarnations of that OS. Any experienced users here that can recommend a beginner friendly and modern distribution? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  19. I did try Maxton couple of years ago and I didn't like it so much. It had a few cool features that other browsers lacked at the time, but it was slow and something was really annoying about it, however I cannot recall exactly what it was now... Saying that, more than two years have passed since then and the browser might have evolved significantly. For now I'm happy with Chrome and ill stick with it. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
  20. This is true for any mod. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
  21. Well, he can express his opinion about the game freely :) Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
  22. You just type: [ spoiler] text [ /spoiler] - with no spaces, and voila! No problem, always happy to help, even if it's a little help :)
  23. As I said in my first post, stuff like that is rather beyond my knowledge... I can try to help you troubleshoot, but I don't feel confident enough to suggest the (nomen omen ;) ) root cause and unwillingly ill-advise.
  24. I am still waiting for mine :/ Keep us posted, MG! I'm eager to hear your oppinion!
  25. Looks like it. My guess is it's a bug that's permanently saved in your game. Did you try resetting cells maybe? I don't suppose it will help but you never know. Other solution is to load earlier saves one by one and check if the bug persists. If you come across one where it's not present, you will have the answer :) Between the clean" save and the next buggy one something happened that caused the bug to appear.
