  2. Now we just needs something that will get rid of the need for NPC Enchantment Fix SkyProc patches. Still, since SUM has grown to hate me maybe this will cut down on the load for SUM (I vaguely think it is running out of memory with the huge patch it (NPC Enchantment Fix) builds. And perhaps with only one patch to build, switching back to SkyProc instead of SUM would help out.
  3. That's the problem with clipping. It never bothers you until you spot it (Duh - you know what I mean - I don't know how to say this without it being too wordy or insipid), then you can't not see it!
  4. See above for beta patch. Still needs some TS5Edit patching. Does have a few minor bugs in need of patching but worth it IMO.
  5. I'm unconvinced that the glowing outline is inferior. Who knows what a vampiric drain should look like...
  6. Good idea. A nice compromise between unprotected followers who just get themselves killed in silly situations and essential ones who are just damage absorbing tanks. Sounds like it could easily be subsumed into a patch without the need to give up a slot.
  7. This does look very nice. I like the whole vibe connecting magic to words written in arcane languages. It seems more immersive than just magic glows or auras. I haven't downloaded it yet - as I understand it it's just texture replacers. Do they interfere with weapon, armor or body mods? EDIT - Looks like it's just 2 meshes. The darkswirls.dds is also replaced by Ultimate HD Fire Effects. Enchflameproject01.dds is only currently modified by vanilla and HRDLC (at least on my setup).

  10. Reasonable. The other issue with ENB edits to dungeons is that although you as a player are creeping around in the dark, NCPs (i.e., enemies) still use vanilla lighting to spot your creeping about. Annoying to think you are being all stealthy creeping about int he shadows when NPCs can spot you with no problem because the vanilla lighting in the area is actually pretty good.

Reasonable POV, but I don't think even ENBs can overcome the vanilla lighting coming from no particular source, incorrect shadows, etc. They can only bring out the lighting choices already made, not add new sources of light or shadow (or so I think ...). However, even if this is the case the payback for more realistic or enhanced lighting may be too low for the headache involved.
  12. I can't; there 's a big pile of snow on top of it now! Â :) To be fair, I'm not bothered enough by the current situation to make it a priority to investigate and fix it.
  13. Just not interested. Snow tends to blow around and pile up in drifts unless someone is actively managing it (i.e., shoveling).
  14. Yes. egocarib indicated that preset1 was mistakenly included with the mod; I used it as the base to start my changes (after renaming it to default) then saved my settings as Statmonster1. Definitely hope other people start using this - it really makes it easier to set up MCMs when you start a new game, plus it helps remember exactly which settings I like.
  15. No problem with MO. Install both Dynamic Potions and FISS through MO. In game open up Dynamic Potions MCM and set everything the way you want it. Go to the last Dynamic Potions MCM page and Save Preset (or something like that). Then in the future you just go to the last page and Load Preset. I think you have the option to have up to 5 presets which you can name however you would like. (A MAtter of Time only seems to allow one preset as far as I can see). The presets are saved deep in the SKSE subfolder of either MO's Overwrite Folder or in the Mods directory.

  17. Not activating any MCM menus until I got into the keep solved this problem.
  18. With UC it often seems dark when I can't see the horizon (because of buildings, hills, trees) even if the sky is perfectly visible. Like there is not enough ambient light during the day.

Essentially you install them, activate ESP, sort via BOSS, open up your load order in TES5Edit, go to your new ESP(s), expand out all the nodes and look for anything with a conflict.  If there is a conflict decide which mode you want to win and copy that as an override in your Conflict.esp.  I recommend creating your own personal one for any deviations from SR Conflicts - I call mine Statmonster Conflicts Patch.esp).and which nodes from each mod you want. After you have gone through. Neo's you get a hang for this. The advantage of having your own Conflict is if you make a mistake you can junk it but keep all of Neo 's. After doing this run Bash, FNIS if needed, SUM, sort you masters for Conflict patches and SUM in Tes5edit.  Then go in game and test that everything looks ok - this is how you spot floating lanterns or clipping bedrolls. You can then disable stuff in TES5Edit (copy as override into. Conflict, set state to initially disable) or move it in Creation Kit (PitA -ALWAYS back up your files before playing with them in CK and then open in TES5Edit to make sure it made ONLY the changes you wanted). After all this rerun Tes5Edit to sort and check for errors (ITMs, renumbered Form IDs), Bash, SUM, resort masters in TES5Edit and check out in game again). Once you get the hang of it, it's more tedious than difficult for large mods like ETaC. If you have questions ask.Â

  21. SRLE does not use the Enhancer, right? Is that because it is not needed/doe snot work with UC? What does it do?
  22. New OBIS 1.61C no longer has an ITM. When testing the opening (LAL prison, cart, chopping block, tower, burning inn, run inside keep) I kept burning to death when I jumped over to the inn. No damage even standing in the residual flames in tower, but as soon as I jumped to the inn I would burn to death in about 3-5 seconds. (My guess is the PC catches on fire and takes about 10-30 points of burning damage per second.). I could avoid this fate by toggling on tgm until I got out of the inn and started to run for the keep. In the past I have sometimes taken a bit of fire damage in the inn, but never died. I wonder if LAL toggles off player immortality in this opening scene and maybe Deadly Dragons (setting dragons to expert) makes the flames much deadlier. Anyone else ever had this? Suggestions? Thoughts?
  23. I have been playing around a bit with this using A Matter of Time and Dynamic Potions. It works very well with them, saving my settings from one game and then loading up my presets when I create a new character. I hope more mod authors with extensive MCM options start using this. (Complete Crafting Overhaul, Convenient Horses, Deadly Dragons, Frostfall, Immersive Armors, Immersive Creatures, OBIS, Realistic Needs...)
