wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff
phazer11 replied to Iroha's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
@Iroha how would we install Mighty Magick (if we decide to) if we're using say... qotsafans Miscellaneous ReProccer + LeveledLists + Destruction Tweak Atronach 50 Patch? @qotsafan how would I go about making a compatibility patch for your patches? I'd like a version of Pre ReProccer WA Fixes IW aMidianSS Patch for my mod list i.e. adding Immersive Armors and Jaysus Swords on top of yours. If you don't know or have time to explain I understand I only ask because I'm iffy (unsure of myself) enough on making compatibility patches normally but I'd also have to make it work for the reproccer. -
CTD, maybe Ill try a merged patch?

Out of curiousity how many items (records) does your bashed patch say it changes (select it in WB and it will say something like Description: DATE Records Changed: NUMBER) -

If you get rid of a mod especially one like ASIS you SHOULD make a new game. At the very least follow one of the save file cleaning guides. I think there are a few on the forums here or the wiki. -

There's always SkyRe it makes things much tougher. I mean I had to go down in game difficulty from Master to Adept until I got used to things and now I'm playing on expert but it's very (very) unforgiving. -

It's probably just ASIS IIRC it's very... dated I guess you'd call it. You tried following Iroha's guide and cutting out the bits about SkyRe and the magic mods, etc.? -

Well do you have Ars Metallica and SkyTEST installed and enabled? -

Another likely cause is running an overlay (FPS OSD) from say MSI-Afterburner with an ENB. Skyrim Performance Monitor's overlay seems to be just fine though (although it seems to cause the in-game ENB settings screen to cease functioning). -
Alright so I'm thinking to play the game with the heaviest ENB settings I like I'll need to drop the resolution down a little bit from 1600x900 to 1440x810 or so. 1600x900 is an acceptable resolution for me though I prefer 1920x1080 (this is the native resolution) for normal usage like web browsing etc. In order to use 1600x900 or 1440x810 with the Borderless Windows (the two I know of) I have to set my screen resolution to whatever resolution I wish to game in. Now normally I would just deal with 1600x900 and leave it there it's not too bad on screen for normal usage. However going from 1600x900 to 1440x810 seems (oddly) like an even bigger jump than from 1920x1080 to 1600x900 and everything is just too large (the icons the taskbar, etc. even set as small as possible) for me to be comfortable with. So in order to play the game at 1440x810 I have to set my screen resolution to 1440x810 and change it back to either 1600x900 or 1920x1080 when I'm done playing. This gets rather irritating, so much so that I've considered just using fullscreen mode... except for the fact that using the borderless windows add some key things. 1. They they seem to help smooth out some of the stuttering (maybe placebo effect idk it just seems to help) 2. They allow me to alt-tab out of the game without the game committing suicide when I alt-tab back in. Sorry for the rambling (and everything else I come on this forum for) it's just irritating and on top of working out the bugs in my install it's just (>v<). I'd probably even settle for something that would just allow me to alt-tab out without it taking the plunge from a skyscraper (metaphorically speaking) while playing in fullscreen at this point. Will, Neo, or Monty move this somewhere more appropriate if you feel it should be placed elsewhere please. I just thought this would be fine.

Gyro Shares a Bit About His Computer Refresh
phazer11 replied to Gyro's topic in General Game Discussion
I'm not anymore but the competition was to load up three GFX cards and get the highest draw possible (on video) via any means in my case I loaded up IIRC Furmark for one of them and used Folding @ Home to load up the other two. Apparently CoolerMaster was pleased with the results everyone got so they decided to give us all the cool swag I mentioned last time. If you're looking for roominess nothing beats a Full Tower case unless you go with a server shell or similar professional rack. As far as performance I've never needed or wanted one but several friends have made some rather nice HTPC (I still prefer the PS3) with Micro ATX boards and Mid Tower Cases. Most of them use i5's I think with 4-8GB of RAM Blu-Ray playback (file based at least) is easy enough using VLC using the "Use GPU Accellerated Decoding" option under Input and Codecs I think some of them use GTX 640's (or whatever the highest GDDR3 EVGA 600 series one is) -
You know what I wish they (the SkyUI team) would do? If they could somehow make the MCM menu config settings (or make an option to allow you to save to file) save to a say .ini so you didn't have to go in an set everything up every time you start a new game (~10 mins each time for me). As far as the OP's issue I don't have it since I find the coloured icons distracting.

I actually have two huge cases. I won a CoolerMaster Storm Trooper Case along with 5 CoolerMaster Excaliber and 5 CoolerMaster TurbineMaster Mach 1.8 120mm fans, a CoolerMaster 1050W Silent Pro Hybrid, CoolerMaster Quickfire Pro keyboard, and a kill-a-watt for an Overclocking power draw contest using 3 graphics cards (my current wimpy GTX 460 768mb and two GTX 450's (I would use them in SLI but they're mismatched gigabyte GDDR3 and EVGA GDDR5)) and you'll never guess who sponsored the contest :P. My old HAF 932 (custom paint) is just collecting dust with my old fans in it waiting for re-purposing. If I win or am gifted new parts (most of a system) I'm going to gift my friend this one with my old HAF 932. As far as entertainment centers go I have my Onkyo Surround Sound hooked up to TV/Desktop Monitor via an HDMI cable. There's also one HDMI cable for my Desktop, PS3 feeding into the receiver and I still have multiple connection options if I need to hook something else up (3 HDMI, 4 Composite and RCA, 2 Optical Audio, and a few others). I use my PS3 for most stuff it's nice Blu-Ray playback and all I need to do is either encode or mux video into a .mp4 and viola plays on the PS3 via the HDD plus it does Youtube and Netflix. -
You can run Wrye Bash through Mod Organizer and have it make you a bashed patch I believe the instructions are on the wiki in the ModOrganizer guide. Go to the top of the page and click wiki and it should be on the main page of the wiki.

