Who needs Star Citizen when you can have Farmville in VR dude?Seriously though, does ****erberg think he's fooling anyone with him saying that they won't interfere with the development of the oculus rift?I don't think I ever wanted any project to crash and burn miserably more than this.

https://www.facebook.com/zuck/posts/10101319050523971 TL;DR: Facebook takes over the Oculus Rift for 2 billions. Lots of indie devs abandoned the ship (including Notch), hopefully more devs will follow. And gamers get -censored- over again, as per usual. Guess the lessons we can learn from this are: 1/- Don't trust kickstarter projects 2/- We should've stuck with the virtual boy, however shitty it was, at least it wasn't owned by a company who'd buy your very house if they could.

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
CJ2311 replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
That flag means an item is used by a quest (or a script/behaviour at least) Removing them might break some quests. Problem is, it's a bit time-consuming to patch them all. anyway they're not wild edits, what I was referring to was cases where an item would be rotated by a couple degrees for no apparent reason or things of that nature. Also as I said before, I'm far from being an expert, I just know to make patches, so you should ask that kind of questions to people who are not just tinkering like me -
Seasons of Skyrim ENB True HDR (by bronze316)

Woops, missed that part in the OP, nevermind then. If you're going to make an actual compare with screenshots though, I guess posting them here would be nice too. :D -

It's new, but it is supposed to have been tested by the authors. Bugs will occur even with some of the older mods, until people report them.I agree though, might have jumped on the hype wagon too soon, but there are some mods that you can just tell are going to be great from the start ::):Also Aurora isn't really a popular mod, so it's pretty easy to miss it actually.Anyway yeah, was just posting to say that those bugs were already fixed. :D -

Try True Vision while you're at it, it's by the same author as Seasons of Skyrim and looks very similar, but without the yellowish tint -

I thought the same at first, but it wasn't as dark ingame... Also there's always lighting options with the ENB menu. -

Z did compares of this ENB a while ago, and that's pretty much what convinced me to use it. It looks extremely good and realistic without too much snow blind effect or too much darkness. I still prefer Skylight ENB though :P -
Edit out plugin from Step patch using tes5edit
CJ2311 replied to dreadflopp's question in xEdit Support
I think screenshots would be more useful in this case, so here you go: 1. This is what I get after right clcking on check for errors with a (semi)empty amidianborn_skyforge_weapons.esp (so that's basically what I have at step 5. https://i.imgur.com/mxQ3QqC.png As you can see, there are 2 errors, one with 11002DC5 (skyforge steel shield), and one with 110022F6 (Wolf shield) in STEP Extended Patch (since those 2 records were in amidianborn_skyforge_weapons.esp and now TES5Edit can't find them since they've been deleted) You can also see that I highlighted a line that mentioned quests, that's what I was referring to when I said to ignore quests, so we'll not be deleting the 00023B6C and 0004D8D6 records. (since they're both quests) 2. Here you can see the two corresponding records (11002DC5 and 110022F6) on the left pane. https://i.imgur.com/nobLyIl.png Simply right click on these two and select remove, then save the file, and you should be fine. Note that this method doesn't always work though -

There are no mods in REGS that will break if you clean them at the moment. Only exception is the REGS patches that might have a couple ITM records to cancel out unwanted wild edits to certain mods. (I'm looking at you, 3DNPC) Well you'll be happy to know that all the mods that were added add except one (And the Realms of Daedra) do indeed add dungeons. I wanted to add a few more that I played through before and enjoyed, but some of them conflicted severely with other mods, and others were not really adequate for the pack since they're not exactly what you'd call lore-friendly. -

It's not compatible with Moon and Star's background (and navmesh/terrain) sadly, that mod adds a dunmer village called Little Vivec there. (with extremely good voice acting for the NPCs too) -

By delete, I meant find the record that has an error in it (on the left pane of TES5Edit), then right-click it and select "Remove". -

Version 3.2.1: Guide-only Update: [*]Quite a few quest mods: [*]Added And the Realms of Daedra by ThirteenOranges. [*]Added No Mercy by ThirteenOranges. [*]Added Moon and Star by GanXingba. [*]Added The Shadow of Meresis by Hebrock. [*]Added The Lost Wonders of Mzark by Guardly & MrCasual. [*]Removed Aurora Village. I'd like to point out that all these mods need cleaning, I didn't save the ITM/UDR count so I can't display it atm. (Especially considering that I'm getting a speed of 20-40 kbps on the nexus atm) -

