  1. I also love npc mods. Filling in spaces that are pretty empty is important to me. All the npcs he adds are lore friendly and make sense in the location they are placed. They will not get boring to talk to because well.........they don't have any interest in talking to you. That is what is great. There are not many mods that add npcs that are just going about their daily lives. Not everyone will stop and want to say hi like he mentions ;) It is also updated and currently being worked on to add more. There was just an update adding more NPCS the other day (his goal is 100 with 52 currently available)
  2. I have actually tested this most pretty thoroughly. Some of the voices are pretty good. On the other hand some are not so great. There are also many conflicts with lighting mods, but most importantly the sound mods (which STEP is going to add in the next update). I have resolved this by putting this mod in the load order above the sound/lighting mods even if it is not recommended by boss. I have had no issue and it resolves most conflicts. Another problem with the mod is that the NPCS tend to get tedious. Many of them have a lot of dialogue. It takes some time to get through it all. Many tell you their entire life story no matter what. This is pretty fun at the start, but it does end up becoming tedious later on. The newer npcs and quests that are being added seem to be addressing this issue a bit. That is good news. The pluses are that I really love the npcs and characters it adds to the game. It adds quite a lot actually! A lot of the inns even have 2 more npcs floating around. Many of them are quite indeed very interesting to talk to at first. It is a mod that I would not consider uninstalling very easily. Adds that much to the game for me :)
  3. They are not super serious conflicts. Easily resolved in the way SR does resolve conflicts :) Edit: I would also say the performance for adding these npcs does not decrease at all for me. There are not a massive amount that is added after all.
  4. I also think this mod is worth installing. An alternate version would work very well if he was willing.
  5. I really love this mod. Especially it's modular nature. I only do not use the dawnguard/werewolf plugins. Since other mods I have fill those gaps much better.
  6. I love BCS too. Better looking and I enjoy the variety.
  7. That is an unfortunate bug. According to the mod page it can only be fixed by Bethesda :/. Personally I enjoy the sleeping animation more than anything else. That is the main purpose of the mod after all.
  8. That is true. Sorry. The compass colored markers no longer work if it is installed. I'm assuming it was just an over site. If i'm not mistaken STEP originally didn't suggest the full version? Can be fixed in the next version surely.
  9. Simple crosshair and NACMIM are actually compatible. They do not overwrite each other in any way. I use both without any issue. It is a shame though. Hopefully the LIH mod author adds colored map markers soon. That would be great.
  10. Ah. Ok. That makes sense now. Thank you.
  11. I am hoping this is a good place to ask this. For Skyrim Revisited is it advised to install the back-hip dagger and the back sword animations? It does not say so I know I just want to make sure. Also, if there is reason why not? Curious. Have not tried them.
  12. I agree with Neovalen. At first I didn't like them, but they do go well with Book Covers. It fits a lot better. The colors seem much better too.
  13. The HR-DLC spell tomes are 1024. I can attest =) Edit: They are actually bigger than this mod file size wise.
  14. Something to keep in mind. For an alternate to the main start/story pack perhaps. ;)
  15. Maybe, but I think it only should be applied to the two mods (Interesting/Inconsequential NPCS) just to be safe. This is what the mod author of the latter responded to me with. "In general, lighting mods should go before NPC mods, not after--that's generally how they are listed in the BOSS masterlist. The main reason is that lighting mods like RLO and 'Relighting Skyrim' make such extensive edits to just about every single default game interior cell that it's bound to have conflict with numerous mods. Any conflicts with this mod will be the least of your worries (and minimal at best). I won't be making a compatibility patch for RLO, since I only use RLO's modular dungeon plugin (and it only edits imagespaces for the most part, so works nicely with any load order). But if anyone wants to volunteer to do maintain a compatibility patch with RLO, I'll host it here and credit their assistance accordingly. But that's not going to do much for people who have large load orders, since there are probably at least a dozen other mods in their load order that conflicts with RLO's interior lighting edits. For what it's worth, I use ELFX, and there are no conflicts." I have never had any issue. I have only changed the load order of these two mods. Which is why it is probably safer to only apply the change in load order to these types of mods. Personally, from what I see, the cells do not have anything related to the NPC mods. The ones that conflict at least. Just the image space/acoustic space is overwritten by the NPC mod, back to vanilla settings, since it is placed after the lighting mods. This makes it so you miss out on the lighting/sound mods purpose in certain areas I would think? I'm not a mod author or anything so he probably does know better than me. Will just keep doing it anyway. No issues so far.
  16. I do not really use followers so it is good to know that there are some issues. One that may be fixed too =) Otherwise, I really like the mod. It does not do tons of stuff, but I really enjoy actually being able to see my character go to sleep. Everything works fine. All the different configurations work well. I personally set the 'snooze' option pretty high. So it takes a while to get out of bed. Which would be fairly realistic for me :P
  17. Recently installed. Will try it out soon and share my experience.
  18. I agree that it does look really cool. Would have to agree with sheershaw though. When you reanimate a fresh corpse it should not become instantly zombified.
  19. If i'm not mistaken I believe that he added new voices to Moonpath. Not sure if they are better or to what extent. I agree that the Interesting NPC dialogue can become a little much. Way too tedious if you have already heard it 3/4 times. The Inconsequential NPC mod interested me a lot when I read what it is about. So I checked for conflicts and..........they are really not bad at all. Compared to Interesting NPCs the amount of conflicts are not even close. Putting them above the sound/lighting mods would fix almost all conflicts. Besides the occasional USKP fix not being carried, but that is an easy fix too ;)
  20. I have for Interesting NPCS There are quite a few problems/conflicts. Conflicting with RLO and all the sound mods most especially. It also conflicts with some race/actor values from SkyTest. I ended up just loading it before all the lighting mods to reduce most conflicts. Then I carried over some of the minor conflicts between it and SkyTest. Overall I really enjoy the mod. Miss it too much to go without it. I am wiling to do the work to make everything work. However! There still is a high chance for issues surely. Basically if you think it would be too much of a hassle I would just wait. It is still in BETA after all. EDIT: There is also one NPC who conflicts for Bring Out Your Dead. Would need to add it to the patch or make a new one. Moonpath does not seem to have any major problems. It should work fine. I have not started the quest in game so I cannot say if there are actually any issues when playing.
  21. Using all three of them too! Working well and no issues.
  22. Ok. Thank you =) Figure it would mess up nights and some other stuff?
  23. I'm assuming this mod does not conflict with Sounds of Skyrim or COT-sounds since it only alters vanilla sounds?Â
  24. Mod Page Here we are =)
  25. I would be willing to help with something like STEP for FONV. I am fairly familiar with a lot of the mods. Having modded the game and having played quite successfully without much issue. Would not mind helping with other games either. No experience modding FO3 or Oblivion though.
