  1. Just manually drop the folder into the mods folder (i.e. skyrimMod Organizermods or wherever yours is). Right-click in the left pane of MO and click Refresh. It should show up somewhere (the bottom of the list for me) and you can check to enable it. You may need to alter the folder structure first as Aiyen describes above. When you open the folder that the archive unzipped to, you should see folders "meshes", "textures", etc. If it's not like that, make it so. (Aiyen's first sentence is referring to putting things directly into Skyrim's data directory, which of course circumvents the point of MO.)
  2. I was thisclose to just setting up a sleeping bag in the Bioware base at PAX... also I just read that Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) did some voicework. Is it ok if fandoms cross the streams? I'm pretty excited to see this engine in action and hopefully get some very interesting combat mechanics. I read that you can run with 3x of a class with how they have the companions set up - it's going to be tough to choose one main party comp :(

  4. I was looking at this as well because of the update... I was looking in MO at what it overwrites and saw it overwrites HD Linens (in my particular setup). As I compared the two I wondered what actual old linen might look like. Google Image away, and I found something amusing, figured I'd share: HD Linens RCI Wikipedia entry on Linen
  5. Settings > Configure Mod Categories (button at bottom) > right-click anywhere on the list of existing categories, "Add"...
  6. I don't have 1.4, but I do have a list of the files that are installed. textsnip text list: https://textsnip.com/1hw9ei PDF: https://speedy.sh/S523g/Book1.pdf
  7. Go to Settings (rightmost icon on the top, with tools), you'll already be on the General tab, check to enable "Advanced" and change the Download directory as you see fit.
  8. Yeah it didn't really seem like that was occurring for me, not that I really delved into it... I have actually been playing the game instead of just modding it D: didn't feel like messing with it further. I don't like the Steam browser's font rendering, and it's just as easy to tab out with BW to my normal browser that also has LastPass.
  9. I updated my RealVision to 200, and I somehow completely ran out of memory period. Skyrim crashed, Chrome crashed, all aboard the failboat :><: It was pretty exciting to see the 780MB in the Elys MemInfo, until it CTDed that is... when I opened Task Manager the enbhost was at 1.7GB of RAM on top of Skyrim. I generally try to close absolutely everything except a couple tabs of Chrome (UESP wiki and STEP forums). Even in the past when I was still using 2K interior *and* exterior textures and non-halved normals, I've never had that happen (I've had the occasional out of mem CTD for Skyrim only, a few times, but none recently since I further optimized my mods). I switched to the 199 version and it seemed ok... This is really the first time I've used an ENB for more than a few minutes, so I'm not a pro yet and I could just be doin' it rong. It seems very new as well, so I think I may just see how 199 goes for now.
  10. Does anyone know where clutter/books/tornpagetext.dds might pop up? You probably wouldn't be able to read it in game, but the text on it is addressed to "PO Box [] San Rafael California 94913," dated "February [], 1958" and obviously the rest of the letter... kind of odd to throw on there.
  11. The categories (e.g. UI, Visuals, NPCs) that you can apply to mods, not the names of the mods themselves. Go to Settings (tool icon) > General (first tab that comes up) > Configure Mod Categories (button at bottom). You can add or remove categories here.
  12. See: "This mod does not carry forward changes from the various DLCs." You're copying the data from Dragonborn.esm into the SIC DLC2.esp, overwriting the data there. This applies the changes made in Dragonborn to the SIC DLC2.esp.
  13. I currently have my Steam directory on my SSD (G:\Steam). I have both BOSS and MO in their own folders in the skyrim directory (i.e. G:\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\BOSS\BOSS.exe). I actually installed BOSS to the data directory (leaving MO in skyrim) to see if I could replicate your issue, but I could not, but there's probably other variables at play. My BOSS added through MO uses BOSS.exe, as Skyrim's the only game using it. This is what my MO settings look like, just for reference... seems like something is a) telling BOSS to look in Data, or b) not telling it so it defaults to Data: I'd rather not mess with my setup too much but I can install MO/BOSS to test on my husband's computer, as he has no patience for modding...
  14. Not sure if you've looked at these/read for the bugs for each, I looked through them and it might be helpful: https://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Boethiah%27s_Calling https://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Grimsever%27s_Return https://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:The_Cursed_Tribe
  15. SkyRe? https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9286/
  16. I have about 250 mods and it's usually maybe ~30 sec start up, if that (on 2nd SSD I got for games). If you have it on a regular HD now, I think moving it would be enough. There's ~312 mods total in SR so I'd think you should see the load time well under a minute.
  17. I was really hoping for it sooner rather than later... looks like I'm going to have to take drastic measures.
  18. My load order is mostly SR (I took out maybe ~100 mods and added ~30 of my own, none that involve plants or harvesting or even alchemy). I did optimize the BSAs so I switched out the 5 vanilla ones. I was able to pick the same nirnroot now, but idk if it was because I ran over there right away as opposed to being an hour into gameplay. I had it happen once before opening a barrel and picking up salt, in my last game, so hopefully it was just a random occurrence.
  19. My game has been pretty much perfectly stable, but I guess it really hates nirnroot. I tried to pick one and my desktop appeared nigh instantaneously. I know there's been tons of problems with it in general, but I can't seem to find anyone on the interwebz with that specific issue. I'd enable logging and try to duplicate it, but for now it's bedtime :-\ adulthood ftl.
  20. I have a lot of friends from college that are vegan and constantly posting about their vegan-ness. I have celiac so I think if I had to be vegan I might just off myself... techangel, my roommates used to make cake with silken tofu instead of eggs, it was very good. "It's my protein mom!"
  21. I would definitely like this for the corpse of poor Stump in Riverwood. Damn you wild boar :(
  22. LI-HUD: MiniHUD: Looks like "none" re: compatibility unfortunately
  23. You can import mods from NMM into MO. I've never used NMM much myself, but once I got MO going it's pretty much the easiest thing ever. You can copy paste any ini's you've modified into MO's ini editor as well.
  24. Have you looked at https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=2465 or https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=1929? I'd run your setup as is and have GPU-Z going. Run around until you CTD. Open up the log there and see if the numbers there point to anything. If there's no red flag waving there, disable mods then add them back in batches (obviously easier said than done...) Also all of the steps that come with the setup anyway (and yes, I'd like to assume you did all of this but after too many hours spent troubleshooting networks to find something was just unplugged...) - cleaning mods, running BOSS, optimizing further as noted above, etc. I see a lot of script errors in those Papyrus logs, but it's not something I normally look at so, not sure: (https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/Papyrus_Runtime_Errors) "Unable to bind script This can mean that either the script is missing (in which case you will see a failed to load error before this one) or the script cannot be attached to the type of object it is attached to. (Like trying to attach a script that extends ObjectReference to an alias) "Unable to call X - no native object bound to the script object, or object is of incorrect type" This error appears when the ObjectReference that the script is attached to, or the ObjectReference's base form, can no longer be found by the script. There are various scenarios that can cause this problem. Some examples and possible solutions are: - the plugin was upgraded and the new plugin file no longer has this base form, or the form ID has changed. The savegame is still trying to reference the old form. The solution may be to follow the plugin author's "clean save" procedure before upgrading the plugin. - you disabled the plugin but haven't uninstalled the plugin's loose scripts (if any). The solution is to remove the plugin's loose scripts from the Skyrim "data/scripts" folder. - a bad savegame read, where somehow data has become corrupted while the savegame was being loaded. Try restarting Skyrim and reloading your savegame. This often fixes the problem. - savegame corruption. Try loading an earlier save and see if the problem is resolved.