Well the think about Karliah's armor is that only Karliah is going to use it :P @Dakkon: Yeah I meant cleaning the ITMs/UDRs. Also, update very soon with a few more quest mods. -

I've reported those wild edits to Piano a while ago, and I'm sure she'll get around to fixing them with her next update. I don't want to forward something like that in the REGS - Cities.esp because some people might use mods that make the armor available for the player or stuff like that, and for such a small enchantment that'll likely only work if you have some mod that make followers understand the concept of stealth is... eh :P -
That OBIS - Requiem patch must be for an older version of Requiem or has had a master removed in a silly manner via T5E or WB. The referenced record that cannot be resolved is supposed to reference that REQ_StalkerFaction. For the ICW mod, I suggest copying the NPC records from Requiem/any overhaul and only forwarding the package changes from the ICW mod, because the mod author who made ICW made a lot of silly and unnecessary changes to the NPCs' stats, perks, and behavior.

wanted Purposeful Save as Draft (autosave already included)
CJ2311 replied to z929669's question in Forum Support
Story time: I just went afk after having started to write a reply on the forum, the "last autosave" prompt did appear, yet when I came back and refreshed the page by mistake, my message was gone. So yeah, that auto save function doesn't look that perfect... -

Eh the wall is vanilla indeed, but it was moved by BFT (as I said, wild edit, cause I doubt the author would put a wall in the middle of the road intentionally) I just disabled it in the BFT HF patch though, didn't bother to shift it around. -

Okay, just finished checking, More Bandit Camps does not conflict with anything (including Moon and Star) as long as you clean it.Not cleaning that mod might cause some issues near dragon bridge and with an upcoming quest mod. - Well, BFT only had a single conflict with ETaC, and that one is caused by ETaC moving everything in Ivarstead.- BFT doesn't add anything else than carts and horses actually. This was a wild edit caused by the stupid CK. - Well all the weight feature and the disabling fast travel part are optional in BFT too, there's an MCM menu to control that stuff... Anyway, I used the ETaC - BFT-HF patch right now to remove the 3 bits of wall in the middle of the road. Just redownload the ETaC patches. I didn't update the non HF version though. -

https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?showuser=5686364Forum profiles are your friend.@statmonster: Never had any issue with using NPC appearance replacers (Everybody's Different, Better Vampire Fangs and Eyes, Xvision Children, Immersive College of Winterhold...) mid-game.But of course I have no idea on how this particular mod works :P -

CJ2311 replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
It might be a bit complicated to use the CK in that case, the easiest way would actually be to use TES5Edit: Load up both mods, and see if there are any conflicting records between the two mods in the worldspace group.Otherwise, simply traveling there ingame would work too. Either way, I'm actually waiting for the stupid workshop to work so I can add two mods by thirteenoranges, so I'll just check for all and any compatibility issues between that bandit camps mod and everything in REGS. Nice picture on that page, hehe.I'll have a look at the stone wall you're talking about... I've been using ETaC with BFT-HF for a long time and never noticed something like that. -
SR:LE + STEP extended seems like the worst idea ever, SR:LE is not a pack based on STEP, it's a standalone guide D:

Yeah they conflict in one cell navmesh-wise, and 2 cells landscape-wise. Can be fixed in mere minutes, nothing CTD-inducing but NPCs would be messed up. I think I'm going to go for Undeath + Moon and Star, because 2 quests mods represent more content than a village, plus Aurora Village and the village added by Moon and Star don't really have compatible background stories... Quite the opposite in fact. (Nords and Dunmer don't like each other much) EDIT: Nevermind, undeath does way too many changes to vanilla stuff and it does it in such a manner that it will actually conflict with magic mods, perk overhauls, creature mods (SIC), and could lead to many bugs. I don't think it qualifies for this guide. -

Currently thinking about making a patch for: Undeath + Moon and Star OR Aurora Village + Moon and Star What do people think? -

USKP navmesh fixes are fixes for the vanilla game's navmesh, not for mods' navmeshes. If you forward USKP navmeshes, you might mess up the connection bewteen navmeshes.
