There's an update out for OBIS (1.61). https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31264 However there is an issue with the MCM. Apparently one of the co-authors has a hot-fix, but it's on a different Nexus page: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12452 -

What about just archiving your downloaded files? ...\Mod Organizer\downloads It's a good idea to save your old downloads but you don't need to keep them on an SSD. -

EDIT- Whoops - didn't see you were trying to do an override. You need to add BUM as an executable in MO (instructions on this near the top of SRLE). EDIT- Open BUM, wait for it to load, right click on Skyfalls...WT.esp In the bottom right of BUM and select Create Override. This makes it active and you will now see it in the upper left (and in red on the lower left too but that doesn't matter for you). Then on the right search for Skyfalls...Edition.esp. Double click on it and it will be placed under ...WT.esp in the upper left. Make sure the drop down next to ...edition.esp says AFTER. Click Save Rule on the right. -

Odd issue today. I added the last few days worth of changes, rebuilt Patches, SUM etc. However Skyrim would not load (stuck on the emblem but no option to choose a game), but it would if I disabled SUM. The issue turns out to be that SUM.esp had its master out of order. Opening it up in TES5Edit v.31 (but not v.30) allowed me to sort them, then it would load fine - I've never seen SUM have out of order masters before or had this issue. The colors aren't good or bad but a guide to whetehr the changes from an ESP are being carried through to the final game. Someteims you want them to, other times you want another ESP to govern that issue. Use the colors as an alert - they say pay attention here and make sure the ESP you want to control this aspect is the one that will do so. -

With the new SKSE 1.7 alpha, do we need to add "-forcesteamloader" to the arguments for SKSE on MO? -

I suspect Deadly (Dangerous?) Traps might work better in practice. -
SKYRIMLE Better Mills Textures by raphou112

Is it worth "wasting" an ESP slot on something that alters just four windmills in the entire game... That said his companion mod that does the same thing to villages and small towns might also be worth looking into... -

Any suggested alternative to Improved Eyes? -
Hmmm... Never heard of this, albeit that definitely would explain why it would work. Not sure about it corrupting the save, however, as it is the exact same information (I think?), just being loaded a second time. My saves are still working (as I crouch behind a mammoth).I can't remember where I first read about this danger and certainly don't have more than an intuitive sense of why it might be dangerous. I don't think it corrupts them every time but just that it has the possibility to do so. If doing anything other than testing I always exit out of the game completely before loading up a session I intend to save and continue with. (This includes never continuing when the game auto reloads after death.) However I notice that Gopher, for example, never does this and it doesn't seem to have harmed his saves in his latest Lets Play series. So maybe I'm completely wrong about this or the risk is very low or largely theoretical - still I'm paranoid....

I added the aMidianBorn textures for IA and, in my opinion, they look awesome - Especially the leather, which my character is wearing.Where can I find that? Nvm. Found it. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29167/? Unfortunately, I only find maybe 4 or 5 armors from Immersive Armors attractive and I'm pretty sure Amidianborn doesn't touch it :-/. The comments say it does not (yet) work with IA v7. You can always open the meshes up in Nifskope and see what textures they point to. If they point to ones Cabal modified then they should work. I'm traveling so I can't check now.Â

If a MCM menu shows up without any content cut back out of MCM and do it again. It seems to lose the plot after a while and needs to be restarted. Is this safe? I thought there was a chance your save will become corrupted if you exit to the main menu and then load it again without exiting the game fully as Skyrim does not flush it's memory completely just by going to the main menu. ACCEPTED Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade (by kryptopyr)
statmonster replied to statmonster's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I really like this idea, and I don't even run vampire and werewolf characters really, lol. I have an idea for a were but never actually played one. Sounds like your overhaul is going to make the Lunar Forge VERY nifty. :) Agreed. Rather than making the enchantment more powerful for werewolves or vampires you could just make it "different". -

UC might have a "film grain" that creates that effect. -

Yes activate both (as your Optimized one only has textures in it - if it has everything then just activate it). -

If the files are extracting from BSAs using MO is this esp still necessary? I tend to think not. -

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50441/? Patches for: REQUIEM - The Roleplaying Overhaul is a popular total overhaul which not only adds its own books but renames many of the Potion, Poison and Atronach Recipes. The Compatibility Patch helps Requiem access the Book Covers Skyrim resources for the modified recipes and the Requiem custom content. It is possible in the future that these resources will be absorbed into Requiem itself which will remove the need for this patch. BSQBN - Better Skill and Quest Book Names adds a prefix to the beginning of Skill Books as well as Books or Notes that start quests or give you a map marker. With this patch, those books will now inherit the Book Covers Skyrim appearance. SKYRE - T3nd0s Skyrim Redone is an insanely popular gameplay overhaul which has a small affect on certain skill books. Since SkyRe repurposes the Lockpicking perk tree as Wayfarer and merges the old Lockpicking and Pickpocket trees into Fingersmith, a Compatibvility Patch is needed. A combined BSQBN + SKYRE patch is available for players who enjoy both mods. TCIY - The Choice Is Yours improves dialogue and quest start options in the game and affects one Note to do with a quest in Markarth. The Compatibility Patch is tiny but necessary for the quests to flow as intended. ASM - Another Sorting Mod as its name suggests is another popular sorting mod. By default, Book Covers Skyrim is released in a Better Sorting/Enhanced Better sorting flavour but some people preferred ASM and requested a Compatibility Patch. Organized Books is another Book Sorting mod. Its main purpose is to alter volume numbers along the lines of "Bookname, Vol. 1 of 4" Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade is, as its name suggests, an overhaul of the Skyrim crafting system. It affects two books - the Light and Heavy Armor Forging and the Bonemold Formula Note. Non-Automatic Skill Books allows the player to choose whether to accept the skill gain from reading a book or not. Both the Normal and Better (Skill prefix) versions are supported.es for

Yep - copy the selected column as override from one mod then copy selected items from another to modify the override. -
This looks really nice. Lots of options to make using alchemy more thoughtful and take away some of the (all too tempting) exploits in the vanilla alchemy system. Suggestions on how to set up the MCM menu options would be good.

It's much simpler. Download mod using MO, begin to install mod using MO, when installing click the data to expand it, uncheck the things you don't want above, finishing installing. -

Try turning off functions in the ENB - DoF, some of the AA, etc. If that doesn't work get a lighter weight ENB (or even one that has no visual effect and just implements the stability changes). It seems the ENB (but not the particular preset) is critical for the stability fixes all those mods will require. At least that's my impression. -

Neo has indicated that Touring carriages sometimes causes an issue. Do you get the same issue if you just take a non-Touring Carriage? BTW, are you spawning extra NPCs? What is the weather like? I think that many scripts that want to apply affects on each NPC, the effective weight is the product of the number of such scripts you are running times the number of NPCs it has to act on, so adding more NPCs and script mods geometrically increases the load. However, given the issue Neo has noted with TC, I suspect your issue is related to a bug in that mod and not trying to do too much and crashing the game under the weight of everything.
