  1. Yep testing of SRLE - REGS is still under way. What you are experiencing is more likely to be the result of a combination of scripted mods + ETaC. In particular, mixing mods that add NPCs (Intersting NPCs, Inconsequential, Poplaed Skyrim series), apply many scripts to those NPCs (e.g. Wet and COld, Frostfall etc.) and new content mods (ETaC - Dawnstar) may cause the engine to overload. Dawnstar used to be a particularly sensitive area in earlier versions of ETaC and before the memory patch. What I can say is that in our testing we haven't experienced any CTD yet since the intial release version 1.0. STEP Core + REGS is stable - although it has to be said that STEP Core barely has any scripted content. You should try to (perhaps temporarily) disable the mods Wet and Cold, Frostfall and NPC mods and test whether instability still exists. Please do report back here so we can gather from your experience.
  2. You could ask CJ how he obtained the skill to do it. He recently learned (quickly) how to make a FOMOD installer so maybe he has some good sources.
  3. Falskaar World Map Clouds As I'm suggesting the other Falskaar & Wyrmstooth map mod, it follows to also suggest this mod. They work well together.
  4. Better Falskaar and Wyrmstooth Map Today a Wyrmstooth map was added. I would like to suggest this for SRLE, if you haven't considered it already Neo.
  5. Nice to know that you solved it. Hope you liked the Whiterun exterior area when you passed by on your way to Dragonsreach. The majority of the pack work was related to that :)
  6. More coolness on the way. Next release will at least have the following: - Removal of SDD due to being too performance intensive (20fps cost with STEP/SRLE on R9 280X) - Inclusion of Hearthfire Chimneys (CJ custom made it to be compatible with ETaC, the file is already available at Hearthfire Chimney's nexus page if you can't wait to try it out) - Inclusion of Understone Keep Fountains and Rubble (a small thing was fixed) @geeee785: If you run out of VRAM you should notice considerable stutter. It usually does not lead to CTDs (though it can). More testing needs to be done for SRLE. Might be running into issues with Wet and Cold, Frostfall and other script intensive mods. It's too early to determine that but please try disabling those and report back here if it helped!
  7. Can't wait to see yet another addon of yours :)
  8. SRLE testing will take me a few more days.Â
  9. They change the look and feel of HH quite a lot... But I like what I see in game!
  10. Well... you got the install from someone else. Not saying your friend lacks competency, but by now a full SRLE install shoudlnt cause crashes on a system like yours in prticular... are you sure the mem patch is on?
  11. Buggy? Neither ETaC nor ELFX is buggy in any way... ETaC might have a negative effect on a heavily modded game if you don't have 150 - 300mb free VRAM room in your current setup. That is how much ETaC generally requires. This has been tested over and over again. ETaC by itself is not the cause of any crashes, freezes or ILS at all.
  12. It is currently incompatible with ELFX unless you do manual patching... And even then you have to be careful. An ETaC - Â ELXF compatbility patch has been in the making for quite some time but no official one has been released yet.
  13. Aye, CJ and I have been considering this for the REGS pack. Not sure whether to include it or not to due to some minor clipping issues.
  14. We chose delibirately not to include textures or visual changes (bar from the necessary stuff of some mods). Every user can decide this for themselves.
  15. Check signatures DYEMB :)
  16. CJ is currently doing the compatiblity testing with STEP while I am/will be doing SRLE during the next few days. In the spirit of each of those, we will provide a .esp file for STEP users and a conflict resolution guide for SRLE users.
  17. It has multiple functions. When you rebuild the patch it'll give you options and you'll get a report of what it does.
  18. You can also use RadeonPro, it has a lot more options than CCC.
  19. :O I didn't realize there was a new version with an immensily useful feature! What's New (January 29, 2014) Process Explorer v16.0 Thanks to collaboration with the team at VirusTotal, this Process Explorer update introduces integration with VirusTotal.com, an online antivirus analysis service. When enabled, Process Explorer sends the hashes of images and files shown in the process and DLL views to VirusTotal and if they have been previously scanned, reports how many antivirus engines identified them as possibly malicious. Hyperlinked results take you to VirusTotal.com report pages and you can even submit files for scanning.
  20. Ehhh YES. That setting is very likely to cause stuttering if you have it at =true. The only reason to set it to true is if you must save vram... Which is totally unnecessary with your shiny 290.
  21. It's normal with MO. The installr doesn't detect the SKSE scripts of the virtual folder. Nothing to worry about.
  22. See my signature. I simply have Vsync on in ENB and in CCC it is set to 'off, unless application specifies'. Ipresentinterval=1 Also I am thinking since you mention that you seem capped at 30 FPS: There are different varieties of VSync (I forgot their terms) but I know one of them caps you at half your monitor's refresh rate (i.e. 60/2=30) if you are running less than 60 FPS. Might be worth looking into that and whether such is settings is enabled somewhere in CCC or RadeonPro.
  23. Well if you would opt to follow either SRLE or STEP you will not experience save game bloating. Moreover with the new memory patch etc. this shouldn't become an issue at all. Imo save game bloating is more likely to be caused by low qualtiy mods (with bad scripts).
  24. That sounds like a great addition. I don't think books are large enough to justify 2k textures.
  25. Allright I am by no means an ENBoost expert but it took me months to get it to run without stutter. It is very system dependent and reading your responses to other thread it might even be an issue with the R9 290, or the driver (which versioo do you use? 14.1 has been problematic for many people on many games) or even the limitation of PCIE-2.0 bandwith (though I seriously doubt that). There's a lot of false or biased info on ENBoost so I'm tryign to give you suggestions based on my personal experience with it. My settings are: [MEMORY] ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true DisableDriverMemoryManager=true DisablePreloadToVRAM=false EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false ReservedMemorySizeMb=128 VideoMemorySizeMb=1920 EnableCompression=true AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false You should try switching each of those settings independently to true or false and see whether it makes a difference. I'd first try EnbleCompression=false. If that doesn't make a difference, put it back to =true. Then DisableDriverMemoryManager=true/false. There have been different recommendations for this over time for AMD cards. You should give both a try. ReservedMemorySizeMB=128. Default =64 but that causes stutter on my system. Try increasing this up to a value which doesn't cause stutter (if any). The lower the value the less chance for CTDs. Least that what Boris said. 64,128,256,512 are common values. I've never been sure whether 769 or 1024 is the max for this. VideoMemorySizeMb= Try putting this 128mb lower than your max vram. You can read that Boris does it like that over here: https://home.comcast.net/~thunor/images/hosted/config/memory.html Finally, if all else fails, try ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=false. THis will basically disable the offloading of RAM to the enbhost.exe process so you will have to deal again with the 3.1gb limit. But you can determine whether this is the issue.
