  1. The characters look alright to me. Have you tried adjusting you FOV to a higher number that should help if you "think" they're too big
  2. Well mine won't help you too much as I'm using SkyRe in addition to Skyrim Revisited as well as having disabled several mods. I posted it in my freeze thread though. I'm sure someone will post theirs though.
  3. Well first off you did disable DUEL when you installed ASIS right? ASIS might be the reason some of the bashed patches changes aren't being carried over (never used ASIS so no idea)
  4. I have talked to WilliamImm about this though in relation to SkyRe mods some of the compatibility patches for SkyRe overrule the bashed patch which if you're using say Unlimited Rings and Amulets is a problem. I don't believe it is a problem with the bashed patch per se but a problem with the load order of the bashed patch. Do you have any mods that are after your bashed patch .esp(besides SUM)?
  5. Just thought I'd mention I noticed something missing from the Skyrim Revisited Guide (haven't checked the latest S.T.E.P. yet) Also I'm extremely happy he disabled the Umbrellas from the leveled lists for containers (I and several people were annoyed with it) although I did like the snowshoes being there.
  6. So is it ok to install SkyRe 1.3 yet or are we still waiting on Balbor and Steelsouls patches?
  7. Forgot to post the performance monitor screenshot from my post last night. I'm still curious as to why it got an infinite loading screen.
  8. I'm telling you optimizing the whole ModOrganizer folder at once you really should select just the landscape textures, etc and do them one by one. It's more time consuming but it messes up a lot less textures. Go post over in the DDSOpt guide thread there should be a link in the wiki article pointing to the forum thread ask which ones are safe. Anyways just realized it was 3am here so I really need to get to bed hope someone else happens along to help you out.
  9. Please put that in a spoiler (the log I mean). Also when you are in DDSOpt you ARE changing the Constraints tab right? The second 8192x8192 should be changed when you're optimizing textures. They should be 1024x1024 for 1k or 2048x2048 for 2k.
  10. Well first make sure your ignore tab looks something like... Also now I think on it 83 Willows optimized her files so that one won't have any difference IIRC.
  11. Well you are in browse (for output) and you set it to a new folder right (by saying use folder after saying browse in DDSOpt)?
  12. Make sure your DDSOpt is setup as the screenshots in this guide says and that you are using the DDSOpt.ini from that guide.
  13. Check my other thread (State of Skyrim Revisited) I posted some info there. As for them being larger yeah that sounds about right. If you look at the uncompressed vanilla files which (as a rule of thumb) you should extract everything from the .bsa and into loose files. I'm looking at my unoptimized vanilla files and they are 2.43GB and my optimized folder is 999MB (1k resolution max). What I always do is if I know a mod has textures in it I will load it into Mod Organizer to have it extract the .bsa (if it has one) into loose files then I will cut the folder from ModOrganizer and into the folder I use for DDSOpting I'll then optimize the textures based on what I feel is reasonable (1k in most cases, 2k for armors usually). Once I'm done optimizing I'll repackage the loose files into a .7z archive load it back into ModOrganizer and enter in the mod ID from the Nexus and the version number.
  14. Are you sure you used the latest DDSOpt.ini file from the guide on the wiki?
  15. I got in another long chunk before the game froze on the loading screen while loading a save not quite sure why. Unlike the last time this one wasn't contiguous gameplay (playing SkyRe on Expert with only Meeko for backup and no arrows) against the large mudcrabs which seem to be bigger than they look as I shouldn't have been in range yet somehow they still hit me even though it didn't contact my body (visibly) so I was getting two and a half shotted also wolves >v< even without SkyTEST >V< Performance Monitor says I was playing for 4 and a half hours but it's more like 3 to 3 and a half as I left the client open (on menu) whilst I fixed and ate dinner.
  16. Is that the Travel Lantern? Chesko mentions that there is a bug with the Travel Lantern's world object where the oil assembly does not appear and I would assume this applies when equipped. I wouldn't know I usually use the Torchbug Lantern unless I find another of the types as loot. Also I know the Manual of Lantern Care book can be used to configure the Lanterns have you tried seeing if adjusting the brightness, etc. helps any?
  17. Well I'll leave Frostfall, Wet and Cold and Footprints enabled and disable Player Headtracking, SkyTEST and as I think I may have accidentally cleaned Guard Dialogue Overhaul I'm replacing and re-editing that. I'm going to try out the new version of Spinning Arrows since it does not seem to need an esp like the previous one as it's only meshes. I'm also seriously considering jumping ship on Realistic Lighting Overhaul and using Enhanced Lighting and FX (the problem will be going through the cells and editing) I keep hoping Chesko will release his optimized code for Wearable Lanterns and I think he said Frostfall as well soon. Also has anyone heard if he nixed his alternative to Realistic Needs and Diseases or if it's just taking forever? I assume it's likely on the back burner (I hope) with his game design job and the script optimizations.
  18. No I think they speak of Travelers of Skyrim.
  19. Didn't Chesko mention something about one of the lanterns on his description and FAQ pages about one of the lanterns having something wrong with the oil well?
  20. Well of course that's why I'm posting here after all I've tried fixing it on my own and haven't had much luck. Does anyone think I should enable logging or have any mods besides frostfall and Realistic Needs they think I should try disabling?
  21. Just had a CTD in the Wilderness while fighting so it's definitely not fixed. This time it was around the ruins with all the subjugated ghosts near labyrinthian near orotheim or something like that. I was playing for about an hour.
  22. Yeah but it isn't quite I just went in a dungeon and tried to lay a trap and ctd. I used krypt's mod to remove heavy armor from the crafting menu and that seemed to help but idk has anyone else had issues with Convenient Horses? And as I just got the DLC do you have to do a quest for the Dawnguard to enhance crossbows for SkyRe it's odd I would have thought I could upgrade it at a forge. I don't know maybe I should re-enable logging?
  23. Where do I enhance crossbows for enhanced reload etc?
  24. I just have to post an update. I'm kinda wondering if the majority of my troubles with Wilderness freezes is Convenient Horses. I played for 3 and a half hours (the majority on foot) without a freeze (the longest I've been able to since starting Skyrim Revisited) and was quite cheesed off that I got a freeze while crafting a fur tent. Testing areas were from Bloated Man's Grotto to Falkreath to Peddlers Misfortune to Riften to the Swamps south (including getting the Atronach stone buff) of Windhelm to Ivarstead to Whiterun and most everything in between. I did not enter but one dungeon but had several fights (including some with 10+ wolves) contracted several STD's from said wolves ate alot of food, stayed at several inns, made 1 campfire and setup a small leather tent during the heaviest rainfall and cursed several times. Also crossbows be OP. Skyrim Performance Monitor Screenshot Below. BOSS log attached. I haven't updated SkyRe yet as I'm waiting on the second set of patches to be ready qot is very fast it seems. INI settings seem to have been the cause of the infinite loading screens (seems somehow I changed the Split Distance Multiplier to 2) BOSSlog - 3.5 Hour without Horse.7z
