Yes, it's a similar case, I think. For a moment I got really excited because I thought SPP somehow was missing from my list but alas, it's there. Some of the files from SPP are being overwritten by SMIM, Project Parallax, RW2 and ELFX, which I suppose, is normal. I don't think SPP has a file for the spiderweb and cobweb effects, though. And strangely, it seems that cobwebs are showing up OK but it's the spider webs that surround the sacs that are missing. Really, going into a spider lair without the webs feels completely wrong and stupid and it's very, very annoying!

No, I still got it at the bottom and I can't figure out what's causing this... Redownloaded ISW, nothing. Is this a rare case, I mean, disappearing textures?

Hmm, don't think I misunderstood you but perhaps I did.. ISW, overwrites both my Vanilla Optimized textures and Ruins Clutter Improved, it has a lighting and a green plus sign next to it, hence what I said that it isn't being overwritten. Priority number is 220/289 and all subsequent mods have nothing to do with spider webs whatsoever. Still, I've moved it to be 289/289 and webs are still not appearing. I also tried unchecking Ruins Clutter Improved, which has new meshes for spider sacs, but that didn't work either.. sigh..

I don't know what might me causing this but there are no cobweb textures for some reason.. I use isoku's Intricate Spider Webs mod and it was working fine I think but I must have changed something.. I use MO and it says ISW doesn't conflict with any other mod I have, which is why I find this so odd. Any help would be appreciated!

Has anyone here used this mod for Standing Stones? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35804/? I've been using it for a while and personally love it, I use the optional DD stuff. Of course I love VL and use I think most of his mods so I'll try this one out for sure but gotta say, I'm pretty happy with the other mod as of now. -

I tried this mod couple months ago and I was really having fun with it but then after winning the Battle of Morthal (Imperial side) I had the quest objective "Reunification of Skyrim" and "Defend Markarth" as the first target. This is a bug since "Talk to General Tullius" should've been the first target. I'm sure I wasn't having any mod conflict since that character was just created to test the mod out and was very lightly modded (mostly textures) to ensure best possible compatibility. I tried reloading and that only translated that whenever I won the battle I would get the same bug over and over again and if I lost the battle but survived and ran for it then whenever I'd get killed next (anywhere) I'd be sent to Ulfric's room and lose "The Last Battle". If, however, I lost the battle on purpose when there were more Imperials left then I'd be sent to the Pale Imperial Camp and the target "Talk to General Tullius" would show. I tried this several times, I tried console commands but I wasn't able to win the battle and get the correct target. I told Apollodown of this but he merely said that since I was having many strange bugs, it was user error. Ha! Turned me off and deleted the character. -

Diggin' is done! Turns out Brumbeck had mispackaged SMIM's 1.6 update but he quickly got to it. Current is version 1.6b. -

Came across this purple texture. Must be one of the dirtcliffs, I guess.. I have dirtcliffs01.dds, dirtcliffs01_n.dds and dirtcliffs01_p,dds (from Vivid Landscapes) and dirtcliffsroots01.dds and _n.dds from The Beauty of Skyrim - Caves and Mines. Am I missing a texture? -

Could you please elaborate on this point? I have created another profile were Civil War Overhaul isn't a master but I'm not sure I understand how to have AV on both profiles. I mean I have a few ideas like copying the esp were CWO is a master and place it somewhere else, then run AV, create an esp without CWO and then create a mod with that esp selected and create another with the esp were CWO is a master and have that selected for that profile. It's very messy, I think, and I don't know were the textures would be placed so I need some help with this, if possible. I checked and deathneko doesn't mention having several profiles for SkyProc patchers on his MO Advance Guide video. Hey, perhaps he can hop in here and help with this? Thanks in advance! -

If anyone has done the SoS-The Dungeons.esp and ELFX patch, the way it's mentioned on the guide (Copy and override into-ELFX) then you'll end up with vanilla sounds on those cells. Next, you need to open TES5Edit again and select SoS-The Dungeons, ELFX and your created patch. Now open your Patch and go by each of the cells and worldspace that was patched and drag and drop the XCAS - Acoustic Space from SoS-The Dungeons.esp directly to your patch (skip ELFX). Close TES5Edit. -
Ooookay I've got a question about this patching business. I used Neovallen's method for patching on his Skyrim Revisited page as you suggested, rootsrat. Read, right click ELFX and sellect "Copy and override to". But I've noticed that under XCAS - Acoustic Space there is, for example, SoSDngnACSPCaveFalmer from SoS-The Dungeons.esp and IntDungeonCave from both vanilla and ELFX, but using Neovallen's method, IntDungeonCave appears also under my patch! This means that SoS sounds are effectively not being used, correct? Ahm... was this the idea? I wanted to make SoS's sounds heard! Or maybe I did it the wrong way??? Help!!

