FOSE Crash on startup

Recommended Posts

After going through this guide and cleaning and optimizing everything, FOSE is crashing on startup looking in MOlogs and the last 5 or 6 lines say:

DEBUG (00:09:58.0855): get file attributes: C:\Users\warri0rheart\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\FALLOUT.INI -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Mod Organizer\profiles\Clear and Present Danger\FALLOUT.INI: 20
INFO (00:09:58.0962): archive list limit removed at 00AA7827
DEBUG (00:09:59.0359): first access to data
DEBUG (00:09:59.0359): createfile w: Plugins.txt -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Mod Organizer\profiles\Clear and Present Danger\Plugins.txt (80000000 - 3) = 000002E4 (0)
INFO (00:09:59.0950): Windows Exception (c0000005). Origin: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Fallout3.exe" (beea75). Last hooked call: unsigned long __stdcall GetFileAttributesW_rep(const wchar_t *)

Not sure what to do.

Edit: Wrong part of the forums.

I am not at my computer so it is hard to check right now. All the startup problems I am aware of I put in the guide and I add new problems/solutions when users post them.

I'd take a wild punt that'll have something to do with UAC since STEAM is in the Program Files (x86) directory.

Actually those messages aren't pointing to any evidence of your FOSE crashing, you will need to post the full logs.
