Do you apply bash tags to the dlcs?
Kelmych replied to Van555's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Probably. It sounds reasonable. -
Using this doesn't affect the STEP core patch or the STEP Extended patch since Immersive Armors and Immersive Weapons aren't included in these patches since these mods are not in the STEP mod list. You might need to get compatibility patches for mods you use that aren't in the STEP list.

Does TES5Edit Cleaning affect the 2.N Patches?..
Kelmych replied to Squaresoft's topic in Step Skyrim LE Guide
You can't do anything about undeleted navmeshes in the the DLCs. Don't clean skyrim.esm, by the way. When you enter long lists it helps if they are put inside spoiler tags. Select the "code" ("<>")icon in the ribbon and then select code type spoiler. -
I'll check in the game and see.

Wasteland Doctor perk from FWE can't handle head injuries, you need Wasteland Surgeon. I thought regular doctors could handle head injuries.

Mod Organizer 2 Discussion and Feedback
Kelmych replied to TechAngel85's question in Mod Organizer Support
Installing any games or utilities for games (e.g., Steam, FO4Edit and MO) in a User Access Controlled (UAC) folder (e.g., C:\Program Files) almost always causes some problems with access even if the folder is set to allow all users full access. MO should not usually be need to be set to run as administrator; I haven't installed Win 10 yet so I don't know if it needs to have administrative privileges in Win 10. My first suggestion would be to move these to a folder that isn't UAC controlled since the problems you describe might be related to access. -
STEP guide for cognitively challenged individuals
Kelmych replied to kittytessapuppy's question in General Skyrim LE Support
One of the major capabilities of MO is that it supports multiple profiles. Each profile has a potentially different set of mods. This would allow you to have one profile for the main play and another for testing, and even additional different profiles for different purposes such as several different sets of mods for testing. Each mod is installed once and can be used in as many profiles as you want. -
The Super market is tough at any level, especially with the better AI that MMM brings. I went in gradually, periodically pulling back to make sure I didn't get trapped.
-
What difficulty level are you using in Fallout 3? FWE and MMM are designed for use with normal difficulty or one step harder?

I haven't looked at the plugins in FO3Edit yet but I plan to do so soon.

SKYRIMLE Vivid Weathers - a complete Weather and Visual overhaul
Kelmych replied to Mangaclub's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Interesting comparisons in the video. They are consistent with what I've been noticing as I use it. The exterior darkness in vanilla is often quite dark unless it happens to be clear. I generally have to use a torch or my mage light spells. -
I've been looking at it since it was added a few weeks ago since it seems quite interesting. It isn't apparent to me when I read the Nexus page that the author has gotten permission for all the resources used. In particular a revised version of the "Paradox Merged RH_Ironsight" is used in this mod as opposed to a separate patch file. The author of the Paradox Ignition mods says on the Nexus page "You cannot use these files anywhere for any reason without asking me (hairylegs222) first." I'm not sure whether permission to do this has already been obtained. The author gives credit but does not indicate permission.

Several mods including FWE change the Reservist's Rifle to a Drifter's Laser Rifle. In FO3Edit I show a lot of mods changing records of the rifle. Any mod that changes the weapon model records might remove the ability to use WMK mods with it (the name doesn't matter, just the model records). I don't know what DALCO does to it; I don't use it. You have an old version of TWPC; the new versions have different names and are each setup to work with a specific set of mods. I don't generally use UniqueWeaponsRetexture, so I don't know what it does to the Reservist's Rifle. I don't know whether the RH_Ironsights version of the RR allows mods; it does change the weapon model.

A Few Questions about Installing STEP
Kelmych replied to spizone's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Dragon King it a title that depends on how many posts you have had; Kelmych is the name I'm using. Hope you enjoy Skyrim. -
I've had problems with CASM on older hard drives, newer hard drives, and SSDs. It's a tougher game than Fallout NV; danger is clearly present as soon as you leave Vault 101. It's all too often easy to get inside a building and then find that there are some tough bad NPCs you didn't notice as you entered, or who entered after you. But of course you already knew this haven't played a lot of RPGs.

A Few Questions about Installing STEP
Kelmych replied to spizone's question in General Skyrim LE Support
The installation order affects which resources like textures overwrite other resources. Load order is completely different. This is the order for the plugins (esp and esm files). LOOT is used for plugin load order. What you are calling STEP order is installation order. Yes, installing new plugins can change the plugin load order when LOOT is run. STEP includes instructions for any special LOOT rules needed. -
There are WMK entries for mods to the Reservist Rifle. Do you have one of these mods and it can't be installed?

Much better

1. Yes 2. I'm sure there are more. I'll look for some additional examples. -

Do you apply bash tags to the dlcs?
Kelmych replied to Van555's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
I ran the script again on the individual plugins. I didn't get the same result so I must have had more than one plugin loaded. The correct tags are the "{{BASH:Names}}" for PointLookout and for BrokenSteel: "{{BASH:Actors.ACBS,Actors.AIPackages,C.Water,Delev,Factions,Graphics,Relev,Stats}}" The other DLC plugins don't need tags. -
SKYRIMLE Vivid Weathers - a complete Weather and Visual overhaul
Kelmych replied to Mangaclub's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I noticed the Dragonborn compatibility plugin is no longer present; I assume it isn't needed any longer? I extracted the file I downloaded into a folder and then re-archived it with 7zip (I used the non solid option). MO read this file without any problems. Weird. -

I had redownloaded it again and gotten the same problem. I opened it in 7zip without any problem and created a folder with the files I needed from the mod. Does the MO error indicate that it can't extract the files or that it the Fomod doesn't work the way it expects? -
SKYRIMLE Vivid Weathers - a complete Weather and Visual overhaul
Kelmych replied to Mangaclub's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I downloaded the new version 1.2 of Vivid Weathers. When I try to use Mod Organizer 1.3.11 to install it I get an "Extracting error (9)" error. The archive file opens properly when I use 7zip. Any idea why this might happen? I've never seen this before with MO even when I open larger files. The previous version of Vivid Weathers had no problems installing.