Oh it would? I was really just talking about the section for the ones like "Pre ReProccer WA Fixes IW aMidianSS Patch" since you already had a Jaysus Option via the "qotsafans Miscellaneous ReProccer + LeveledLists + Destruction Tweak Atronach 50 Patch" -
Well yes that is what I was asking but I think I figured out which it was after posting that which I posted via an edit. I used your "SR Useful Only" SkyrimPrefs.ini settings and turned some things down slightly (mainly shadows) I was getting pretty amazing performance since without those settings I couldn't see as far AND was on average running ~35 FPS (29-37) outdoors with ENB. With them I was getting between 25-51 FPS outdoors with the same ENB settings. My main issue was there was no vsync so I experienced vtearing in some spots like dungeons and occasionally outdoors. What are your settings in Nvidia Inspector? I'd appreciate you posting some screenshots of them even if they are mainly from the Nvidia guide on the wiki. I'd like to do some more testing but I keep getting the tearing with vsync off and less performance with it on I used Nvidia Inspector to set a 30 fps limit but it was acting weird my fps would drop suddenly from 29.9fps to 20 in some spots (like it was going to freeze) and then go back up. Using the driver enforced fps seemed to eliminate the stutters except for the fps dips which I did not get without the limit.

Attach your log to your post via the advanced reply (new reply button). If it's not working it's probably too big so use 7zip to compress it and then attach it. As for your weird issue try re-installing both Realistic Ragdolls and Force and XP32 Skeleton (ticking the prefer integrate FOMOD installer in ModOrganizer Settings or unticking it if it's already ticked) -
I haven't gotten around to it (still working out the kinks in my current mod list) but it has been included in Iroha's SkyRe edit of Skyrim Revisited. Though to be honest I probably won't use it unless it's REALLY convincing as I personally have not experience any true "recoil" from any of the "pigstickers" (bows) I've used I can believe the crossbows though and certainly the guns (ah the shotgun...)

Never used Dynavision but am trying it out to see how it performs fps hit wise versus ENB DoF. Always try a new game when adding or removing mods (mostly after removing) if you want to ensure the best possible environment and least possible amount of problems. Now as for that yo likely have issues with the number of things in your menu's. Post your BOSS log please. Though tbh if you're in say the main menu (esc) and you CTD then there's probably a problem I would guess from your unclean save. -

No. Autosaving period is IN GENERAL not recommended. The blacksmithing thing is a bit of an unknown the only thing some of us can figure out is that the more you add to it the more unstable it becomes. Try out Kryptopyr's Crafting Mod and disable for example Heavy Armor if your character doesn't use it and disable Light Armor if you have to craft something for a follower that uses Heavy Armor. -

Auto save mod? Auto saving is an invention of the evilest of Daedra and should be cleansed by Meridia's light. -
Gyro Shares a Bit About His Computer Refresh

Yeah that does look nice mate. How much did that TITAN set you back ~$1100? Just a bit overkill IMO but it should still be glorious for a few years. I'm personally looking to refresh my desktop as well though I don't need many parts. I need to get a new graphics card desperately (the one currently in my desktop is a GTX 460 768 with a VERY high OC) My processor will probably be ok for a while it's a 2500k with a 5 GHz OC I have a lot of cooling. If I can get the dough I'll probably go for a full watercooling loop my old H60 all-in-one cooler croaked so it's on air atm which is a bit weak for a 5GHz OC so I've decreased the OC to 4.5 GHz until I can get proper cooling. I have a bit over $110 through the EVGA store to spend so if I see a deal I'll probably get a GTX 670 4GB (most likely) or 680 4GB (only if it's a steal). When I saw some SSD's on sale in the later part of April I jumped on it. Two Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB SATA3 SSD's for $340 with shipping. Course I'll have to wait a bit my old ASUS G73SW laptop's (Best Buy GIMPED version with the 1GB Video Card) circuitry for the battery and power jack (laptop couldn't even stay on while plugged in) fried. I'm hard on electronics and most people think I'm crazy for buying from Best Buy but their replacement plan is AWESOME I got a new ASUS G75VX and only had to pay for a new plan. It's what I'm using for Skyrim right now and I have to say I'm surprised it's playing Skyrim with an ENB as well as it is (up to 160FPS with VSync disabled and about 35 on average with heavy ENB). -
The MCM menu option did not remove the umbrellas from the worldspace i.e. as soon as you started the game with the previous version the world would be populated with umbrellas also the MCM menu option did not remove the umbrellas it just removed them from the crafting menus. This one (AFAIK) has them disabled completely until you activate it via them MCM. I supported the move to remove the umbrellas as a default and make it completely optional however people apparently disliked the snowshoes as well but idk why.

Qot if you see this can you add a pre-reproccer patch for WAF - IW-Jaysus and Skyforge Steel please? -
How did you get images 3,4,6 and 7 in post 17? They look awesome and what is the performance hit? Granted you have a beefy 680 so I'm assuming the fps is from that card? Oh AND you have a 580 for physx... I just tried your useful tweaks (last one) and it actually increased my FPS a bit with ENB and o.o what sorcery is this? I was getting up to 51 FPS (25-51)outdoors (compared to my average (and max) of 35 and between 54-60 indoors. Granted I decreased my resolution from 1600x900 to 1440x810 (and decreased the grass distance to 20k, + plus shadow distance to 6k and used my normal shadow settings) but damn and that was without borderless window and there weren't that many stutters so uh O.O <- Color me confused Also I noticed I was getting v tearing in dungeons and some (not much) outdoors. Just noticed vsync wasn't enabled.