Hey Neovalen, I notice you have EFF on the Revisited page, how do you actually install the mod though? Mod author says that his Game Settings Tweaks are non optional and he then gives a list like fFollowSpaceBetweenFollowers and others, but doesn't say were to put these tweaks. Skyrim.ini? Skyrimprefs.ini? Under what, "Gameplay"? It's all a mystery to me. I've already asked the mod author to provide the right info on this. I also found that in your guide you show that the mod doesn't carry out changes from the DLCs so one needs to drag and drop a few things to the XFLDialogue.esp. However, I'm checking with TES5Edit and there seems to be other things not carried out from the DLCs that you don't mention on the guide. I'll apologize now for being such a pain :) Under Dialog Topic - 0005c80c - 0005c826: it is under Conditions and not under Responses were there are conflicts. Under Dialog Topic - 0005c80c - 0007a50b: there are Responses from DB not carried out but also some Scripts, I think..?? Just to clarify, we should drag and drop the Conditions, right? And whenever the case, PNAM - Previous Info, too? Thanks! -

Ah, I see. Then probably not unless you copy only the textures which are not covered on any of the STEP mods. But even then you'd have to first check which HRDLC textures override the Vanilla Textures, etc. A thankless task, if you ask me. I strongly recommend you look into how the Mod Organizer works and install them through MO, it is a safe very clean and organized way of installing mods as it installs every mod into each own folder and then works some magic creating a virtual data directory, all you need to do afterwards is prioritizing your mods. Hope it helps. -

Thanks DoubleYou, it made little difference I think but no worries. Can somebody please take a look at the last posts on the first page? I still don't know what to do.. Oh and another quick question about Automatic Variants using MO: how do you use AV with different profiles if one of the masters from one profile is not going to be used in the other? -

Have you tried setting the priority of the optimized textures as low as possible? Make them the first 7 slots so that everything else overwrites them. -

Oh! Thanks! ... Hmm well, it would work (MO starts when I run it) but I don't know why but every time I run Skyrim through Game Booster now, it says "Skyrim stopped working". Even the regular SKSE.. :/ Thanks anyway, DY -

Also, I just remembered this cause it just happened again. I don't remember this happening like this before but every now and then actors appear out of thin air, as if they were Psijic monks or something. Literally I can walk up to a khajit tent where there is no one around and then pop there they are, Kharjo, Ri'saad or whoever. Or I would be wandering around and right before my eyes, 3 cultist appear out of nowhere. What's causing this? -

Late response but yeah, I worked it out thanks to you guys. I was having problems when I would have to patch again and the textures would be lost but I just needed to have both the original and the patch (which contains the textures) selected, run AV, patch and create mod again then delete the previous patch. This way I found that it was in the patch where the esp was located so all one needs to do is move it to the original mod and then you can just patch as many times as you want, right? DoubleYou, shadows have improved a lot with your changes and even the black strip in the horizon is gone! I notice only a small performance lost with iShadowMapResolution=1024, however they still look quite pixelated and not very nice to look at so.. I mean I know I can't, because of my gear, have beautiful realistic looking shadows so it's no biggie, I can live with that but I did tried making them more blurry so they look less like squares and I changed iShadowFilter from 3 to 5 but this was not at all a good idea so which setting is the one I have to tweak for blurriness? iBlurDeferredShadowMask? I have two new minor issues: first, sometimes, since updating enb, whenever the game loads for the first time, it minimizes to desktop for some strange reason. I can just maximize it back and everything is fine but this didn't use to happen, any ideas? Second, I've noticed some ugly splitting textures that didn't use to be there. I've posted some images so you can see what I mean. Does this have to do with parallax or something like that? I've really no idea why this has been happening now... Hmm, apparently I've used my 1000kb quota :) Oh and does anyone know of a fix to the hideous texture that appears when a dragon lands? I think it's fxdirtmound01.dds, not sure but no texture packs include a "fix". :( -
I'd immediately notice that there's no water on the forge if it were missing, it's like if I didn't have SMIM, I'd notice the 2D chains and ropes right away. I definitely will ask isoku for that fix when Nexus is up, he doesn't visit the forums, does he? Thanks for testing it out deathneko, too bad it doesn't work. And, DoubleYou, I did use to have that mod installed but I changed to the WATER fix per suggested by either Aiyen or EssArBee: having four esps working just for the Blacksmith water was a bit much. :)

Oh, I just discovered I can edit the values SoS gives to Water Height, I'm redoing my patch now!
