  1. There's more dialog for one, even though not entirely voiced. It gives the characters more depth to their personality and feelings.
  2. I mean more substance. They don't really change anything besides when you join or how, this mod adds more depth and (Though it lacks voices for the characters.) feels like the characters more than just quest givers. I'd say that it's the way being in the Companions should have been in vanilla Skyrim.
  3. I've used this for quite some time and it brings out some life that wasn't there for the Companions. It's a great mod and I'm bummed out that the author isn't going to bring this kind of work to the other guilds, I've yet to really find any others that touch upon the same sort of idea.
  4. True enough, cabal did do some work for F:NV so here's to hoping the respective artists will do their thing.
  5. I realize the Millenia sticks to weapons but I hope he gets the urge to do his wizardry on power armor. I noticed stomping around in my X-01 that in first person and getting close in conversations that it looks a tad blurry. Still, I'm stoked that he's interested in doing mods for FO4.
  6. How'd you get yours discounted Neovalen? It shows up as $59.99 when I look at it.
  7. So it looks like the people who did NVSE and SKSE have already started on making on for Fallout 4 called F4SE. Wonder how things will go mod-wise with it out?
  8. If it makes it work, fine. Wouldn't using 64bit be better though use wise? Or is it something it can't compute?
  9. Is anyone else getting an error from Java saying: failed to inject dll into "javaw.exe": failed to access thread context. Please note that Mod Organizer does not support 64bit binaries! (The parameter is incorrect. [87]) I can't run DSR or SUM because the error pops up.
  10. As someone who's likely to not get the game for some time I'm probably going to be asking questions on and off to see how it is. Sorry to bother the folks talking about the graphics, haha. Now, having said that I do have one right now: What does the game use for damage mitigation? Fallout 3 used DR (Damage Reduction.) for their armor while F:NV mostly used DT (Damage Threshold.), although I use mods to enable both both in F:NV. Does Fallout 4 use either or both...or even some new thing, I dunno.
  11. Has anyone heard that Fallout 4 can run on monitors that go over 60fps without bugging out? I remember Skyrim's physics acting like they did cocaine putting it on speeds over it, it bummed me out when I found out after I bought a nice monitor.
  12. I believe it is, looking at systemrequirementslab says that Win7/8/10 64bit is required even as the minimum.
  13. I'm not saying that just because mods will come out to fix the problems makes it okay, if there are still issues a company should make efforts to fix it. What I like more is what can happen with mods, more along the idea of modding in general. FNV is a good game but things like Project Nevada make it great; it's what modders can do with the game (Especially Bethesda games.) that have me look forward to it.
  14. In a way I'm fine the way Bethesda does its games due to what modders can do with the game. I can forgive a bunch of stuff afterwords when mod come in to fix/improve/change something. That said actual bugs where a Unofficial Patch has to be made is irritating, especially when the patch is still being updated years after official patches are done. All in all I'm really looking forward to Fallout 4 coming out, I'm going to have to wait a while to get it though. But usually that's for the better anyway.
  15. Huh, wouldn't have thought of it being PN Rebalance being the culprit in the fps slowdown. Unfortunately I like it too much to part with it so I guess I just going to have to restart more often.
  16. So I'm still having fps problems and now they seem worse. I was getting 60fps for a while but suddenly I just dropped down to about 15-20fps when wandering around. I can use the console command pcb to give me 30-45fps if I stand still outside but as soon as I move a couple feet it drops back to 15-20fps. I figured it was the draw distance that was causing problems but putting them back in vanilla levels changed nothing. Being inside can boost me up to 50fps but sometimes it'll drop to the 15-20fps again. A question outside of this, has anyone used the New Vegas Configator? It looks like it has quite a few options but considering it deals with the fallout.ini and falloutprefs.ini it's usually good to err on the side of caution.
  17. Well, changing the d3d9 to the v.278 one looks like it solved the forced enboost. I'll play around and see if the fps is better.
  18. Yeah, isn't that what you're supposed to do when using enboost? It's the only thing that involves it in your guide. Edit: Or is it something you replace when you update enboost?
  19. Hey I found out who the culprit is, it's FNV 4GB. I can do a clean game and no enboost files but when I use FNV 4GB there they come along with the text at the start.
  20. Nope, FNV is only in one spot and I wasn't looking at Skyrim; I don't have FO3 installed anymore and everything about is was uninstalled and deleted. Seems to come from something installed on MO though, if I go vanilla or do MO with nothing mod-wise then no enboost text comes up.
  21. Yep, I got rid of all of that. Something is making a v.263 enblocal and enbseries files on its own.
  22. Did the enb search in the MO mods folder, nothing came up. I'll use the new game I started and see what mod/s could be the problem. Edit: Okay, even after deleting enboost's files to see if it does anything I noticed that it still comes up with v.263 when starting. So I checked and the files enblocal and enbseries are being added when the game starts. And from the look into the enblocal file it's a shitty setup which hopefully explains why my game is running at like half efficiency. Would anyone have an idea as to what would do this?
  23. Without mods I get 60 fps across the board. Also something weird, when starting with my mods it says the enboost version is .263 but when I start without mods it comes up as the correct .278. Why would that happen?
  24. Yep, everything is set to 60 fps maxed and the limiter is turned off. I do have to put my refresh rate on my monitor down from 144 htz to 60 htz when playing FNV and Skyrim due to the problems they get over that, but Skyrim comes out fine. Should I turn vsync off on the FNV launcher and use enboost's instead or something? Also, I don't use an enb besides enboost, so it should just be NVSR and enboost to affect fps in this case. Edit: Maybe change the number of the heap from 6 to 3 or 5? Edit2: Nope, no change.
  25. How's the fps for everyone using this pack or at least closely? I've been getting around 30 fps outside at best with the optimized textures and it's odd that it should be so; I run Skyrim harder than this and I get 60 fps almost all the time. I even unticked the POCO BUENU mod and it's still not up to par.
