  1. Yep. I use this and Immersive Patrols (plus ETaC and Dawn of...) to make my cities much more bustling places. Love it.
  2. I would also load it up in TES5Edit and see if there are any conflicts with other ESPs - then make a CR patch for it. I pretty much think you should do this with almost any ESP you add. I have 2 CR patches - one for SR and another Statmonster one for any extra mods I add. This was the SR one staty identical to the guide and the Statmonster one includes all my addititional mods.
  3. Vanilla quest mods? What are you planning on using? Or do you LAL, Gildgreen, etc? Helgen Reborn seems its own beast becuase it has to be installed after Helgen is destroyed.

  5. Yes. SKSE effectively is 256 smaller than it seems using the old way of counting. The 768 = 512 + 256 and the first 256 is not counted by SKSE (for some reason unkonwn to me but probably very clever). So 768 for SKSE = 512 for Sheson (and his Memory Block Logs).
  6. Usually the * catches the normals too, so yes, use them (usually).
  7. @Mangaclub - I played about 13 hours over the weekend. It was very nice. Good FPS. (I used with with ELFX & Exterior but not ELE - patching that seems like a nightmare.) It really brought out the colors and artwork - 101 Bugs were gorgeous as were all the flowery plants (SFO?) Dungeons were quite varied - usually the lights were bright enough to see most of the places but the corners were very dark and a few places without lighting were incredibly dark. I've got to find (or make) more torches! WEBS extended looked amazing. Outdoors shadows and lighting seemed to change quickly and abruptly. (This was particularity noticeable during the Helgen execution intro when the keep shadow would jump periodically.) I had Skyrim.ini set to fSunShadowUpdateTime=0 fSunUpdateThreshold=2.0
  8. What do you have your shadows (SkyrimPrefs.ini) set at? I put secondary at 1024, primary and the other one at 2048.
  9. Re. Falskaar World Map Clouds : The ESP in here only looks like it makes two changes which can (and should be carried over into your Conflict Resolution patch. Since this does not create a dependency it looks like you can then deactivate the Clouds ESP. However, I remembered I hate having clouds obscure the one place on the map I am trying to look at so will probably not use this mod, though the roads one seem good and I will keep it.
  10. I think maybe No Snow needs to mature a bit but shows great promise. (Since I use ETaC I am not looking forward to patching that, maybe some kind soul will make one.)I think the Falskaar map ones look good, thanks for reminding me to go out and grab them.
  11. I'm curious to know that too. Out of prudence I carry it across when I run into it, but it's still a mystery.Sometimes (often) I feel like a Cargo Cultist when modding Skyrim - I don't understand what all of these things mean or do, but trust that if I follow the form everything will work out.
  12. USKP 2.03 includes: OutfitListSoldierSonsNoHelmet erroneously contained entries for studded leather armor when it should only be soldier equipment for the Stormcloaks. (Bug #14907) Does this require patching?
  13. I used this a little bit outdoors. Seems very nice. A couple of observations: Turning on or off DOF has no noticeable effect on screen (at least to me) but gets me another 4-5 FPS, so switched this off. I understand it's a stylistic choice but things seems just a little bit blurry (or maybe it's better described as lacking sharpness around the edges)
  14. This is a mod which has a quest series which allows you to become a Jarl and then build and govern your hold. It's something really missing from the original game where you can't really transition from being an adventurer (and perhaps important person) to being a ruler. It seems to have an enormous amount of detail - quests, NCPs, city building, economics and politics, fighting bandit invaders and rebels, etc. It also seems to allow you to choose several different paths of governing - benevolent, cruel, etc. - each with different consequences.   15. Looks interesting. The quick gathering of arrows could replace that tedious chore and arrows missing breaking is a good idea. (Wrye Bash tweaks can alter than chance to break arrows that hit so that is redundant). Gather up broken arrows for repair is kind of cool, especially for ranger or hunter type characters. But is it worth running extra scripts (and an ESP)? Maybe for immersion for rangers and archers who would gather and repair arrows, perhaps not for others. It might be nice to have small packs dedicated to certain types of play throughs. I know there are some mods I only use because I want a better sneaking experience that I would not bother with if I had a mage or heavy armor warrior who did not rely on sneaking - similarly there are some great magic overhauls I don't bother using as my character almost never uses magic. (I tend to like overhauls that make the primary skills of my character more difficult to use so that the game is a challenge with them but also adds extra details and immersion around that skill to enhance the play through.) Small packs that suggested using mods x,y and z and described the necessary compatibility patches would be handy.

Yeah, though you do see that on occasion when the snow on lower parts of roofs has slide off - but it's a bit unusual, not uniform on every building at exactly thee same spot and you usually see a mound of snow on the ground under the roof where it fell. Still the author seems to be making good progress modding the snowy roofs, hopefully he will keep improving them and work on compatibility (especially with ETaC).

  22. A couple of different version might be nice: 1. Thief, rogue, or other lowlife 2. Educated Mage Or alchemist type. 3. Noble warrior or maybe exiled ranger type. I would like to see a framework that could read text the player (or modder) could unset - preferably something easy to edit like .txt or .ini.
  23. It seems that 99.5% of the time there is no (significant) issue, but how many save and loads do you do in the course if a long play through. You probably won't know right away but once your save is corrupted.... So out of a sense of caution on playthroughs I care about I exit to desktop before resuming. Besides, it makes death something to be avoided.... On the other hand, Gopher does not do this in his lets play and does not seem to gave an issue. (But he is also constantly installing and deleting mods so I might not do everything he does....)
