This is correct. The new Unofficial Patches (version 2.0) introduced a "false ESM" . They are now sorted accordingly, each unofficial patch false ESM right after the corresponding main ESM. Go to Unofficial Skyrim Patch: Version History and look up the changelog for version 2.0.0, dated 28.10.2013.

You shouldn't be using mods like this during the opening scene, until out of Helgen dungeon. In fact, it's recommended not to use any game-changing mods during the intro, unless they absolutely have to already be installed when starting a new game (SkyRe is a good example). Texture packs etc. are ok, but game altering mods can definitely mess the intro scene! Not all of them of course, for example STEP:Core mods were tested and are safe to use straight from the beginning.

I was thinking the same thing. If you do use Safety Load you should try enabling the EnableOnlyLoading in the SafetyLoad.ini config file: EnableOnlyLoading = true Yes, SL can be a cause of CTD's when opening menus (barter, map, journal, inventory, looting etc). Setting it as per above will make it only switch on during loading screens to prevent ILS, and it will be disabled in game. The effect it has in game is mainly preventing game freezes, so if you don't come across those, then it's best to set EnableOnlyLoading to true. Otherwise it's the choice between freezes and CTDs :)

I think it searches for both titles and posts. I've seen a few posts on forums that would confirm that seemingly. This one for example.

STEP verdict is that we won't use it for core, that's for sure, as it deviates greatly from Vanilla. I don't think that the discussion for STEP:Extended inclusion ever happened, but Admins would need to confirm. ::EDIT:: Personally - I use it and I love it. It needs a few patches though.

The mod was renamed to Animated Clutter, and now includes (version 1.4) - Falmer chest and tribal falmer chest opening/closing - Doors in Windhelm Gray Quarters now animate when opening - satchel, knapsack animates when opening/closing - trapdoor to the basement in your home if you have Hearthfires is now animated when opening - large ships, katariah have idle animation There is minor clipping with objects on ships, since they don’t move - spider sack - ship trap door - riften sewer hole And a note from the author: I haven't tried them all yet, but it sounds cool - and there are a few animated GIFs on the mod page. I am not convinced about the ships, as another mod tried to do it before (one of the water mods) and it didn't look cool when the boat rocked, but all the stuff on the deck remained static... The other ones are worth trying I think.

Without your modlist it's pretty much a lottery. It could be anything, including stuff like script overload, safety load plugin etc...

I used to use it, but I noticed that some textures were stretched on the meshes in quite a few places, which looked pretty bad. Maybe the new version fixes it, I'll have to check it out.

You surely have a rig to run it flawlessly. Strange. Not sure what to suggest to be honest. Maybe check at what speeds you RAM is running? It may be incorrectly configured.

Hi guys. I just want to share this with you, maybe some of you will be interested in checking this out. This is a new open source, web based OS, created by a Polish programmer. Going off topic a little, but it's not only the UK laws. The whole world is going mad. The governments realised that the total lack of control over the internet contents is a bad thing (in their opinion) and something must be done about it. It's too late though, the internet is too big to control :) Lots of other factors kick in, the plutocracy (as the we no longer have democracy, despite what we're being told by mass media), corporationism and stupid political correctness... Recently the EU parliament voted on a new law (luckily it didn't go through!) that could allow the government to FORCE SHUT any private company if the male-female employees ratio would be lower than 60-40 %. Meaning that if you own a company and employ a 100 people, 40 of them HAVE to be females. And they call this "equal opportunities". What a lots of bollocks...
