  1. I think I saw a post where she said she will :)
  2. Ohh!! That's what makes rainy sunday best day of the month! edit: After paying attention to the changelog... "Added GetEquipped conditions to breakdown weapons to help prevent player from breaking down equipped items" Yes, yes, YES!!! krypto, you're the man! Err I mean, the woman.
  3. Can you point me to the discussion about the ini changes? (I don't think reading the changelog is enough to understand it all in this case) And yes, I thought to add it all manually anyway. However... at least one of the settings has a comment next to it saying it's controlled by the MCM, so I really am not sure what approach to take.
  4. I browsed some galleries on Flickr and it seems like there's no way to copy image's address or display an image in full resolution. Viewing controls are a little bit counter-intuitive as well, because clicking on an image opens the next one, which is something that really pisses me off.
  5. I might give Flickr a shot. Couldn't find anything with ok interface at all. The gallery functionality seems acceptable. I have no idea about details, but I hope there's a way to have account deleted if I decide it's not what I want. Now that I think about it, Google has Picasa-something image hosting as well...
  6. There is an ini file included in the mod, and regarding adding those settings to Skyrim's inis, Nexus says "You don't need to follow these steps if you used a mod installer. The ini changes are already included." I am not sure I understand. I see the file in the mod's folder, but I am not sure that MO actually has any such functionality as adding ini entries from extra files to the main ones.
  7. There are some good tips there. Thanks. So shall I stack resistances as much as possible? And what about the generic one?
  8. If you can get used to it sound pretty demotivating I'll see how it looks, though. I've just found Flickr. Anyone has any experience with that? Might be a bit of an overkill, plus I see it belongs to Yahoo, which makes me want to run away and don't stop for 1000km.
  9. The effort continues. I've just removed Better Towns Textures, because I've realized no matter how patched, it's still incompatible with ETaC. Plus, the author told me he is retired from modding - at least for now. I will also start a new game probably in a week, after new version of Civil War Overhaul is released. I hope that (new game, not CWO) will help as well, because I did some questionable changes to the current game a few times.
  10. All readers see this post. I am about to change my image hosting provider again. Could anyone recommend me something that can act as simple images storage (to store images without them being visible without direct link), but also has some gallery functionality? Comfortable to use interface (=not Imgur ) reguired!
  11. In case anyone uses CoT with Skyrim Flora Overhaul (I assume lots of people), I noticed there is one conflicticting texture - tundragrassobj01.dds It's a huge difference, and I don't quite understand why is it even present in CoT. SFO: CoT:
  12. How do you mean, Heartfires version?
  13. Ah, so I am supposed to level enchanting to the max as soon as possible? It makes sense I guess... Getting those grand soul gems is probably going to be a bit tricky, because the best I have after 30 levels is one greater :P Those 3 main resistances, should I put them all on the main set of armour I use? Reading a little bit about that, isn't the generic resist magic effect better than individual resistances?
  14. Hm, looks like archery is much more important than I thought. I could never hit anything that was moving, so I kind of completely stopped shooting anything. Does nord 50% frost resist work against spells? That might explain why I was slowed down to crawling, but didn't die right away :P
  15. I think I messed up big time. I actually feel really stupid On the other hand, I guess this can happen to lots of new players. Anyway... I got to level 29 and realized my characted is total crap. I can kill normal monsters and some regular bandits (and that sort of stuff), but whenever I run into something slightly tougher and it's more than two specimens, I am pretty much dead. Anything that casts spells gives me the most trouble. Basically, something either burns me to death before I can get within range (movement speed is horrible in combat), or throws some frost spells at me, and in the worst case I am pretty much paralyzed, or at least slowed down to crawling. Trying to use sprint doesn't help and only helps me out of all stamina, and I can't even get close to the enemy, because quite logically it starts backing off when I start to move. I think I unintentionally took the worst possible approach: I just kept playing, whacking stuff with sword, putting vast majority of perks in combat skills and smithing. Except for occasional healing spell in the beginning I never touched a spell. I never touched alchemy or enchanting either, and it seems now I am starting to pay the price Looks like I could use some very basic, common sense gameplay progression tips.
  16. I saw that one I won't comment about it either. BTT won't get updated with that until NSuTR is finished, says one of the (sticky?) posts.
  17. Even with ETaC patch, Dawnstar is messed up :( There might be other conflicts, but I haven't seen the other two towns besides Falkreath and Dawnstar. I am going to disable the mod for now and stick with ETaC, I guess.
  18. I have to say upfront that I HATE this mod. I really do. It makes me completely skip anything Heartfires-related. Nexus link It's situated about halfway from Riverwood to Whiterun, and the spot is just perfect. More screenshots on Nexus, but unfortunately they are of poor quality, messed up with some super weird ENB settings. P.S. Anyone else not surprised the author of a house with sauna is finnish?
  19. I have to say it really improved a lot since I switched to LOOT, but it currently has its own problems - bugged metadata, resulting in mods being placed where they shouldn't be even with specific conditions defined in masterfile. I am also almost certain it has nothing to do with graphics, so I will not try to use lower resolution textures for the main mods. I did however switched to normal resolution Beards and Brows, and will look for more minor mods like these which have non-super hires rextures available, where it probably won't be noticeable. So I will wait until next LOOT beta (which might be the last before official release btw) and meanwhile dig into the mods and try to find some possible conflicts. Thus far I:- Removed the weathers plugins from RLO (which shouldn't be used after all).- Removed interior fog v2 (which 1) isn't needed and 2) author specifically says it shouldn't be used with RLO anyway).- Edited metadata in LOOT so GDO loads in proper order. No apparent results from that, but that doesn't mean it didn't help a tiny little bit. There are also new versions of a few significant mods going to be relased before the end of the month, which might or might not help.
  20. Is there a mod that changes the date and time format when looking at save games? I assume this is hardcoded in the game though. Another great thing would be the possibility to name saves, but I guess it's the same deal.
  21. Nope, it doesn't, sadly. I guess you can use the patch then, if you don't want to manually move plugins in the list.
  22. Hey it's not like the authors are automatically always right But after seeing it fixed by simply changing the order, I have to assume in this particular case it was true I still absolutely don't get it how could GDO change stats on weapons :O_o:
  23. Well, I guess the author of GDO should know better, right? And changing load order did fix it - for me at least.
