  1. I totally agree especially as a lot of the content (especially on consoles) is already on the disc and *cough* simply needs an unlock code.
  2. The modded with ragged optional is IMO by far the best with the glow being a meh second.
  3. Just ran it with logging disabled and got a crash in the wilderness with a Windows Error reporting dialog. Here's the Skyrim Performance Monitor screenshot. It was running on battery power (trying to keep the battery from developing a memory) but received about the same FPS as normal the dips are from it not being able to compensate as much as on AC power.
  4. No idea but then again I'm not using SkyRealism ENB anymore; I'm using Aiyen's Skylight ENB.
  5. From what I understand you do not need the WAF patch for aMidianBorn Skyforge weapons any more Neo, Krypt or Cabal would have to confirm but I believe Cabal fixed it and as I didn't see any issues when looking at the mods in question via TES5Edit I didn't see any point in the multi mod patch anymore especially since I don't need it for SkyRe
  6. I was lurking the place I go to for help if I'm having trouble stabilizing my overclock or in depth tech questions and noticed this little gem. If you don't have a Bioware Account sign up or if you do log in and you'll be able to get the DLC's for free. I don't own the games on PC yet and it let me do so. Thought I'd pass it along. Link
  7. Which Borderless Window? The SKSE plugin or Simple Borderless Window?
  8. Well I removed it and I wouldn't say that everything is hunky dory yet but so far I've only gotten an infinite loading screen. I'll post my two longer logs and see what you make of them. I think the one with the infinite loading screen is Papyrus.2 Going to see if disabling logging let's me continue from the save I made just before the infinite loading screen. Up to infinite loading screen.7z
  9. LMAO sounds like something newermind did for teh lulz
  10. Anyone else have a heck of a time getting SKSE 4.1 to recognize the new skse version? I still don't think I've gotten it to work we will see.
  11. Anyone try the update to SkyRe yet?
  12. I would say the Dual Sheath Redux issue is not normal I've reinstalled Skyrim Revisited at least 2 times and never seen this problem. Are you running any extra mods and are you sure you have the appropriate Dual Sheath redux patches installed?
  13. No I said for most items (mods) you would at maximum have 2k textures and 1k normal maps. Normal maps are usually denoted by _n after the file name. However, I would personally not go over 1k textures and normals for most mods as the increase in quality is really not comparable to the increase in instability in my opinion. Also if following my advice download the authors 1k version if available. For example I ran a test because I was bored between optimizing Skyrim HD 2k Textures - Full version to 1k and the Lite version to 1k. The optimized and resized Lite version was IIRC at least ~50MB smaller and less blurred.
  14. Well unless I'm mistaken you should reinstall Climate of Tamriel and not use the Hardcore Dungeons and Warm Interiors options. If you really want those effects you can usually use an ENB to create the effect you desire. Yes you can re-run Climates of Tamriel installer as the compatibility patches are in (or should be) your Sounds of Skyrim folder.
  15. @xiamthewalrusx, Very detailed thanks for going to the trouble. @Iroha - But as I'm going to be playing with ENB it would make sense to use it during my testing. At any rate I will try removing Real Shelter.
  16. Yes it is worth it. There are many threads on this matter you really can't get away with 2k textures for landscape at the very least.. At most II would say 2k with 1k normals but even then... also yes you should optimize the textures.bsa and the HRDLCs
  17. Why do you say without ENB?
  18. I believe I installed the SkyRe compatibility patch for Jaysus swords and I use Sharlikrans version. As far as Real Shelter I wish it wasn't needed but it raining under roofs really bothers me; you said you mentioned it before? Anyone have an alternative?
  19. Exotic problem? And yes using the script from USKP version 1.32b fixed it I was able to complete the dungeon. Now I'm trying to solve my freezes. https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=2779&action=lastpost
  20. I'll post the log. And that was the mod's position unchanged from the time of the freeze. Mod info for Info 6 23 2013.7z
  21. 32nd mod? That would be Bring Out Your Dead.
  22. Yes this is a new save. I've been doing nothing but completely new saves especially if I add or remove saves or rerun SUM, etc.
  23. Yeah I know... but I can't keep beating my head against the proverbial wall much longer. If I could figure this out on my own I would. Ok so I've given up on using any sort of resource monitor as they never seem to give accurate info (likely because they can't) but 95-97% of my freezes or CTD's occur in the wilderness. Now it's mostly freezes and I don't think it's VRAM or the RAM limit as it occurs even when I decrease my monitor and game resolution down to 1280x720 from 1600x900. I'm also using optimized 1k textures for all landscape and the largest resolution textures I have are my armors which have also been optimized (2k at most in this case) I'm posting one of my latest logs at the bottom of this thread; I have more if you wish me to post them. If needed I can work up a mod list though at the moment the only non Skyrim Revisited mods or mods not in the SkyRe thread are The Black Sacrament Armor by AmethystDeceiver, Think to Yourself Messages, Real Shelter, Real Rain, Immersive Armors, Immersive Weapons, and Jaysus Swords, Unlimited Rings and Amulets, Guess the Distance and Blacksmith Forge Water Fix. Papyrus.0.7z
  24. Thanks man. I'll try it out on my next actual game. Currently still trying to ruthlessly crush all resistance out of my install... I mean getting all the little kiddies in the sandbox to play nicely with one another... wait I mean uh well...
  25. Did his legs keep you warm? You probably don't remember because your brain tried to delete the experience. There are counselors for this kind of thing.
