najt Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Amazing mod. Overhauls the lights to create a more realistic and dramatic mood, adds effects like smoke and driples. Different interior lights depending on night/day. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27043
mothergoose729 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Just checked out a few interiors. Really impressed so far. I can verify that the screenshot in the temple of diabella is accurate. Those dynamic shadows were not there before.
Korentin Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 This looks really promising, haven't run into any issues with it so far.
rpsgc Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 FYI, it conflicts with some mods. SMIM and Project Parallax at least.
Korentin Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I didn't notice any, probably since its only "indoor" buildings so far.
mothergoose729 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I have noticed a slight dip do to there being a few more dynamic shadows. Hardly noticeable really.
Spiffyman Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 This mod seems very awesome. I'll have track this mod to watch it's progress.
mothergoose729 Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 These were taken with RLWC I would have to look at it more, but I am observing that windows will shine light through not only at appropriate weathers and times of day, but from appropriate directions of the sun as well. The bards college has light threw windows in the screenshots but not from windows at the opposite ends, which seems very cool. The effects are not all ubiquitous though. Hearthfire doesn't have any of the special lighting effects, and I have stumbled upon some obscure interiors that don't appear much different.
najt Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 As it says in the descriptionOnly the interiors of Whiterun, Solitude, Windhelm, Riften, Markarth, College of Winterhold, the Inns and some very few other interiors were worked, the rest is in WIP and will be periodic released as it gets done, first interiors and then the exterior places.
TechAngel85 Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 This might conflict with anyone running RCRN as they already have dynamic lighting. Does anyone know if this would conflict with the realistic candle lighting mod that is already a part of STEP? (Real Effect Candle) Since this does more than candles it could be a replacement, although it doesn't work everywhere like Real Effect Candle does. SkyRealism - Cinematic with RCRN - Classic and Real Effect Candle Mod.
